This spot is a must!! The 3 month wait for your reservation is worth it, I promise. It's an amazing experience! The chef flies fish in from Japan every week. You sit at the bar get to watch them prepare everything in front of you. The inside is small but so cozy. The drinks are so good!! Would highly highly recommend the Japanese cold noodle. It's incredible. Also you have to try some sake. Now this meal is not going to have you feeling stuffed by the end, so you may want to consider some apps prior, but like I said, it's an experience and it is worth it!!

Worth the wait! I waited months for this reservation to come around and had such a wonderful evening at 1033 Omakase. My whole group loved every bite of food, and the ambiance made the whole experience extra luxurious. While the chefs set the menu, you must try the Japanese Cold Noodle Cocktail! We also enjoyed their versions of an espresso martini and whiskey sour. The staff was so sweet and even surprised my friend with a birthday card. I'd love to go back for a special night out!

Like many others, we were so excited to finally get to try 1033 omakase and the experience was definitely worth the wait! Our reservation was at 5 pm and we got there a bit early, which I recommend! You can grab a cocktail while you wait for the chefs to be ready for you to be seated. Each course was absolutely delicious and unique, and the servers were beyond kind, attentive, and helpful. Our server recommended the Japanese cold noodle cocktail and it was so tasty and refreshing. I definitely recommend it!! I really appreciated how every detail of the experience was clearly well thought out and planned for. The space is very unique and I especially loved the 90s-2000s music.

Had been dying to check out 1033 Omakase as soon as I heard about it! Finally got in this June and it lived up to and surpassed expectations! The cocktails were delightful and unique, the fish was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the music was jamming! Loved being able to watch the chefs prepare each course in the open counter style seating! Chef Ray answered all of our crazy questions and was a joy to dine with! Absolutely loved this experience and already booked another reservation for September! Can't wait!

One of my favorite dining experiences I've ever had! This place is a hot commodity. When the reservations come out (~2 months in advance), they go quickly!! You can also sign up to notify you if someone cancels which we luckily were able to get. And on my birthday! It's a very small place with ~10 people per reservation slot which makes for an intimate experience. All the seats surround the chef making each plate which was a fun experience to watch, and then explains each dish as he serves it. Every day except Tuesdays is a 14 course meal, on Tuesday is a 10 course meal. Every dish was carefully and thoughtfully created with an incredible palate. He said they change the menu often so even if you were to dine again, the menu changes seasonally or based on whats available. The drinks were also incredible including unique drinks such as the Japanese Noodle. Highly highly recommend this place!!

While it was very hard to get a reservation, 1033 was worth the wait! The price will be the only thing that holds us back from coming regularly, but the experience is definitely worth doing at least once. The chef was very knowledgeable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The sushi itself was amazing, our favorites were the fatty tuna and the black cod. The vibe inside is perfect for omakase!

I'm not normally a huge fan of fish or sushi, but I have to say that everything was SO good at 1033 Omakase. It's hard to get a reservation here, but stay on top of it if you want to come, it was very worth it. The restaurant seats 10 people for the tasting menu. We had 14 courses which included 1 salad, several tuna, salmon, black cod, sea urchin, jack, wagyu, etc (1 piece per course). Everything was fantastic! The black cod was one of my favorite things I've ever eaten. We loved the intimate experience, we loved the food and drinks and I would love to come back again for a new experience.

Incredible experience at my first visit to 1033 Omakase. They served the Classic tasting menu last night with 10 courses. Each course is bite-sized, but you could take 2 small bites, I just think that gets tricky as it could come apart, so just eat as one bite, but savor it. Their typical tasting menu, served most nights, is their 14 course Supreme tasting menu. I'm doing that on my next visit. The space is beautiful, very upscale and classy! It seats 10 people at the Omakase bar, which explains the long waits to get a reservation, but there are seats along the walls where guests can lounge with a drink while they wait to be seated. It was a fun experience to watch the chef prepare each course, and each chef prepared 5 servings, for the 5 guests at their half of the bar. I ordered a sake flight, with recommendations from Alex. The Rising Dragon and Soul of Sensei were my favorite of the three in my flight, but the Blue Hue grew on me after I sipped following a bite of the dishes. All three ended up pairing well with the courses. Service from Alex and Rose was excellent, and I highly recommend the experience. I think the Classic menu is ideal for smaller to average appetites. I suggest the Supreme tasting for larger appetites.

1033 is the best seat in town without question! It's probably the closest thing (aside from Odd Duck and Lupi Iris) that I would consider Michelin level. The vibe was right! The music hit! The staff were nice! The food was A tier! There were a ton of cool surprises! I was surprisingly full. My photos and pictures really show what it was like, but don't ruin the surprise! Go in with zero expectations!

Best sushi experience in Milwaukee. I'd say it's about time we had omakase however with all my travels most cities that have a place are few and far between. If you want to go - plan ahead. I made my reservations 2-3 months in advanced. They only seat 10 people per seating time. The fish selection was fantastic. The flavors are seasonal. If you get a chance to go don't miss the opportunity.

    Careful preparation.

The food, the presentation, and the experience are outstanding! I loved everything about it and highly recommend it to others. I had some appetizers at an another bar before going otherwise I think I might've left a little hungry (my only complaint).

The FIRST and ONLY Omakase dining in Milwaukee. This is authentic quality Omakase . I don't believe this has ever neen done in Milwaukee before. You just really have to try it! The umami in evey dish is on point, ingredients are fresh and perfectly executed by the amazing chef! Their sake selections are legitimate!! Milwaukee, you're on to something....

1033 omakase was such a wonderful experience. We went a few weeks back and had such a great time. I will say upfront the price point is pretty hefty but the experience, food, and drinks were on point. The sushi was very fresh and extremely well crafted right in front of you. Both chefs and staff create a really fun and upbeat ambiance that encourages conversation throughout the meal. The serving staff is also very attentive to your needs throughout the night. Although it was almost impossible to get a reservation, it was well worth the wait.

From visit on: 2/8/26 - late review!…read more My date and I were so excited to try the Eggs Benedict flight. We had reservations for Sunday at 11. Our server was very kind, great atmosphere in the place as well. We ordered a side of the potatoes and they came out nice and hot. Unfortunately, both of our Eggs Benedict flights were lukewarm at best, from the first bite. My date made a comment to the server and she offered to reheat. We initially declined but within a minute changed our mind. Our server was understanding and quickly brought over an extra flight (which I saw her bring from the heating lamps). This plate was also the same temperature. I really don't like to leave neutral or negative reviews, but it's unfortunate to spend money and have a less than par experience on the food we were looking forward to eating. We did take a small box to go and the crab cake heated up later was very delicious, but just not the same as if we had been given a hot meal to start at the restaurant. I've eaten here for dinner and was super impressed with the serving size, but I don't think I'd come back for brunch.

Had a bad day yesterday so today... Noodles! Not much can cure a case of the blues like a hot pile of steaming noodles. Ok, maybe some soup dumplings can top the noodles. On our way out to Seven Bridges for a quick walk outside, we stopped in here and fell in love. The 5 spice old fashioned and the apricot whisky sour were both phenomenal in their own unique ways. Then came the soup dumplings. Yum! Steaming hot and a project to eat properly, they are worth the efforts. We ordered the Tom Yum and spicy Korean noodles. The spice on the noodles was mild but it does build on your palette the longer that you eat. The beef was perfectly tender. The soup was wonderfully lemon-grassy and full of flavor. The ladies that sat next to us just ordered a table full of dumplings. I think that's my plan for next time. May it be soon.
