I live this place! Its a bit of a drive so im not here often but i do co.e when my favorite band is playing! I also take advantage and make sure to have dinner here before the show because they have amazing food. Our server last night was awesome! My sister and I tried the Bourbon Street 115 Restaurant and ordered their Chicken Pot Pie. It was simply delicious, with a generous serving of gravy, chunks of chicken, and veggies. You can order a side salad for $3.00 extra, well worth it for a Caesar Salad. Even though it was lunchtime, we had no problem being seated and served promptly. Probably one of the worst food experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Smash burger was awful, the patty's looked like hockey pucks, the grilled onions had an extremely peppery flavor and the bun was way over toasted probably to cover up that the bread was stale. Came here around 9pm on Bourbon Street and was immediately told by the bartender that we couldn't sit at the bar. What made it frustrating was that nearly an hour later (around 9:55pm), there were still open seats and multiple people sitting down and enjoying drinks with no issue. The initial interaction felt unnecessarily rude and honestly made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. However, once we were finally able to sit down, our server was polite and amazing -- super attentive and friendly, which really helped turn the experience around a bit. Customer service and consistency matter, especially in a busy area where people are just trying to enjoy their night. The contrast between the bartender and our server was noticeable. This is such a unassuming large venue located in a plaza. Depending on the time of night parking is decent since it is in a plaza. Most spaces near it be mindful you can't park until after 10pm or risk getting towed. We went early and had dinner there. No cover charge before 9pm. We went to see a 90s band and grabbed a table right up front. Our server was nice, we had nachos for an appetizer and I ordered chicken Caesar wrap for my main. The food portion was huge and price was affordable. There are four main areas. There was like a dance club in one area, and outside bar and stage and then two more event spaces. Wow. I hadn't been to Bourbon Street in probably 20 years. I went a few times in the early years but never felt compelled to return. It's usually always crowded, and the food isn't anything to rave over. Today, I was reminded as to why I haven't bothered to visit in twenty years. I met my brother there since we both happened to be in the area. It was around 3pm but parking was already scarce, which was a bit surprising given the time of day. Bourbon St. blocks so many of the parking spaces off for valet that it makes parking very difficult. That was a bit annoying, but after a few minutes, we found a spot. We walked into a restaurant that was fairly empty. There were patrons, but the restaurant is so big and spread out that it's easy to assume that the head count is minimal. The hostess seated us immediately, and our waitress came over to greet us shortly thereafter. I don't recall her name, but she was petite with light blondish/reddish hair. We all had cream of chicken soup, which was pretty good. My brother thought it was a little too thick, but we all enjoyed it. He had the chicken tenders with habanero sauce. He thought the tenders were cooked to protection and really enjoyed them with the habanero sauce. I had a plain burger with lettuce and tomato. The beef seemed to be high quality, but I didn't like the seasonings they used while preparing it. It was too overpowering. I don't know if the cook used too much seasoning or what, but it's the only thing I tasted every time I took a bite. As a result, I only ate about 1/4 of it. The fries were okay but nothing spectacular. My sister had a club sandwich, which she didn't really enjoy. She had one quarter of it and started picking at it. She said it wasn't very good. The ambiance was nice though and our waitress was friendly. My brother also had a jalapeño margarita, which he said was decent. If you're looking for something fun and/or random to do on a Saturday night, this could potentially be your place. This place is Mardi Gras themed and honestly, it's very unique. It's one big space that holds a bier garden, restaurant, live band stage, a club and then I believe there's another room where you can host events. I've never really seen or been anywhere like this, so I really enjoyed my time. Our waitress was really attentive and sweet, it was an upbeat atmosphere and it was just something different. There were all different types of people and music which is what I think makes it so unique. They also have "themed" events every so often and do stuff around specific Holidays. The food is actually really good for "bar food." I had the steak quesadilla and the steak was cooked perfectly, the portion size was huge and it didn't taste like it came out of the freezer. I actually enjoyed it. For drinks, I just had watermelon white claws (basic lol) and we all know how those are. I'm definitely interested in coming back when they have a few themed nights. This past Saturday went with a group of friends to check out our favorite disco band "Disco Circus" with a show starting at 9pm. After the band started a family of four adults and 4 children made their way to the dancefloor and basically turned it into a kids gym jamboree. The parents allowed the kids to take up the entire floor with cartwheels, and tumbling and jumping and running around for the next 40 minutes, basically ruining the vibe for everyone else who was there to see the band and dance. Costume Contest 100% Rigged. I participated in the costume contest last night and first of all they almost didn't let me enter even though there was no where on the flyer to let us know when we could no longer enter. Last week it was 11:30 so I assumed it was the same but everyone had an attitude with me when I went to enter at 11:05. And then the judging was based off of crowd cheer. My costume and the little shop of horrors plant had 10x more crowd reaction than some of the people who made top five. They also let people who weren't even in top 12 be in top 5, completely unfair! I was so shocked. I spent over 20 hours creating my costume and I didn't even place. Multiple people came up to me after the fact and were completely dumbfounded. There's absolutely no way I didn't even place. The judges need to get their ears checked, totally disappointed. It's a nice bar but this really rubbed me the wrong way. read more

I am happy to say I ate on Mardi Gras at 115 Bourbon street, and I'm apparently one of the few people who did! (So sorry Nichole). We didn't make reservations either but I put my name and number on a waiting list for a call that never came. We made our way to the frozen back of the place (yeesh this place is 'yuuuuge'!) where the noise level was more reasonable, it was way less crowded but there were kids and a bounce house. There were tvs around but they had on hours-old baseball games. We were gonna order just drinks and wait but 2 nice ladies left and we got there seats. We ended up eating at the bar. The hostess told us the kitchen was closed for 20 minutes and it's backed up. We ordered hurricanes and a delish strawberry lager. We were given menus and placed orders. It took a long while, and our alligator bites came WITH the entrees but in retrospect it's not as bad as some others had it. The gumbo was good (not like Heaven on 7, sorry folks) but still good. Wish they had cornbread. The alligator bites were chewy but tasty and that sauce was slamming! We split the special pasta with andouille and chicken in a creamy sauce. It was awesome! We walked around a little (with scarves on) to take in the place. There were slot machines, a band, costumes, a very fun vibe. The bartenders/waitresses in our area were straight up grace-under-fire. They were attentive all night; when we asked for dessert, THAT'S when they told us the kitchen closed 2 hours ago (it was almost 10pm I think) and we were 'lucky' we got food! They were not expecting so many people! How does that happen with a placed named after a street in N'awlins??? We took Uber going/coming so we can't speak to the valet nightmare. I'd give half a star if I could, honestly super disappointing. I've been to this establishment many times and typically always have a good experience, this time we decided to go for lunch (usually an evening attendee) and it was a train wreck. Our server acted like she didn't give a single shit about anyone at the table, constantly acting impatient when she was actually helping us, which was rare. She never checked back to see how the food was after it got delivered, and it took right at 15 minutes to get a drink refill. The food came out promptly but unfortunately this was disappointing as well. The wrap that I had got wet lettuce put in it and once they added the buffalo and ranch for the wrap it just turned into a soggy, sloppy mess. We ordered 9 items, all but 2 were either disgusting or undercooked. One of the burgers had to go back because it was undercooked and still was once we got served a new one. Honestly, the ambiance would have made up for the atrocious food but the service was just so terrible that there's no coming back from it. I am typically a good tipper, if the service is good I will often match the price of the bill with a tip, I would have left $1 if the people at the table didn't have a conscious.
