I came on a Saturday night with a group of 9 at 7pm. We put our name down and walked around until our table was ready. We didn't wait too long, but by the time we were leaving around 9 there were a lot of people waiting. We were seated at the outside patio area and we had a beautiful view of the sunset. Our order was taken quickly and our drinks came out right away. We got the ice blended drinks with muscat (rice wine grape) and yogurt, both were REALLY good. These 2 were sharable and a good amount for 9 people. The food also came out quickly and everything came at the same time! My favorite is probably the stir fried pork belly, especially with the stir fried kimchi and garlic. I also really liked the rose tteokbokki. It was super creamy and had a nice kick to it. It came with rice cakes, fish cakes, 1 boiled egg, pieces of bacon, ramen noodles, and 1 sausage. Located in a newer shopping center, this restaurant is already drawing quite the crowd. As of now, parking is free, which is a huge plus. They offer valet parking at the entrance, along with additional parking around the corner. Since this place gets very busy, I'd recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. This is a great spot for large groups and celebrations. The menu is designed for family-style dining, so you can order several dishes to share with everyone at the table, or you can order an individual entrée if that's more your style. Despite the packed dining room, the service was quick and attentive. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept everything running smoothly throughout our meal. Don't drink their water here...the tea water... leftover tea water gets poured into the trash can and rescooped into previously used pitchers.. basically they would pour the leftover water in the same bucket of water and rinse the pitcher in the same bucket of water and stack them up for resuse for next customer. And their hands go inside everything. They grab the rinsed pitcher, scoop the tea water and serve it. Also mind you, the tea water is inside those huge trash cans. AND when they were transferring the ice (from again those trash bins) they would lift it to pour all the ice in to the tea water bin and you can see all the dirty drippings from the outside wheels drip inside the container.. @.@ No its not a one time thing with one employee...they all knew the drill and did it like routine. Me and my friends watched the whole thing while we were just trying to enjoy some drinks at the bar. It was so disgusting, my friends wanted to pay and leave quickly but NO theres no way im paying for the drink i only had a couple sips of and couldn't finish. It hits every time and is a perfect place to drink, yap, and grub! it can get really crowded so definitely try and get here earlier if you can: There's always plenty of things to do though since it's at The Source and there's so many shops and photobooths while you wait. The restaurant is pretty huge but it gets super loud! The screens are always playing kpop groups with music playing and its always fun to watch. For food, I've tried a lot of their menu and everything is so good and shareable. The korean fried chicken is crispy, not dry, and seasoned so well! A favorite amongst the group was the beef intestine, which I've never had before and was pretty impressed by. It was super juicy and paired well with the scallions and sauce. Another favorite of the group was the corn cheese. It was like a pizza but corn cheese. My absolute tried and true is the pork belly. We came here on a Wednesday night and it was still surprisingly popping! I was craving something soupy and my boyfriend wanted fried chicken. I ordered the gopchang hot pot and my boyfriend got fried chicken. The portion sizes are generous and we struggled to finish everything, but everything was very delicious! The perfect mix of salt on the juicy, fatty (and generous!) pork belly slices, the slightly sweet and sour kimchi, and soft, roasted garlic. If you're getting one thing on the menu, let it be this! Had a muscat iced drink to share for the table, we subbed out maekgeolli for milk for a nonalcoholic option. They also offered yogurt as a substitute! They have a ridiculous policy that seems to switch from table to table. We wanted to order a pitcher of beer but since one person in our party wasn't 21 they wouldn't allow. We used to love this place. They served good authentic Korean food, and we used to like the space. However, 3 things went wrong last night. 1. They BLASTED the music from 8:00 without any warning and the music was at a volume that basically turned the restaurant into a club, and that is not an exaggeration. My friend's apple watch notified him that there was excessive loudness that is damaging to the ear. The music went for the rest of the evening. We could not enjoy a single conversation after that. 2. The song selections were very sexually explicit and we did not enjoy that at all. 3. The service was subpar. They used to be great, but the servers were cold and disengaged. We asked for the check twice, and he just gave me a paper receipt without a plate or a book which every single restaurant uses when they give you the check. They did not bother to ask us if we needed any more water or tea, and I had to get up 3 times to get their attention for something we needed. The tip is automatically included, which is a bummer because we would only have left a small amount for the above mentioned reasons. Again, the food was still good, but everything else SUCKED. Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening at around 630p. Took a little bit to find where the restaurant was but thanks to yelp pictures, at least i knew it was on the "top/3rd floor". It was kind of "hidden" in a corner. Restaurant was full and lots of people waiting outside. When I had put my name on the list, the hostess asked if we'd be ok with sitting outside. With the weather being decent, we just opted for whatever be fastest and agreed to outside seating. After waiting for maybe 20min, we were seated inside and was was seemingly a randomly made table on the side. Decor was quite unique. Old style Korean design with like a pocha-like layout seating. What's unique about this restaurant is there seems to be no "designated" server for a certain area, so you just can flag anyone down. Also, on the menu, it states "A 10% fee will be added to your bill. This is not a gratuity or tip. We are a no-tipping restaurant. The fee is revenue that is not segmented or designated in any way. it is taxed according to state law and is used to fund maintain all operations. PLEASE, NO TIPPING." Kind of weird but sure. Upon seating, a waiter brought 3 small pitcher's of barley tea/water and utensils/plating. Then we flagged someone to order food MISOOLKWAN TTEOK-BOKKI - Served in a metal container/bowl. Decent amount of fish cake, a few whole eggs, a few fried mandu. Sauce is a little thin but flavor was good. There is also ramyeon in this as well. ODEN UDON TANG (was supposed to be for the kiddo but no one noticed the smol chili next to the item that showed it being 'spicy' oops?) - Served on a butane stove to keep hot. LOTS of fish cake/oden. Mildly spicy because i think they put gochujang in the soup/broth. Wished there was more udon BONE-IN FRIED CHICKEN - Whole fried chicken cut into pieces served with pickled radish. Good portion and flavor DEEP FRIED BEEF INTESTINE - This was surprisingly the BEST item we had gotten. Never had "deep fried intestine" in a korean place before so this was a "gamble" but definitely won. I think its small beef intestine (gopchang), cut into pieces like popcorn chicken and fried. Served with slices of fresh jalapeno on top, with a side of pickled onion/chili sauce like youd get for dipping with like... seolleongtang and another creamy/mildly spicy sauce (that we all used) Unfortunately, they dont have Cass on draft/tap so i ordered a bottle of Cass instead, since it was only 2 of us drinking anyway. Matched so well with the deep fried beef intestine and bone-in fried chicken !! Ambiance is quite noisy already from just background music and people chatting but at around 8p, they dim the lights and start blasting music and playing music videos. Managed to do a walk in and immediately got seated here for a party of 4 on a Monday night before the dinner rush. All the other times that I've been here, there were always large groups waiting outside. So this was a great moment! Especially since we had friends from out of state who wanted to try something unique. Ordering happens through the tablets at each table, but you have to flag down a server to order any alcohol. Restrooms were fairly clean when we went. I LOVE that they have complimentary corn tea. Misoolkwan OC is a great place for late night drinks and eats. The moment you enter, it transform you to almost a night market in Korea. My party of 4 were escorted to any table of our liking. As an added bonus, big protector and tvs are everywhere so you can also watch the game while you catch up with friends. I love that there is a screen at the table, where you can order food, however not the drinks on there. I'm guessing it's in case you're underage? Anyhow, the screen makes it convenient especially when it is busy. My recs are sweet spicy boneless chicken are seafood pancake. They are both bomb! Full of flavor and cooked just right! My party of 6 arrived for a late dinner. There was at least a whole page of names ahead of us. We were luckily seated within an hour. *just know to stay around the host table...I only hear them call a parry name once, maybe twice and they will cross names off that list. We were seated at the far back corner which was nice. Kind of our own private nook, but it didn't have a TV screen to order. We had to flag folks down which was kinda annoying. Overall, service was not terrible, considering how busy they are. The music was very loud to where you're shouting within your own table. That's cool for the 20 yo crowd. The food was pretty good and decently priced. They add tip to the bill. Like it or not. It's not like other establishments who just incorporate priced to justify paying a living wage. This wouldn't be my go-to, but definitely a nice trendy place to visit once in a while. read more

Not bad, but not as good as before. I came to this place before about a year ago and was really excited to come back (especially for the muscat ade), but was slightly disappointed this time. We were able to be seated right away since we came earlier (around 5:30-6pm), and now they have tablets at each table for convenient ordering. They were out of a lot of the drinks including the muscat ade unfortunately. The grilled pork belly with kimchi was pretty good. The rose tteokbokki was not salty enough at all and the fried chicken was too salty. I still think the ambience of the restaurant is fun and unique, but for the food quality, not sure if we will be coming back. read more

I thought the vibes of this place were great! It was packed and people kept coming in and their flavored makgeoli was good but I was slightly disappointed by the food. The best thing was the pork and kimchi dish and the seafood pancake but the boneless fried chicken was tough to chew and the pickled radish had no flavor and the mala noodle soup was just okay. But it's located at the source where there's ample parking and lots of various stores to check out! I do think this was one of the more busier places and you sign up by adding yourself to their Yelp waitlist. Their menu is extensive so maybe I'll try different things next time read more

Easy eats anju in a lively area. Went to watch some football and have some Korean food. It gets pretty busy, so would suggest having someone get there ahead of time if you don't want to wait. Ordered pork w/ garlic, and then some fried chicken and some other things. Good time! read more
