    Chicken bomb with chips
    Ellen B.

First time in and we will definitely be back! we sat at the bar on a busy Friday night because they had trivia going on. I had the chicken bomb with homemade potato chips, and my husband had chicken fingers. First off, bartender and owner were super nice and chatted with us. The sandwich was very good with crispy bread. The chips were amazing! Would love it if they also would do them with a barbecue or ranch seasoning. I've heard their pizza is really good, and I can't wait to go back and try it. I love that they do trivia and different entertainment options. This is such a hidden gem neighborhood spot in Portland with parking! It's not a big space, so if you go on a night with trivia, make sure you get there early. I believe if you followed them on Facebook, it will give the schedule of things going on.

Hallway sign - yes I know I should've taken a picture of my plate or the bar...

First time in, simple and very friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant. They had a trivia night going that everyone was super engaged with. I wasn't that hungry so I just ordered an appetizer of boneless tenders sitting at the bar & a beer. You could tell the weight staff and bartender appreciated everyone that came through thanking for the business. What I enjoyed was on a busy Friday night, we could actually get seated after a brief wait

    Chicken Marsala

Good place to go for some pasta, brews, and lobster. The Chicken Marsala was fantastic and recommended by the staff. They didn't have to-go silverware, which made for interesting dining when I got back to my hotel.

This is in a great location in Portland where you don't have to battle too much traffic and it has its own parking lot, so no meters or street parking to deal with. My review is based on two separate visits: once for lunch, and once for dinner. Neither of the times that I've stopped in have been too busy and both were on a weekend. There's a lot of big screen TVs for you to enjoy whatever sporting event you may want to watch. There's also a nice outdoor seating area. While the chicken sandwich was not that exciting-- it was literally chicken tenders in a sub roll-- I've thought. all the other food was good. I'd say their wheelhouse is more the pizza/pizza roll/calzone zone. I especially loved the wings that had a nice crunchy coating underneath the sauce. I'm really surprised nobody else has hopped on to review this place yet. I'm hoping my written testament will drum up some awareness that it's around and people will stop in.

The saddest order of fried pickle chips known to humankind. That was 9 dollars by the way.

Pub food excellent & live music was fun. My only complaint is it is a pretty small place.

It's unique and it's simple -- but the flavors created are something to keep coming back for. In my most recent visit, we had a pretty bad experience leading up to the pizzas actually being served. We had some friends visiting and decided to go to grab pizza after sending a small group back to the mainland on the 6 o'clock boat. Our order must have been placed maybe 5 or 10 minutes after 6... we weren't served our first pizza until after 8 PM. And our second pizza lagged behind that one by nearly 10 minutes. I can understand how, taken out of context, this can be seen as a petty complaint. However, it really was a discouraging experience because we had multiple (at least half a dozen) other groups order well after us and enjoy their entire dining experience all around us. The group ordering behind us enjoyed their pizzas, bottles of wine and chit chatted for nearly a half hour after their indulgences... and still rode off in their golf cart before our pizzas even made it into the oven. The part that really baffled me was that we took the opportunity to speak with the staff about what was causing the delay -- simply asking if our pizza order had been started or not yet and the explanation was "our team has made several mistakes this evening and we don't have a good estimate on how long it'll take for your pizzas to be ready". We got the same explanation after waiting for 45 minutes and again after nearly an hour and a half. It seemed like a pretty inadequate answer when their wood-fired oven was often not full of cooking pizzas and their entire staff was dancing to the music playing on their speakers. In the end... the pizza was good (same quality as expected). But my experience left something to be seriously desired.

My friend and I decided to split a pizza and it was a good sharing size. We got the burrata and it was delicious! The cashier told us it would be about 45 and I think it was a bit less than that but expect a bit of a wait on a busy weekend. The crust is super thin and floppy but good texture and taste! The sauce was flavorful and the burrata was perfect.

I do wish I would have returned sooner and/or may need to come back one more time before they close. Street parking nearby was easy enough to find. Walking in mid day on Saturday it wasn't too busy so after a short wait we were sat down. Which then lead to the biggest negative of our experience which was waiting for being greeted and also orders being taken. Granted our server did apologize and thank us for our patience. We started off with a cocktail I had the California Sour (had a good bourbon kick) and my wife had the Pineapple Rum Punch and enjoyed it. I enjoyed their rotating speciality pizza that was a Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was delicious top notch pizza. My wife got the Fried Chicken Vodka Parm Sandwich and the chicken was cooked to perfection! We also tried their appetizer of Scrappy Fries and it was a perfect app for our table to share and the meat scraps stood and had so much flavor to it. Every thing we had today was phenomenal and wish we had come here sooner!

The restaurant was very busy with pizza orders and pickups when we walked in - we were appropriately warned about the longer wait times and were okay with that.
