    Blackened Haddock w/FFs

We have been here a few times now and we have always been very happy with our meal. The food is very tasty and amazing. The atmosphere is laid back, but can also be a romantic place to go. The service has always been great! They offer high tops, booths, tables or bar seating. They have a specials board upon walking in, so check that out. Their menu isn't huge, but definitely a good variety so everyone can find something to eat. One photo I forgot to take, was their Irish Nachos, made with potato skins and we had it with pulled pork - now that was sooo good! Definitely an item to try out if you're thinking of an appetizer. Now with that being said, my husband didn't care for the pork being on the sweet side, where I did like it sweet, so good to know for those that like sweet or not sweet. We were going to order their onion rings, as we tried them before and they're homemade, not frozen, but we wanted to try something different. They have a full bar with a TV and an accessible handicap ramp, located on the front of the building. We have tried the prime rib and 104 Main Burger before and both were awesome. Also, I don't like brussel sprouts and the waitress said, "Trust me, the chef knows how to make anyone love brussel sprouts, because he knows how to cook them." Even she wasn't a brussel sprout fan - and yes, she was correct. They were amazing. If you're ever in Topsham, looking for a place to eat, stop in and give them a try!

    Grilled haddock burger and fries.

My mom, sister and I had lunch here. We started with bacon mussels, which were very flavorful and had nice crusty bread for soaking up the broth. Chew carefully, however. They were a little gritty and you could easily break a tooth. A few of them weren't open (do not eat those!), so they brought us out a few more. I enjoyed the hummus plate. The haddock burger, fries, and hamburger were delicious. We shared the creme brûlée - ‍. Overall a lovely experience - worth a trip to Topsham.

Quick service for our party of nine. We ordered several burgers, pizzas, fried pickles. All were expertly prepared, tasty. They have the Downeast peach mango cider and a MTA lager. Fun evening made special by attentive waitstaff.

Wear a sweater when you come here so you don't get as cold as the food. The family and I decided to try a new burger place- although only two of us had burgers. Two others had hot dogs and one had grilled cheese sandwich. The burgers were tasty, yet inconsistently cooked throughout the patties- I had medium rare and there were parts that were very rare. The fries all around were seasoned nicely, but could have used an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. Onion rings were good, but maybe seasoned a bit too much- they also went cold quickly. Kids disliked the hot dogs because the bread served with them was large in size, and one said the hot dog was cold.

The thickest delicious burger w/ bacon jam!

Way better than your average bar food, & the service is phenomenal. Everyone is so nice that you want to make it your local spot. * Burger: super thick & is a flavor bomb (it has bacon jam!) * Onion rings: super light batter, the right amount of onion, not greasy * Salads: house made dressings make all the difference...the white balsamic vinaigrette! * Fried chicken banh mi sandwich: so delicious * Wings: simply fried w/ no batter, perfect amount of sauce & not goopy (the ranch even has fresh herbs!) * Ahi tuna sashimi appetizer: delicious sauce & very fresh This is our go-to, especially because it's the rare place open on Mondays. Their specials means you'll always have something to try.

    Blueberry chipotle wings

My second review of this place, a couple years apart. Still 5 stars. The wings were okay - we had a blueberry chipotle but the nachos are to die for. Love that the game is always on and they serve my favorite beer (Thirsty Botanist). Waitress was nicer. Food was served quickly.

Steak and beer cheese with potato salad

Stopped here on a whim for lunch on a Tueaday when driving down I95 cause we were tired of Panera Bread. Atmosphere: What's up with all the family photos? I felt like I was eating in someone's house, so weird. The window seating was cool but they definitely need a good washing. The hightop seats are COMFY AS HELL. One of the most comfortable bar seats my butt has had the pleasure of sitting in. Food: Haddock chowder was one of the best I have ever tasted. Steak and cheese came out piping hot with SO. MUCH. MEAT. Like seriously, how do you make money off this? It was jam packed with meat, onions, mushrooms, and peppers. The beer cheese was ok, I wish I had gotten it with American cheese instead or maybe just got more beer cheese. Regardless, it was not enough cheese to meat/bread and when I think of a steak and cheese I want melty cheese not a steak sandwich with some cheese. This was the reason for not being 5 stars. My sandwich came with potato salad which was ok, nothing too exciting. My BF got a side salad with ranch with his steak and cheese and holy heck that was the best ranch dressing I've ever tasted. I put some on my sandwich and it was AMAZING. The dill in the dressing was the star of the show. I assume it was homemade because I've never had ranch that good before. Owners, if you're reading this...Hear me out.... what if you guys made a Ranch Potato Salad and used the ranch in your potato salad? I bet that would be a game changer. Cost: Not bad for what we got. I spent a little over $50 including tip for a soup, two steak and cheeses, and one salad upgrade. Pro: Great food Good value Comfortable seats Drown everything in ranch Con: Atmosphere... it's disjointed. I get it must be a family place but it's like 4 distinct areas in there and they don't flow well together (Windows, bar, intimate seating next to host stand, and weird family photo section)

We ate here today for the first time! It was excellent! Great atmosphere and wonderful service and the food was fantastic. Definitely recommend you should come check these folks out. Also, my wife is GF and they have a great menu to meet those needs. We will be back for sure!

