Our HOA hired HVDC to clean out our dryer vents. The young man who did the work was professional and friendly. He asked me if my dryer was working well and I said yes. As he was leaving, I asked him how the vent was and he said it was terrible! He asked again if I was sure the dryer was working well. I said yes, that I just have to run it twice to get the clothes dry, but I thought that was because I always used the delicate cycle He said that now it should only take one cycle. He was right. My clothes are now dry in one cycle and most importantly MY ELECTRIC BILL IS HALF WHAT IT WAS!!! Who knew? Not me, obviously! Very grateful for this service. read more

Had to wait 3 weeks because they were booked up but well worth it. Alex did a fantastic job. First my HOA didn't even know where the outside vent was and I didn't but Alex figured it out! I got sucked into the Tik Tok trend and purchased a vent cleaning brush online and then proceeded to get the brush stuck in my vent. I googled and got this company and they were pretty booked but I told them it was an emergency. The Technician came the next day 8:30AM and was super cool and helpful and cleaned out the vent, extracted the brush, cleaned the whole dryer lint trap, and changed our old aluminum pipe in the back of the dryer. I really needed help with a malfunctioning dryer vent. HVDC squeezed me in for an early morning appointment. I thought the technician might seem rushed, but he arrived on time, with a mask, and took the time to show me what was causing the problem. He had several suggestions and explained each and then recommended the least expensive one which was just a vent cleaning that needed to be done anyway. He took his time and did a thorough vent cleaning but he worked steadily and efficiently so the job was nonetheless done pretty quickly. And he was right. The vent cleaning solved the problem. I am going to begin my review by admitting that the entire time I have lived in my home (since 2017), I have never had my dryer vent cleaned. Yes....I am an irresponsible homeowner. I wasn't aware of the importance of it, so I never made it a priority. I purchased a new washer dryer unit a couple of months ago and realized that the dryer was taking WAY too long to dry my clothes. He explained to me the importance of cleaning the vent and the entire process. My dryer is small & in an inconvenient location. The technician was ready to get on my roof to make sure the vent was thoroughly cleaned, however he was able to get the cleaning done from inside my unit with a little extra work.
