College dorm. Living here has been nothing short of a disaster. Neighbors are loud and obnoxious, throwing around furniture, yelling in the hallway, slamming doors every 5 mins like children. Literally, a college dorm. The staff are nice, but don't particularly care about dealing with any resident issues. Their job is simply sales and keeping the occupancy % as high as possible. If you are 21 and your goal is just to live on a fun street and be close to bars and restaurants, you'll probably be okay here for a short time. If you're an adult that has a job and don't particularly desire to deal with college kids, avoid at all possible. read more

I had a positive experience living at 1225, but Greystar's mismanagement of my move out process has prompted me to write a negative review. After living at 1225 for 3 years, I ended my lease early due to a cross-country move. Following my lease termination, 1225 was required to market my unit to new tenants, such that I would be reimbursed for a portion of the cost of terminating my lease, if a new tenant rented my apartment. Throughout the months following my move out, I continued to receive emails and calls from the property suggesting that I lived in the building, and my review of the 1225 website indicated that my unit was not being marketed for re-letting. These issues continued for three months, after my repeated communications to the building that I had moved out and that the building should be marketing my unit. The unit was not rented prior to my original lease end date. Six months following my move out, I heard from Greystar that I owed approximately $200 on my unit. I had paid the full amount to terminate my lease and had been advised by local property managers that I would not owe any additional dollars. When I reviewed supporting documentation, I was dismayed to see that the building's records reflected my original lease end date as my move out date, leading me to believe that 1225 never marketed my unit. I paid the $200 after several additional months of back-and-forth with Greystar, but I cannot shake the feeling that I paid thousands of dollars to terminate my lease early under the building's guise of marketing my unit for re-letting. read more

Rating: If I could do half stars, I'd rock a solid 2.5. I lived at 1225 for 15 months (having moved out as of 7/1/2014). I moved there from another city - first time in Chicago. I was woo'd by the 'newness' of the complex and its amenities (aka suckered in by the new big city feel). PROS: - The door folks are great, John is awesome. - The maintenance folks were aways kind and timely whenever I had an issue - Built in the past few years - Nice amenities (theater, demo kitchen, pool, hot tub, grills, gym) - Great location to Redline / Bus / Transit - Great view (from where I was at - 15th floor unimpeded view facing West) CONS: - Overpriced, probably the most expensive by square ft around - Management didn't seem of much help on anything (Nathan was helpful, but there's only so much he could do) - Raised my rent by $200 after the 15 month lease (yeah, abt $2,200 for a 550 sq ft studio CONVERTIBLE)! So, if you took a loan out for $300,000 for 30 years at 5% rate, you'd pay less.... yep, sho.. nuff. Ouch. - Floors are faux wood, handles on cabinets / drawers would always fall off - I love dogs, but not when they constantly urinate all over the front of a 'luxury' apt complex - Again, I love dogs, but not when they bark like broken records for hours at a time or EVERY time I'm on my balcony when you live next door to me and play your music loud like a 90s bass tape remix and management does nothing about it, even after multiple complaints and could care less... #runonsentence - Pool is great, but was never heated (as advertised) the first summer (cooold) and there's VERY limited space around it. - Hot tub was shut down last year bc it was pretty much deemed unsanitary, this year - it's still not filled. - Most of the residents were cool, it was rare I met anyone that was a prick - but I did feel this sense of 'hey look at me' or egotism - The damn printer NEVER worked, even after numerous reports. Reminded me of Office Space, I wanted to demolish that PC Loadlettering paperweight. There ya have it, take it for what it's worth. I moved about 2 blocks over and got a place 35% larger for $400 less w/ just older amenities on La Salle Drive. read more

Important note: I do not live here, so I am writing as a prospective resident. I am early in my apartment search and 1225 Old Town caught my eye. I got in touch and Candice replied almost immediately to confirm the appointment I wanted to set up. When I showed up, the doorwoman was extremely welcoming and had me sit by the cozy fireplace until Candice was ready for me. Candice was an absolute delight and listened to all of my needs and showed me three apartments. She was very open in answering all of the questions I had and was honest in helping me figure out if this was the right building for me. She was professional and, at the same time, welcoming and genuine -- I didn't feel like she was just trying to get a lease out of me. The building itself is beautiful and in an amazing location. It's pricey but you get what you pay for - the amenities are phenomenal and it seems like a wonderful community. All in all, I can't speak to the quality of life living there, but I was absolutely blown away by my visit and treated with the utmost respect. This building will most certainly be at the top of my list when it comes time for me to pick. That to me is at least worth a positive review. read more

