Been coming here for years for their tasty beers and wonderful atmosphere. I recently met friends and family here for my birthday. Derek, the head brewer, was awesome to work with to get things set up for us. The pizza vendor, Watson's, offered a great variety of freshly baked pizza throughout the afternoon. Everyone had a great time and commented on how good the brews were. The brewery space has TVs showing local sports and cool artwork throughout. The leather rocking chairs are a must-try. We came in because friends recommended this place, the current pizza rotation was good! I think the pepperoni and jalapeño was good and the chicken pesto was good I just think the pesto sauce could've been a little less salty and more basil forward. The strawberry blondish bartender and the guy with curly hair and hat were the nicest guys, even though I wasn't too energetic as my usual self the he had a big smile the whole time we were there and made me feel welcomed. After a night out and having beers there, I overheard (because she was talking so loud) one of the beertenders talk about her support for Trump and how "no one should disrespect her president". I went here for the first time last week. Since I live in Norwalk I went with high hopes that this could be a convenient place for me to go to have a cold one with friends. I was kinda disappointed though. The biggest issue was how freaking hot it was inside. Maybe I would have enjoyed myself more at a different time...maybe Nov.-May...because there is no AC and it was not comfortable. The place looks nice inside with some different areas to sit. The staff was fine. We had about 10 beers to choose from in different styles/flavors. However, I found the beer to be served not as cold as I like it to be. Oh yeah, they don't have any food options, but the day I went there was some pizza being made in the parking lot that was decent. read more

There was beer trivia on Wednesday which was super fun! The lady was soooo nice! The energy that night was awesome. There were good beer selections but the hibiscus was my favorite. I'll definitely be telling everyone about this spot. I discovered the brewery as I exited the 5 freeway on my way home a few days ago, and I was excited to give it a try later that week. I came hoping to catch the Lakers and Spurs game, and thankfully it was being shown on a few of their TVs when I arrived. The DDH IPA was my drink of choice on this particular day, which I really enjoyed and recommend. My beer was poured perfectly by a friendly employee whose name I can't remember. The brewery had a cozy, December feel to it with its Christmas decorations adorning the place. I can't wait to return for many seasons to come. read more

They have 7 beers on tap and released a couple special ones on their opening day.The dark lager was my fave! Toasty and malty! Just how I like it! This place is new. Today was their first day , Officially. They have 7 regular beers. And 2 special beers for their grand opening. The place is small. To medium size. They also have patio seating. With 3 picnic benches for large groups. The place is very clean and the beer is good. I had a couple great ones. But it's all to the beer drinker. I had a flight so I could fast as many as I could. I really enjoyed the stunt Double. But I could drink my other ones also. I didn't try the IPA. Even though I love IPAs. I left it for the next time I come back. The place today was packed. And the lines were a bit long. Not because of the workers. The staff was working hard on pouring drinks and cleaning up tables. There was a large today working. You can see they anticipated the crowd. They must do good advertising. Like I said before a lot of customers here. And 95% of them staying long. So the beer is good. I talked to the owners dad. He told me what La Jara means. It's a rock rose brought from the Spaniards. And how this place is a family and friends Buisness. This place is not going to be a well kept secret soon. I would get here before a wait starts. Also you can park in the rear for additional parking. And easier to get out. And they have a good pizza vender out side. One last thing. I was told on the way out. That they soon will have beer to go. The process is about to start. So you take your favorite brew home with you. I soon will be back. We were visiting the area and stumbled across this brewery!! And I love me some craft beer. So we decided to stop on in. The inside is nice and spacious, and the service was perfect. On this particular day there was a BBQ vendor offer up their delicious BBQ for donations and tips only. I believe they were called the Janer family BBQ! Delicious food, and great service.
