Robert was on time, respectful, knows his job inside and out. He also goes the extra mile. I had knocked a window panel off the rail and he not only fixed it for me, but he also put a cap piece on the end so it wouldn't slide off again. Like myself in my business, he is not the cheapest air duct cleaner around, however I want the job done well, one time, and that is what Robert's goal is and it's how he runs his business. He cleaned everything out meticulously and also went on the roof and cleaned the vent up there, too. I encourage anyone needing help after seeing an error message on your dryer like an "d95" type, it's time to give Robert a call. He also has a lot of expertise in many other areas related to appliances too. But best of all, He comes out to Malibu!

In fact, it was so dirty that we started feeling increased airflow through our HVAC system after he cleaned everything out. When he noticed some things that were off about our dryer, including the fact that it was 27 years old. He recommended that we get a new one and stopped his work immediately and adjusted pricing to follow. Overall will absolutely use his services again because we definitely need to get these ducts clean more than once and he was the right guy for the job.

I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. Great sales tactics on their end if you are evaluating them from a business standpoint. Lots of AI interface and lack of personal human approach to business. I had an issue with my furnace. They came out and diagnosed it, and did the repair that day. Days later when I went to use it, same issue. They came back out and diagnosed two other issues, no mention of why we don't think that those things weren't present the first visit. So I paid for first and second visit. I think I should have been refunded the first visit since clearly that service didn't fix the job. Oh and the best is they already started trying to up sell me a whole new system...they installed mine 10 years ago. They were better 10 years ago.

They also discovered that years of lint had built up inside the dryer and offered to stay on to clean that out for a reasonable additional fee. But, I timed the visit, and it was a few minutes under an hour, and that included everything; the estimate and repair labor. The bill was $ 758.00 for that hour. I talked to the repairman about the cost of parts versus labor and he said they were not separated out. I talked to the business owner later on. He said that of the $758, the parts were about $80....although I found Amazon is cheaper. He did go through his costs with me, stating they were part of the job, but most had nothing to do with the repair but rather, costs of running a large corporation ......costs such as .....employee benefits ......travel time to and from the job ......office management ......payments on his fleet of trucks, my guess ......profit for the owner that the worker never receives. On the other hand, the costs of a self-employed serviceman would be parts and labor only, in his bill, usually $50-$100 an hour plus parts. So, bottom line, it was a simple job with cheap parts which I accepted ....trusting that it would require more time and cost than it actually did. My bad, I should have gotten another estimate, which means a second cost for a second estimate, but in this case I should have paid it. SINCE I KNEW THE REPAIR THAT WAS NEEDED, I SHOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO BARGAIN A BIT LOWER WITH SUBSEQUENT CONTRACTORS... SOMETHING I WILL REMEMBER IN MY FUTURE CONTRACTED JOBS. My view, everything was legal, but the service of a large air conditioning company should be noticeably cheaper or else it offers no benefit to offset the cost. I saw no such benefit. Finally, I would encourage you to talk to the owner, he's pleasant and well spoken. He will have a lot to say.

My dryer had been running really hot and it was taking forever to dry a load. First I called an appliance repair company who told me my entire vent needed to be cleaned and recommended I didn't use the dryer until it was cleaned because it was a fire hazard. I called my HOA and was referred to Harris Vent & Duct Cleaning. Brian came out and in addition to throughly cleaning the vent he replaced the outside vent cover which wasn't to code. By the way, the vent outside wasn't located where the HOA told me it was, but Brian found it and completed the job. I've only been in my home for 9 months and for all I know the vent has never been cleaned. Brian is knowledgable, professional, and a really nice guy. I will definitely be calling him next year to clean the vent again. read more

I had a new washer and dryer installed recently and the dryer now has an air flow sensor. I have never had my dryer vent cleaned in the past so I wasn't sure who to call. I found Harris Vent and Duct cleaning on Yelp and thought that I would give it a try since they are nearby. I called on a Tuesday and was able to get an appointment on a Thursday. I like that there is also just a one hour arrival window. The dryer vent cleaning process was less than an hour and my home was left in great condition and very clean. Next time I would consist using them for my AC duct cleaning as well. Nice friendly staff on the phone and in-person. I didn't feel pushed into purchasing anything else. Hadn't had our dryer vent cleaned in several years... that is until we had to turn off our dryer to stop it from smoking. Called Harris and Jenny there was able to get a technician out the next morning. The technician arrived on time, was polite and very knowledgeable, as I asked him numerous questions about the job. We have an older house with a vent that has winds up and around and has several corners which clearly had trapped a ton of lint and one birds nest. The technician was able to completely clear our vent and even cleaned out the filter in the dryer itself. All of it took no more than about an hour and unlike other service providers we've had, he didn't try to upsell us on any other services. I have no qualms about recommending this company. read more