Great building, great staff, but major issue with the dog run. The dog run: The "dog run" is a 12x12 square of fake turf that is not properly cleaned or maintained. It is not the large green roof area that is shown in the photos on the website. The actual area is "cleaned" by putting a water hose on a sprinkler water distributer (think what you would have put in the yard and run through in the summer as a kid), which basically does nothing. The smell is awful and you can routinely see feces still on the turf. I would guess that half of the residents in the building own a dog, so the space isn't an adequate size to begin with; the lack of maintenance makes it unusable. The nearest park is an 8 minute walk, which isn't realistic for early mornings or during bad weather. The management: While very nice and generally pleasant, the building managers have continuously ignored requests to improve the area, claiming that they power wash it (which is actually the afore mentioned sprinkler system). The building manager has consistently pushed off our requests to speak with her directly about the issue until a response to this review. Several dog owners in the building have experienced the same issue. Otherwise, the building is generally clean and well maintained. The concierge team is awesome - always happy and smiling - and he maintenance team is also helpful and friendly. I would look at the Sinclair, which is across the street and opening August 2017. They have a much larger, appropriately irrigated dog area and lower prices. It's a shame that the building won't improve the dog area, because everything else is good to great. We will be moving as soon as possible because of this issue. read more

1225 Old town is the place to live in the Gold Coast!! From the leasing staff to the Door man they are as nice as it gets! Jillian made our move in stress free and Dwayne the door man is priceless. Always a kind word and a smile such a positive group of people!! I feel so safe and at home. Location...Location...Location!! It is right in the heart of the happening places. I walk everywhere!! Our Place is gorgeous and new!! My friend said it's like a five star hotel.... Pool and skydeck are gorgeous and the workout room is fantastic also.. They have a great room to rent out for parties... The view is wonderful, I can see the lake from our 11th floor and the entire city. The residents are very friendly also. I would recommend 1225 to anyone that want a great place to live right in the heart of the city!! Carol read more

I've lived in this building since it opened. I'm only posting now as I'm ready to move out soon and I did not want awkward daily conversations with the people from the Habitat Company (who I liked personally). More on the Habitat Company later. I'm not sure of the architects credentials, but I'm pretty sure I could have designed a better building having spent a lot of time with Legos as a little kid. The rooms? They are tiny, and the use of space doesn't help. Large air ducts that jettison out into the living room make set-up even more cramped. The bedroom I'm in barely fits a queen size bed, which means I'm essentially sleeping in my closet. Given the astronomical prices here (you pay some of the highest rent per square foot in the city), the amenities need to rock. However.... The pool? It's elevated for no reason, and is tiny. I don't even bother seeing if there's a spot for me anymore on a nice day. The dog run? It's basically a litter box, despite the fact that surrounding it is a giant roof with wasted outdoor space. This could be such a game changer, but my dog looks at me like he's about to call PETA if i take him there. It's more than a little ironic that the most spacious and nicest amenity in the building is the demonstration kitchen. That's about as useful to me as the tiny dog run is to my lab. The gym is fine, but the Habitat Company was unable to get it running properly in 8 months. I've gotten to know many of the tenants here over the past 8 months, and the biggest indictment I can give is that most can't wait to move out. The best thing about this building is the location, so save your money and live in one of the many nearby buildings. The Plum market that is finally set to open will be awesome for future tenants. However, a new apartment building is set to go up across the street. Dealing with that noise and construction won't be fun. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can't write this post without referencing the Habitat Company. Its good for the building that they've moved on, but I was looking forward to seeing their reaction to the max exodus of tenants. They were willing to say anything to get people to move in, most of which was a shame. And despite numerous problems with the building that plagued the first tenants to move in, they offered me a 15% increase in rent for the next year as a thank you. $2,200 for my unit is just a joke. Pass. I should have known this would not be a good experience right away. At this time last year, the show units were still not available to see. I was deciding between a convertible and a 1 bedroom. I gave a deposit for the convertible, but was told that I could switch to the 1 bedroom when the unit was ready to see at the same price. However, once the unit was ready to see, they had decided they were raising there prices several hundred dollars and would not honor that agreement. They also said that the pool would be open at the end of last summer and that Plum market was set to open soon. That turned out not to be the case. read more