    Strawberry Vodka Lemonade
    Wanda H.

I'm thinkin' the Strawberry Vodka Lemonade cocktails were the best part of the meal, but that may be cuz I had TWO. NOM! My Blackened Salmon Tacos were delish, but the coleslaw was not outstanding. It WAS vinegar based, which I appreciate, but just NOT a lot of flavor. The leftovers are STILL in my fridge. Hubby had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which parts of may, or may not have, made it into my mouth. Very good. Leftovers of that, all GONE. So, there you have it folks. Our waitress was excellent. Prices were high, but ain't that everywhere? My arm could be twisted to come back here, if I were in the area...

Fish & Mashed and a Pork Belly Apple pizza
    Sue L.

We finally tried here and it was OK. The staff was great. The decor a bit sparse. The fish was good, the mashed potatoes cooled off before I finished the fish. I would go back for the coleslaw! Fresh, creamy, and just a hint of dill. My husband's pizza was very overcooked, though not burned. I had forgotten that he didn't care for pork belly, so it was not his favorite (not the restaurant's fault). The meal, like all food these days, was overpriced. We probably won't bother going again.

The dog wants to come inside because it knows it gets treats here. The dog owners say they don't have time to stop in today and tell the bartender they will see her on Friday. The drinks are tall. Check the photos. Exactly what you would expect at place like this. The service is excellent. Everyone helping each other out. Taking care of the customers. The bathrooms are downstairs in the basement. There are a restaurant couple rooms in the basement...looks like great rooms to host private dinner parties. I noticed they were proofing the dough on big trays set out on the restaurant tables. The dough looked amazing. So puffy, so fluffy. I knew we had to try the pizza the minute I saw that dough! We ordered the Speck-tacular pizza which has roasted mushrooms, prosciutto, arugula, Gruyere and mozzarella, plus a few other perfectly paired ingredients on thin charred pizza crust. It is so good!!!! We also tried a pepperoni pizza, also fantastic. Same dough, red sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni. So basic and so tasty! The wood fired oven makes a difference. We also tried the signature wings, bone in. It sounds a little different....sweet chili sauce and bacon bits? It is fantastic! Real bacons bits atop a perfectly fried chicken wing drenched in a sweet chili sauce. We also had to try the Sicily pizza which has a thick (not thin) crust with pepperoni. It was similar but quite different from the thin crust pepperoni pizza. I loved both versions. We brought it all home and had a lot of leftovers...which we happily ate for a couple days. Lastly, all restaurants and bars and coffee shops should have this! In the women's room, a shelf to put your phone, wallet, small purse, and a spot to hold paper towels. Very handy! I didn't complain, but I prefer flats so that was just really disappointing, and the wings were okay. They were big and juicy, could have been more crispy for my preference. My waitress was really nice and attentive. There was plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice patio outside and there was a bar inside as well. The pizza looked great and I would try that next time.

Service has always been consistently great. Friendly, prompt, detail oriented and caring about our experience. We have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff members. They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. They have the ability to accommodate the 6 of us with ease on the times we have gone. This is definitely one of the core options when we are in town. Great for our whole family.

I took my wife and daughters here for cocktails to celebrate the holiday weekend. Despite a restaurant/bar that was fairly empty, it was impossible to get any member of the staff to acknowledge we were there. Once served, the drinks were excellent but it would be a very long time before anyone returned. Despite all four of us sitting with empty glasses for at least 20 minutes, the bartender and other wait staff or employees walked by us without even making eye contact. It almost became comical how we were being ignored. It didn't even seem like they were understaffed since we saw quite a few employees walking around endlessly but not seeming to accomplish anything... especially since the establishment was basically empty by the end. The final straw was when a lady who appeared to be an owner or manager arrived behind the bar. She walked by our empty drinks to have the bartender pour her a large shot of tequila (?) with a lime and down it in front of us and then proceed to chat with other employees who were doing nothing. When we finally paid our check and got up to leave, she looked at us and said something like, "thanks for coming, have a nice night!" Truly baffling. I have heard the food is good but I am having a hard time thinking of why I would put myself through that experience again.