The technician came to my home today and cleaned out the dryer vent for us. He possibly saved us from having a home fire with all that had built up in the vent. He were prompt, curious, happy, answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. When he left there was no mess left behind. I was having a major problem with my clothes dryer vent--it was completely clogged! I called Harris Vent & Duct Cleaning and was able to get an appointment within a few days. Brian was here even before my scheduled appointment time and was able to clear the clogged vent, remove lint from the dryer itself, and replace the hose from the dryer to the vent. I am so relieved to have a fully functioning dryer again, and I am going to do a better job of having it maintained in the future! HVDC did an outstanding job cleaning my dyer duct. The technician was professional, considerate, engaging and efficient. I've had this done several times before I knew about HVDC. Unlike my previous experiences, the technician not only cleaned the ducts, but also cleaned lint from the inside of the dryer. An even more pleasant surprise is that there was no lint all over the area outside as a result of the cleaning. My dryer is running more efficiently than ever now, and the price was reasonable. The HVAC tech was very helpful and went above and beyond just cleaning my dryer vent! He moved cabinets and created access for my vent. He spent a great deal of time getting the vent clean, along with the dryer itself. I had used another company earlier in the year that did not actually do the work I had thought I was paying for and the tech confirmed the vent had not been cleaned correctly. I am very happy with the service and honesty and will use Harris Vent again for my yearly cleaning. My dryer was shutting off before the load was dry. I'd restart the machine but would have to repeat several times before it eventually completed the cycle. I contacted an appliance repair company whose representative diagnosed the possible problem as clogged vent and recommended Harris Vent & Duct Cleaning for the job. I got an appointment within days and Brian came out to clear the vent. The job was completed within 1/2 an hour and since then my 12 year old dryer is working like brand new again. I contacted other companies through yelp - one wanted to charge almost double what HVDC did, one told us the vent under the house was broken and we needed a new line for $800, one told us that they would do the dryer vent cleaning only if we got all the other ducts/vent cleaned. I was referred to the company by the tenant of a home I rent out and was extremely pleased by their service. This family owned business has top rated service. The dryer duct cleaner actually educates his customers, and tells us what is needed and what he is doing. He is beyond thorough and checks all safety concerns. All other duct cleaners are like an assembly line, and don't use the vacuum or make sure it done property. I called HVDC Inc on a Monday Morning and was told they were filled, but they slipped me in and arrived promptly on the right day and time to clean my dryer vent. I like to get my dryer vent cleaned out at least once a year, but it is way too hard for me to get to it as it runs under my house, in the cement. HVDC, Inc. came out and did a really thorough, awesome job. And the cost was really reasonable. Cleaned out vents in the dryer I can't reach as well as vacuuming and wiping down the entire pipe. Very much worth it given the risk of fires with dirty vents. read more

These guys are miracle workers! Had to put a dryer in an EXTREMELY tight fit. Every other company who came out to inspect said it couldn't be done. He showed photos of dirty interior conditions and advised of all options to be considered to either upgrade or maintain the unit. No pressure to take all recommendations. Returned at time promised with upgrade, installed it and thoroughly cleaned and adjusted the unit inside and out. He actually took it apart. He showed before and afters and the difference was clear. We feel safer and are breathing cleaner air. Definitely worth a try for HVAC needs. It's worth the money.

I've had to lean on this company a lot - so I have a lot to say, ha! Here's my review from 9 months back: I had a nightmare installation done by bad contractors causing a brand new unit to breakdown with every error in the book. Diego did an excellent job diagnosing the machine in 100+ degree weather. He was meticulous and went through every possible issue. Unfortunately the damage done caused the job to drag out but Diego continued working. I had a previous technician out from another company and even though I paid for their diagnostic service it's clear that I should've gone with Integrity Comfort Systems to begin with. I highly recommend this company. Everything is inspected and documented and then very clearly explained to me so I could understand the journey we're now on. No matter how many times I asked a question Diego took the time to break it down in ways I could understand (since I am not knowledgable in HVAC anything). No Mansplaining.. simply removing jargon and explaining step by step so anyone could follow. Seriously...Great job. My review from 5 months ago: I had ANOTHER HVAC issue but in my main house (HVAC is likely more than 20 years old) and Troy was sent out to take a look at what turned out to be a very dangerous situation. He was meticulous in documenting and clearly explained everything that was needed and why each thing was important for a SAFE operating system. I tend to only have catastrophic issues with units that either came with the house and are veeery old or something crazy like working with terrible contractors with bad installation and bad intentions causing MAJOR critical failures.... Nonetheless, Integrity worked with me providing a detailed estimate prioritizing what I could handle first. Review from the past 2 months: In addtion to those two experiences I had the pleasure of leaning on Chris for support in documenting the repair done on that AC unit damaged by the previous contractors. Chris was calm, cool, collected and incredibly thoughtful. He really worked with me to make sure we could clearly explain why certain repairs were absolutely necessary. Without Chris I would've been fully taken advantage of by those scam contractors. He didn't have to make himself that available to me but he truly went out of his way to make sure his customer was taken care of. It's very rare these days to find honest thoughtful people. When companies can get away with mistreating and scamming customers, greed seems to lead the way. Not with Integrity Comfort Systems - I mean, come on, Integrity is in the company name, and for good reason!!! And I must not forget to mention Julie. Julie handled all of my calls to the company to schedule repairs and help connect me with Chris to sort out the issues I had prior to working with them. There had been some stressful moments for me and she was always so helpful in guiding me to the right person. She always answered the phone, was always polite and easy to talk to, was loyal to the best interest of the client and I truly felt like she cared. Again RARE these days. Thank you so much, Julie! Chris, Julie and all their techs step up and really make sure the right thing is being done. I feel deeply indebted to all of them and they helped restore my faith in humanity. As a single woman on one moderate income dealing with the nightmares that come with homeownership and failing machines I really really needed this. I can't ever thank them enough and I could not recommend them more! All this from an HVAC company??? Yeah, I know... in 2026 when the world seems to be falling apart... these guys will make sure to take care of you. 5 stars isn't enough.

They were highly recommended to me by several people and now it is my pleasure to recommend them to you! This company is the most interactive communicative company I have ever worked with. They stay connected and that keeps us, the consumers, connected to them. My time actually seemed important to them. How many companies can you say that about? From meet and greet, to helping me make big decisions in getting my project permit ready, this company didn't disappoint.

The last time I had Air Works out I became exhausted with the upsell. They want you to sign a contract et. I told them several times I was not interested and they continued to rave about the benefits etc. I will not call them again even though their work and knowledge is excellent, it's not worth the aggravation.
