I had an over the top positive experience with Stacy today while retrieving my car that had been hit by another person. I was delayed unexpectedly on the way and discovered that I could not make it before the 4 PM closing time even though I was close. Stacy was very helpful in letting me arrive a few minutes late. In addition, Stacy was very communicative on the phone on the front end, helpful while I was traveling, had a friendly and can do attitude, and helpful to service me in a professional manner. I called and spoke with C.J. on a Saturday morning in an attempt to release a vehicle that had been impounded after a speeding citation. Being that I live 50+ miles away from their Belton location, I had offered to pay by credit card, debit card, or electronic check. C.J. stated to me that they used to allow this, but they had decided to stop accepting payment other than in person. Being it was a Saturday morning, I asked if the daily impound fees ($22 per day) could be waived for the next two days since the banks wouldn't open until Monday. She put me on hold for 10 minutes to reach her Manager, who said it was my fault for not being able to make it to Belton in time and that the fees would still apply. This is the only towing company I'm aware of doing this. Please avoid doing business with this greedy wrecker company. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER First, our car was not placed here due to any fault of ours (the Temple location). We were in an accident and our Toyota was totaled and this was "the tow yard on rotation with Temple PD". If we wanted it sent to our yard of choice (Temple Towing), we'd have needed to pay $80 Day 1 - Larry and Moe had no idea our car was even here. My mom had to point out her keys and then go hunting for her own car which is as almost all the way in the back of the lot. Since she needed help to remove some heavy objects (tow bar), she said she'd return tomorrow Day 2 - Today...We get here and they're closed (1:15pm). I call the number and a very pleasant lady answered from their main office in Belton (the only pleasant experience). She asked why we didn't call an hour before arrival. Well, ma'am, Larry and Moe told us to show up. She actually drove here to let us in. When we get here, not only do I have to locate our keys because they were numbered wrong but our car was parked so far into the weeds that you couldn't get inside of it without scratching your legs up. On June 24th I called for a tow because my PCM gave out and needed a tow from Benton to San Antonio. I called at 12:15 pm - He didn't arrive until 3:05pm. I was with my 9 y.o. twins, 1 y.o. granddaughter, my 21 y.o. daughter and cat in 100 degree weather. I took a screen shot of the weather at the time he arrived to show how hot it was and the time he arrived because he conveniently didn't write down the time on his paperwork. The driver tried to charge me more then what was quoted. When I reminded him how late he was - he decided to shave $75 off the tow charge. Needless to say he wasn't on time and when I had called these people several times and even let them know I had children and a baby with me - that still didn't make them hurry up. Thank God we broke down in front of a 7 11 because they were kind enough to allow us in their store to cool off and even gave us free water. read more

I left an interior light on in my car and was in a jam with a dead battery Tuesday evening. I called 121 Towing & Recovery and then very promptly sent a tech out to my location. He even called me to tell me he was taking a few minutes longer than expected. He was courteous, quick, and helpful. The whole thing was only $45, which isn't bad for an independent service! 121 T&R will definitely be my go-to for roadside service in the future. read more

No concern for their clients, rude, simply terrible...openly share incorrect information regarding the status of the tow truck. Then call and blame the customer, simply not acceptable. read more

Professional. Fast. Courteous. These are the first words that come to mind when I remember my experience with 121 Towing. I called Roadside Assistance to come and tow my van to the shop for repairs. After dealing with the folks there, I got a text saying that 121 Towing would be coming to pick it up and it would be about an hour. Less than 10 minutes later I got a call from the driver as he was coming up the street. 15 minutes after that (just because I'm a talker!) my car was loaded and on its way to the shop. I was very disappointed with the curt and unfriendly service at the Temple location and felt I was treated like a second class citizen. I complained to the Belton location and then said yea we know we have heard it before. I also felt that the charges were unreasonable on this third time I had used them in a month. I would beware. The lady that answers the phone after hours is very rude and could care less about the person that needs to get their car out of impound. She says it is not her problem that it got impounded, wow what a response. Never even once thinking, damn the people already have their car impounded and are already upset and trying to get information about their car and there is no reason for her to treat them like they are way beneath her. All I have to say is these people that own the cars are also your customers not just the police station, because if they don't get their vehicles out of impound, then you don't get your money either. I have dealt with Temple towing and Ward towing in the past and these people are wonderful and considerate and don't mind explaining things to the people, and are very considerate. read more

I called this towing company yesterday b/c my bike overheated. As with most tow companies the wait can be annoying. The driver showed up already pissed & unprofessional. He took pictures of my bike & then preceded w/ a phone call. I asked what s the wait for & he replied he was waiting on his partner that was on another job. By this time i m aggravated & it s starting to rain heavily. 10 minutes later he return to my vehicle & says he s declining the call due to my bike being custom. So now my bike that is always garage is getting soaked & the situation is getting out of hand. I know this review is lengthy, but motorcycle riders beware. I didn t get the driver s name. He was white, short, light red beard. Avoid this company at all cost. I don t usually play the race card, but racials past back & forth. He had to be kin to the owner to get that job. The worst experience ever.i ll never contact 121 towing ever again. Watch out for the short bearded dragon. read more

I was on my way to Dallas for my sisters Wedding when my car stopped accelerating on some back road in the middle of nowhere. The tow truck driver kept me updated on his ETA until he arrived and made the pick up as easy for me as you can possibly imagine. His manners were unmatched which always goes a long way with me. Not only did he let me know when my car arrived at the destination, but a sweet woman (I believe her name was Jana) called me to let me know she knew I was on my way to Dallas and advised me not to take I35 as they were cleaning up a major accident and the highway was a parking lot. Customer service like this doesn't exist anymore and I appreciated it beyond words. I couldn't have asked for a better company to help me when I was totally. I HIGHLY recommend this company and being that I'm pretty hard to please, that speaks volumes for this towing company. I thank your team for the amazing care you provided 121 Towing. Two failed attempts to tow my car with this company and its inexperienced employers, who were friendly enough. After returning from a deployment to find a dead car, this was the last thing I wanted to deal with but I spent an entire morning trying to get my car towed. Ended up with a different towing company with a competent employee. read more
