The platter was huge and delicious: the snow crab legs and the crabs were absolutely delicious, the mussels were great, the shrimp were great and the clams were okay, they didn't have a lot of flavor. The sides, cole slaw and hush puppies, were very good. For drinks we got a Yuengling, a Modelo, and a pink lemonade, all good. For dessert we could't order anything because we were SO FULL, but they have a peanut butter pie in the menu that I hope to try if we are ever back in Thurmont! Kids had the cheeseburger, friends had the sampler (it was ok), and another had soup that was yummy! For anyone stuck taking a class there for a week or two, this is a great place to gather with your classmates and network with those from other classes and public safety agencies. They have free popcorn available while you're drinking, and a few games to play (video/arcade and pool). Multiple TV options let you watch whatever sporting event is on at the time. The only important thing to know is that the food options they have are limited, and are various frozen/refrigerated options that you microwave yourself.
