Sesame seed bagel
Jesica V.

Ther was a lot of hype around this bagel shop so even though I'd already eaten breakfast, I had to stop by. I ordered a sesame bagel untoasted with no spread in order to get the pure bagel experience and then a toasted plain with spread. The interior of the bagel is very much like white bread so, if you like white bread, you're in luck. If you're really into bagels and/or from NYC, you'll be disappointed. On the other hand, the cream cheese spread was delightfully savory and combined with the toasted bagel, made a very tasty treat. So over all -- pretty good! Just make sure to get your bagel toasted and served up with spread or in a sandwich. And also -- great drive thru service and no line on a Thursday morning

Love this spot for a quick but filling bite! Great food, usually super fast, cute set up for drive through vibe with small outdoor seating area available. Pro tip: you can purchase their bagels for home :) Awesome job 1201

Turkey cranberry bagel sandwich

Saw this place next to our hotel and wanted to see what the lines were about. Boy did we find out! We stood in line for 40 minutes to order a couple bagel sandwiches and a blueberry bagel with strawberry spread. The bagel sandwiches were spectacular! I got the Turkey and cranberry sandwich and loved every single bite! The blueberry bagel with spread didn't have a good spread to bagel ratio but I wasn't too mad about that. The real star was the sand which. I just wish it was run a bit better. They have two drive through lines plus a walk up and order area but 2-3 people working. This caused every ordering line to take 40 + minutes before food was handed out. The staff was super duper friendly and aside from the madness seemed to be loving their jobs and made us feel happy to talk to them even though we waited so long. I wouldn't say it was worth that long of a wait but the bagels and bagel sandwiches were pretty tasty.

Burnt bagel.

I had been wanting to go here for a long time but the line was always super long. Today I sucked it up and waiting in line for around 30 minutes. I got two things. I got the caprese sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. Pictured is the bagel. It was burnt and the cream cheese was watery. It was about $15 bucks for those two things without a tip. The caprese sandwich was pretty good but I probably would not go back. The wait was unfortunately not worth it. Maybe it's because they were super busy today but that shouldn't be an excuse to serve burnt food.

Served me a burnt bagel. Food is fine but this isn't cool. Pure laziness as there were no other cars in line!

We stopped by on a fishing trip headed to the San Juan's. We prefer bagels over donuts and 1201 Bagels was recommended to us. It was a beautiful sunny slightly windy Thursday morning. They have a few tables and chairs to sit at. The menu was extensive with many different choices of bagel flavors and different cream cheese flavors. They had bagel sandwiches and even a bagel burger. We had the salmon lox bagel on everything bagel and the salmon Benny on pesto Parmesan. There was a little bit of a wait but once I ordered the wait wasn't long for our food. Both bagels were soft and toasted . They both had great flavor. You must try the pesto Parmesan bagel. It's delicious. It's a little extra for the cheesy bagels but it's worth it. The salmon Benny has smoked salmon, spinach , a fried egg and the most delicious creamy hollandaise spread. It was the best bagel sandwich I have ever ate. The lox bagel sandwich was everything I expected from a salmon lox. Creamy, with a bite from the red onion and tang from the capers. Definitely recommend to try this place when passing by!

THE BEST BAGEL I HAVE EVER HAD. Everything was so good. Will be planning future trips just so I can stop by Ellensburg to get a bagel.

Incredibly slow. 1+ hour wait. Good bagels but bad biscuits and gravy. They need to hire another cook or expand.

As my daughter and I oohed and awed over the bagel we had just bought in the little drive through behind this coffee shop, we were excited to round out our carb-loaded breakfast with some awesome coffee. Saw the reviews online and figured this would be a great place. Wrong. I ordered a simple iced Americano with cream and my daughter ordered a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored drink. We both asked for white coffee. Now, in all of my previous experiences with white coffee, it has a sweet and toasty flavor. Much less aggressive than a typical roasted bean that has turned a darker shade of brown. This was NOT AT ALL like white coffees I'd had before. Like I said, maybe it was a bad batch. If you ever snuck a raw dried bean from one of those mixed bean soup mixes and proceeded to chew on it . . . that's exactly what my Americano tasted like. It had almost zero color (white coffee is usually at least a little tan in color, even when some cream is added). This wasn't even ivory. The ice made for more than half of the cup. It tasted like raw uncooked bean water, with a splash of cream, over lots of ice. My daughter's tasted like someone ate a bowl of the cereal, poured out the leftover milk, strained it, mixed with one to one with water, and dumped it over ice, At east her raw uncooked bean water, with a splash of cream, over lots of ice was flavored with syrup. We - literally - gagged them down. The beans were definitely under-toasted. There was too much ice for the price. For both drinks, it was $12. Service was fine. Prices were high (but not abnormal for the area). I was originally going to give a slightly higher rating, but a coffee shop that specialized in white coffee drinks should have wondered why the beans smelled so raw when they were made into drinks. Now, if they are selling a new type of white coffee that is made from completely untoasted beans that intentionally tastes like uncooked dried beans, then my apologies. If you are looking for a typical white coffee drink that's sweet and toasty flavored, this isn't it.

It is so difficult for me to rate this McDonald's…read more If I'm remembering correctly, it 99% has a play place. Which is a prerequisite for me for a McDonald's to get a five-star review. I've never had any issues with the food, or the service here. Another prerequisite for this to get a five-star review. So what is it that brings this down to a four star? Well, this is a freeway McDonald's. What I mean by that is this is a stop you make on the freeway if you are going across the state of Washington. Yes, I understand that people live in ellensburg, I understand that people in ellensburg eat at McDonald's. However, this store is located close to the freeway that it is a stop on the freeway. And there's the problem, it is awkwardly located to get off of the freeway, drive this far into town, it's difficult to get in and out of the parking lot, it's difficult to get in and out of the drive-thru. It just makes for an inefficient, unpleasant experience if you're stopping off the freeway for some lunch. Now, it's not as bad as any of the McDonald's in cle elum. But it's pretty bad. So overall, as a McDonald's this place is great. As a freeway McDonald's this place is somewhat lacking.
