So OK, of all the crab houses we visited so far, back from years ago, this one is the best! This beat my favorite crab house in Baltimore. I say this because of the maintenance of the juiciness of the crab meat. Most crabhouses can't maintain the juice of the crab once they boil them. It was too long on the fire or whatever they did with it. However, this Rube's Crab keeps the juice of the crab, so once they hit the table, I got the best crab! McKenzie was our waitress for this evening. She's quick and excellent! We ordered 6 jumbo crabs. The seasoning was incredible, although I know crab houses use old bays. The way they seasoned it, maybe they used music or something, the presentation was terrific, and the crabs were huge and fresh! Nice casual crab house and crowded!

Found this place on my way home from Pennsylvania. What a treasure. This place was packed with people eating all-you-can eat crabs, but I arrived early enough that they could squeeze me, my husband, and dog at a picnic table outside. Our server, Gabby, was really friendly and funny! We shared the soft shell crab dinner (which she kindly split for us). They were the biggest soft shells I've ever seen. Outside tables were comfortable and there was a great fenced in area where we could air out our dog before we finished the drive home. Will definitely try to swing through here on my next drive down 15 South.

Nice, casual atmosphere; loud music, 6' folding tables and cheap but comfortable chairs. The place was full on Friday night. First we had the steamed shrimp with Old Bay, peel-and-eat. Very good & juicy. Then I got a dozen raw oysters and the AYCE (all you care to eat) soup and salad bar. I had 2 cups of Maryland crab soup and a small side salad, the salad bar has a great selection of veggies and even boiled egg and pepperoni. I also had the soup of the day, a sweet-spicy chili that was really nice. The crab soup was good. The oysters were hit-and-miss...some were plump and juicy, others were thin and tiny. Overall satisfying. Next time I'll have crab, which is what most folks come here for anyway.

The service was great and so was the food. Definitely need a reservation because it gets packed and full really quickly. The parking lot gets full as well so it's better to car pull there if you can.

Rube' s crab shack in Emmitsburg, Maryland is a down-home country in the middle of nowhere seafood restaurant but do not let remote location fool you. Fresh seafood is deliver daily. Order yourself unlimited amount of spicy Maryland crabs, plenty of paprika and spicy flavors. Bring a bib to wear on your clothes for sloppy eating but delicious. The interior is mostly filled with local people and you can enjoy live music on the weekends Come one or come all, bring family and friends.

All you can eat crabs, fried oysters and shrimp.

Excellent value. We went on a Thursday so all you can eat crabs were about 39.99 per person. Didn't really go for anything else but the party I was with had fried oysters and another had all you can eat shrimp which were cooked to his liking each time. Service was great. The only discrepancy was that the hours listed online are different than the hours stated when seated. Looking forward to going back.

The drinks were affordable and strong, which was a definite plus. However, my main issue with The Lodge is the seating situation near the stage. If you're sitting in front, be prepared for people to stand directly in front of you during the drag show. I would've preferred if the drag queens, owner, or even security had stepped in to ask them to move. It was frustrating to have 6-foot-tall, 300-pound women completely block our view--especially after paying $18 per ticket. Also, watch out for this one wild white lady in a black shirt and floral shorts who acts invisible and blocks multiple people. If you ask her politely to move, she'll argue with you and even try to escalate things by telling you to "step outside" like she's about that life. Overall, for our first drag show, we had fun--but if you're going to enjoy the performance, be ready to be annoyed because no one there is enforcing basic courtesy or crowd control. The lounge is on the smaller side, which actually worked well for the event and gave it an intimate vibe. The owner was also very nice and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The menu is extremely limited, and you pretty much have to piece together a meal from a few items. I ordered the jollof rice and six-piece chicken wings. The wings were overpriced, overcooked, and had no flavor at all. The only options were sauces on the side (honey, ranch, or blue cheese), and when I specifically asked for honey drizzled on top with blue cheese on the side, that request wasn't followed. Even more frustrating, our server never came back to check on us or make sure everything was okay. The jollof rice was honestly the worst part. Instead of that rich, smoky flavor you'd expect, it tasted burnt with a harsh charcoal aftertaste. I've had jollof rice many times before, and this was nowhere close. I ended up sending it back. Because I was hungry, I forced myself to eat the wings, even though they were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, Myste Lounge has a nice look and potential, but the food and service really need improvement. A revamped menu and better attention to guests would make a huge difference.

Hookah was smooth and the atmosphere was laid back. They do sell food, but we didn't try it this time. My only downside is the drink menu, it's mostly wine and champagne but overall it's a place I could see myself frequenting.

This restaurant is located in Fairfield, PA. They need to update the address on their website. We were directed to 989 Track Rd. but the actual address is 2789 Track Rd. I don't have any explanation for this discrepancy. This is a very casual place; the dining area is open to the bar, which I don't particularly care for, but it was clean. There is also a covered deck outside where you can sit and have your meal as well. The plastic bucket in the middle of the table was meant to be the communal waste can for discarded crab shells, shrimp skins, paper trash, etc. I guess it was a handy thing to have if you're eating crabs but kind of disgusting if you're not. I'd prefer NOT to have to look at the discarded remains of my fellow dining partners meals. My girlfriend and I each ordered wine; she a White Zinfandel and for myself a Pinot Grigio. Both were such an inexpensive version and so sickeningly sweet that we both winced when we took a sip. Hubby was happy with his Stella on tap. It's more of a beer place. My friend and I split an appetizer of peel and eat shrimp. They really were delicious and were more than just Old Bay Seafood seasoning; there was just something that made them really tasty. I tried one of her hush puppies and it was probably the best hush puppy I've ever eaten. My Crab Imperial was OK. It wasn't creamy. It was kind of chunky which was a little bit offputting. I'm not sure what type of crab was used‍The baked potato was way overcooked and had so much butter on it that I couldn't taste the potato. It was just a mushy greasy mess. Our salads came in such small plastic bowls that mine tipped over the first time I put my fork inside. My hubby's fish was outstanding and my girlfriend's husband gobbled up his dinner, so I'm assuming it was really good as well. Overall, it was ok ... I didn't feel it lived up to all the good reviews that it has gotten.
