He looked like he came with the intention of finding fault with my dryer even though I told him my dryer was fine, all I called him for was to clean dryer for a so called of 79 dollars he attacked the dryer right away about faulty this and that and what was supposed to be basically cleaning came up to 550 dollars. I got hipped to what he was asking so he came down to 350 dollars. And guess what when he left and was all done there was no heat coming out of the dryer and called the so called good company back and they told me they wouldn't get to come back till Sunday and they said it could be my pipes. I said Bologna there was never anything wrong with my pipes, so I called another company called fixes Appliances and thank God they solved my issue. The cleaning of my dryer vent appeared to be good. The person who came out was nice enough. However, our clothes still were not getting dry and it appeared to be worst after they came out. After having the dryer service via our warranty, the rep stated that it may be a situation in which the cleaning pushed debris towards the outside vent blocking flow and to have them come back out and check. They suggested them using a camera. I also recieved the same information from another maintenance person in our condo building. I tried several times over several months to get someone to return my calls and resolve the issue. However, I never get a return call. They don't have a problem calling you back to schedule an appointment but when I ask to speak to the rep that came out to do the servie or someone else to help the situation, I get ghosted. So, I would just warn people to proceed with caution. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before agreeing to their service. read more

While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise (our original appointment was rescheduled due to the technician falling ill, which we were happy to accommodate), the follow-up experience fell short of basic customer service expectations. We were rescheduled for a Friday between 8-10 AM. By 9 AM, I had received no updates or ETA from the company. I attempted to reach them using several contact numbers listed on their Instagram and stories -- one number was even disconnected, and the others went unanswered. Around 9:30 AM, I finally received an IG message and was told I'd get an ETA soon. By 10 AM, I still hadn't heard back. At that point, I canceled the appointment and expressed my frustration with their lack of communication. I will not be reaching out to them again for any services and, frankly, I'm relieved I didn't move forward with having them clean our air ducts and dryer vents. When a technician or service provider fails to communicate reliably, it's often a preview of the overall professionalism you can expect. In this case, it spoke volumes. We called them for their $199 promo to clean out the air ducts with the negative pressure machine and to clean out our dryer vent. When they came, we were told our options were for $799 or $1499 cleaning due to our dryer vent being on the roof. The $799 "deep cleaning" involved spraying bleach into our ducts and wiping it around with a brush for a few minutes. Our house smelled like bleach for multiple days even with all the windows and back door open. I texted them multiple times asking for the bio labels and if it was normal for the house to smell like bleach for days and never got a response. They also only took cash or Venmo (no credit card or checks), which seems like a sketchy business practice (maybe trying to avoid taxes?) On top of all that the techs were weird and asked to use our bathroom as well as to charge his phone in our house with our charger. read more

As other reviewers have said, I hired them on a promo that was advertised as whole house duct cleaning for $199. I've seen this ad several times since and the videos in the ad show a ton of things that aren't included in this, very false advertising. The technician said they should have given me the full service info via text when I scheduled it, but they did not, therefore I assumed I was receiving a whole house duct cleaning. When I asked questions about the service on the phone when I had to reschedule I was told the technician could answer my questions (the guy didn't know anything, it seemed). The reality was they put a negative air machine up to one vent, which to me seemed like a very weak vacuum, then tell you that for a proper cleaning you need to spend $800 or $1500 depending on how they do it. The $199 is "only for maintenance" so if you've never had your ducts cleaned then it won't do much. So I paid $199 to not do much. The technician was very nice but I definitely feel mislead. I have seen a lot of this kind of promo for other companies so I don't think they are unique in this kind of thing, but doesn't mean it's ethical. We did have them clean the dryer vent while they were here, another $225, and I have no idea if he did a good job or not because he didn't take any pictures which is a red flag (he said he should have but didn't). He also left my return air vent wide open. Interested to see if my review gets taken down or if I get harassing messages from the owner as others have said. ****BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!**** Texted with Ella to make the appointment. Danielle confirmed the appointment. While two technicians showed up on-time for a quoted $79 vent cleaning, they did not believe me that the vent would be under the garage and the side of the house and continued their inspection of the entire property and requested to get onto the roof and into the attic. (First red flag) I still obliged. I was then informed that there were two options, 1) vent cleaning of $585 due to a blocked vent and they were unable to determine length (15+ feet) or 2) vent installation to the roof because the "vent" went to the attic with no connection to the outside. After saying "no" several times, I was offered a 20% discount for being a Costco member???? (Second red flag) At no point in time previously was it discussed that the length of the dryer vent had a direct relationship to any additional price. After continued polite declines, the two technicians would not leave and began to emphasize the danger of the situation. Yes, of course I understood, that's why they were called in the first place. They wouldn't leave until my husband, overhearing the exchanges back and forth from his office, told them to leave. A prime example of an atrocious lack of professionalism and disrespect in someone's home. Our neighbor confirmed the location of the vent (under the garage and our the side of our house) with a small blockage, helped us clean it out in under an hour after their departure with a borrowed $30 dryer cleaning extension and leaf blower. She explained to me that this weekend is Leo's Sabbath and that's why he doesn't respond to any message. She even emailed me the 6-month warranty plus the invoice of the work. I was told Leo would refund me the difference after Sabbath. I would say I'm very satisfied with her service. Overall, this company does pretty decent air cleaning service. Ended up paying $1800 total so $1600 extra for deep cleaning additional 5 returns and Anti repellant/sanitizer! Which is fine if it was a time consuming job but the whole process took less than 1.5 hours. Make sure to do your homework upfront and get multiple quotes, before agreeing to any extra charges my husband made this mistake and agreed without shopping around In the billing it said external dryer vent cleaning, and component cleaning and per vent and grille cleaning, we have 20+ vents but none were worked on directly. When I said that these were not done they removed them from billing. Basically there was no cleaning of the AC unit components at all just the negative pressure machine through one duct for 1 hour and the additional 5 returns deep cleaning and interior dryer vent. Even they left the lint on floor and didn't not clean it. A so called technician came to my house. He spent 45 miniates and charged me $411.93 . Technician whose English was very poor said $199 was the base. He didn't do the Dryer cleaning at all. I already wrote a review about how I experienced the same harassment as happened to some of the other 1 star reviewers, but Shalom aggressively pursued Yelp until they took my review down.
