Perfect hidden gem! Beer selection covers a good range of light, IPA and even seltzer. Trivia nights are super fun! Food wise, they have pizza and a bbq stands outside. Would recommend if you're looking for a local spot to chill and enjoy a cold one.

Chill microbrewery just off the freeway. Went for a couple drinks after work with a buddy. Veteran owned establishment - so always happy to support. Beers were pretty good - the lighter beers were spot on. Didn't get a chance to try some of their darker beers. Free popcorn also! Would come back.

Horrible customer service by the old lady bartender!! First she got mad bc we asked about the pizza then she cut off drinking bc we asked for a sticker of this stupid place! Like screw them then s he said to go somewhere else!!! Thats why no one like this kind of ppl .

Cool little brewery right off the 5 freeway, great ambience and a nice break from the heat of the road. Service was great and the beer options were plentiful. Can't wait to go back and try another one. I had the Mexican Lager Sombra and my friend and the Sombra Negra, both were delicious.

We came in because friends recommended this place, the current pizza rotation was good! I think the pepperoni and jalapeño was good and the chicken pesto was good I just think the pesto sauce could've been a little less salty and more basil forward. The strawberry blondish bartender and the guy with curly hair and hat were the nicest guys, even though I wasn't too energetic as my usual self the he had a big smile the whole time we were there and made me feel welcomed. I didn't catch their names but their service will make me come back soon!

Ordered a 4 pack of beer to go. They all tasted very good and I would definitely want to come back and have some drinks there. Lots of seating and a good ambience. Also very dog friendly. Free popcorn as well!

11/24/24 ~ Came for the live reggae, on a Sunday afternoon; go follow Mob.Gnarly band... enjoyed listening to them while throwing back a couple beers and then some bomb as, made to order pizza on site. There was a food truck in the parking lot as well. 2 separate, small parking lots, a lot of standing room outside, rocking chairs inside and more tables, tv's, spacious restrooms & friendly staff.

They have a short menu great selection Something for everyone

On the day that I went, they had a mariscos vendor that sold delicious ceviches. Note that during peak dinner hours, the wait times for pizza from Thunderbolt can be close to 30 minutes. I went with Ambitious Ale's Central Perk, which was a blonde ale with madagascar vanilla and guatemalan coffee notes, and these flavors were surprisingly present and not subtle. They had tons of unique flavor options here and I definitely would love to come back to try some cold ones with some pizza. Their fruity options were pretty popular with my work group. Their Jollibeer (inspired by the Peach and Mango pies at Jollibee) was a lager with mango and peach puree. The beers I had were crisp, full flavored, and ice cold. Perfect at the end of a work week! It's really nice that they have a nice space in the back to host a group of two or a group of twenty. This is a great pillar in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood.

We had the food delivered in 3 separate instances. In one instance the staff member delivered an order of wings. When I told him the order was incomplete, I was questioned and asked for a receipt. When I showed him the receipt, he moved to another table and removed an order of wings from other patrons and handed it to us. It is unsanitary to give food to strangers and then take it back and give it to me. I asked him if that's how they operate, giving food to others, later taking it back, and giving it to the right table. A couple of minutes later, I had gestapo managers Taylor and Christy searching for me. When I identified myself, they questioned if I had called their staff a "ret@rd." They did not let up. My friend and I were shocked. I described the situation and exactly what I said. The food being mishandled and then being falsely accused of using a slur, such a wild and awkward experience. I noticed Ambitious Ales now provides a disclaimer when ordering from Thunderbolt via QR code. Now it all makes sense. Regardless, you can't have restaurant managers coming over to your business and making wild accusations. Completely unacceptable.

It's nice that parking is accessible in the front on Bellflower Blvd. and in the back parking lots. There are areas where you can sit on stools or on picnic benches. Also several corners where there's shaded trees and a swing bench. It's nice to have the eating area in the middle of the courtyard, but I really don't like the dirt area. But I get that it's probably easier for spills to be soaked up so people don't slip and it's less maintenance. If you're a fur-parent don't worry, there's even a couple bowls from which your pet can get fresh water from their drinking fountain. Or just bring your own bowl and fill it up at the water station. It's really a pet friendly place. We brought our Shih Tzu along and saw another dog sitting on the bench. Food choices are good, you can enjoy a beer and burger, tacos, Filipino/Korean fusion, Coffee, Boba, Argentinian food. There's also a big screen which they televise sports games. Price wise it's about $15-$20 per person for a complete meal.
