Grab a quick lunch with my friend staying at the hotel next door. Ordered the special lunch Ginger Salmon Rice Bowl, turned out to be my absolute favorite!! The salmon bites were so flavorful. I forgot to read the retails about the sauce, which is amazing!! She ordered Fish Tacos look so yummy and she loved it. It's sucks that the place is soooo slow, only 2-3 tables when we're there around 12:30pm. We got full attention from the server! We were seated quickly and have to say we had low expectations. It's a hotel bro bar kinda place. But.... Service was outstanding. We were very well taken care of. We ordered the La Mirada Benedict and the breakfast quesadilla. The Benny was 9 out of 10. The egg was poached well and The hollandaise was spot on. The quesadilla was a 10 out of 10. Yep. My family and I had the opportunity to dine at 12 Sixty Modern Pub & Kitchen at our recent trip to SoCal. It's connected to the hotel we were staying at, so we had breakfast there a couple times, in addition to ordering lunch or dinner on nights that we were too lazy to get back in the car to find a new restaurant to try. The food is, unfortunately, a hit or miss. On the first morning there, I had an eggs Benedict dish, which was delightful and seasoned well. However, their lunch/dinner and dessert options were disappointing. For the night we ordered dinner, I ordered the carne asada tacos and a fruit cobbler. Both were severely lacking in the flavor department. The asada was dry, chewy, and flavorless, even with the sauce they added. For me, the cobbler was most disappointing of all. Canned peaches and blueberries were add, which is fine, but the seasoning just wasn't there. It tasted like dry, sugarless cake. I was hoping that the peaches and blueberries would help, but they didn't. I ended up not finishing it and just throwing it away. Overall, the breakfast here was good, but unfortunately, the rest of the menu was a huge miss. The restaurant is convenient, since it's located right next to a hotel; however, outside of breakfast, I'd recommend dining elsewhere unless you are tired and don't want to drive anywhere. read more

Hello I been going back and forth about this review, we like the place, the food, love that's it's in La Mirada... But we have been there 3 different times and had such horrible service from one of the bartenders that is short with dyed red hair!!!! I have never seen such a bad personality and working with people she should not be allowed, this lady basically will make you wait, make feel you're doing her a favor, will make you beg to take your order for food. I own a successful business and my employees and go above and beyond for our customers. All I can say if we go and see her working the next time we go my wife and I are walking out instead of putting up with this bartender. They were well-versed in food allergies because two of our family members had one they were so accommodating and kind. This place was exactly what we needed. Came out for our annual youth camp and a group of us come early for a lot I mean a lot of setup. The year prior our dinner spot just didn't land well as a group. However this place blew us out of the water. Just an unexpected amazing restaurant attached to a hotel which is rarely the case. The service is always excellent. They always try to add a twist to traditional dishes that they hit or miss. For example, instead of a pastrami sandwich they offer a turkey pastrami sandwich. Just do a pastrami sandwich. Do it well. They offer a "chicken quesadilla" that comes out like a sliced burrito. When I order a quesadilla, I do so knowing what to expect. This is not that. What an unexpected find at the Holiday Inn! My mother and I needed to grab dinner before going to the theatre. We were seated immediately. Our server Juan was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The prime rib was excellent - perfectly cooked and seasoned with a special house made sauce. The asparagus and carrots were perfectly cooked and the smashed potatoes were crispy and delicious. I also had some pretzel bites with a spicy cheese dip which were soft and warm.