Aren't offering any concessions and immediately stop working with you when you ask about any specials. I can't imagine what it would be like living here with this initial interaction. Moving can be stressful but this one was easy. I had lived in a Habitat bldg before and they are well-oiled machines. Even though this is a brand new bldg, the team here is knowledgeable, resourceful, and accessible. Even before I moved in, I felt like I was in constant contact with Jillian and she had answers to all my questions. As far as organization and professionalism go, these are great people to work with. She quickly replied to all my emails no matter how specific, like when I asked for corner measurements or the length under the desk... While I agree with recent posts that the door staff and engineers are excellent and it sounds like the newer Management Group is now actually doing their job.... they cannot make up for the simple fact that the building was POORLY constructed with SUBPAR materials, appliances ect... Let's start with day one of moving in. Our carpet was stained with toothpaste, handles on closets and kitchen drawers are falling off when you pull open, the closet door falls off the track, there are no light fixtures except in the bathrooms/ kitchen/hall, the floor base boards are broken in some spots, stained counter tops, melted counter tops in some spots, the blinds in one bedroom did not go up and the blinds in another bedroom would not go all the way down...just to name a few things. When you view the units they show you a perfect never lived in unit. It's kind of like bait and switch. Moving on to Heating and Cooling: Week one of moving in our air conditioner broke. Called maintenance they came to fix it. Within the very next week it broke again. The actual unit was replaced. This went on 8-10 times within 3 months. In the end we had multiple new units put in. Nothing the maintenance could do, whoever is in charge purchased poor equipment. Moving on to the washer and dryer: They both are so loud I felt like I was in my old, low price apartment on the EL line. The washer barely actually washes your clothes. My husband would go for a run, place his clothes in the washer and dryer and they would come out smelling the same from after the run. Yes, his clothes smell really bad after a run but you would think a cycle through the washer would do something. Literally I kid you not, nothing. We also ditched many clothes items because the washer would not distribute the detergent properly and sometimes it would leave marks on your clothes. Let's talk Kitchen: There is nothing luxury about it! The stove/oven get so oddly hot not matter what temp you are cooking at your food comes out smoking. Seriously, actual smoke coming off of your food. And the foods not burnt just smoking hot:) Typically in the oven you need to be extra careful not to burn the bottom of your food. And here is where is gets fun...your fire alarm will go off so you typically will need to cook at all times with the microwave vent on. Overall the appliances and finishes in the kitchen are very cheap and like the washer and dryer the dishwasher is so loud too. You are told you cannot put your bike on the balcony, rather lock it up in the garage. I can somewhat understand they want the building to have a clean exterior, but then provide some security for the garage. Our bikes were stolen. Not just ours, I know others were as well because the building management reported it. So they knew the issues and did nothing. Luckily we got out in 6 months due to having to relocate. We were there with the new management but again the building as a whole was poorly constructed. If a corner could be cut it appeared to be done. The main reason I am writing this is I cannot believe the price they charge and the misleading description of the building as upscale or luxury. Location of course is great, everything outside of your actual unit is great when it is working and clean, and of course Plum Market in nice...but do not go in thinking you are living in a luxury place and the units are worth the price. Last piece of advice, ask to see the unit they actually want to put you in! read more

Lets start that the company has come under new management... THANK YOU GOOD LORD!!!! The old ones were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Therefore, the rating would have been 1 star, but I have high hopes the new staff will do this building justice. The door staff (Corey, Mario and Bobbi) and the maintenance team ( JOE!!!!!! ) ARE AMAZING!. They are the ONLY reason we have continued to live in this place. Jillian is a sweet heart and unfortunately is not at 1225 any more. The rest of the women in the leasing office are awkward , fake and unpleasant. Thankfully, they are no longer there. The people who built/ran the building are the problem. Let's begin- We moved into 1225 in Sept of 2012 bc we wanted more time to look at condos. For $3000+ a month for a 1 bedroom, you would think the walls were lined with gold leaf. Simple things like the walls only being painted with one coat, the "wood" floor that isn't wood, it bubbles when you try to keep it clean with a steam vac, textiles and fixtures are cheaply made, "Eco" light bulbs (that are supposed to last at least 4 years) go out TWICE A MONTH. Dishwashers that break, light bulbs in the fridge that continues to not work... the list of small things goes on and on. Yes, they are small things, however when you have 50 SMALL things, its a BIG problem. STOP CUTTING CORNERS. Then there is the parking garage NIGHTMARE. No security whatsoever for the many nice vehicles the residents own. A garage door that is never shut, I have seem suspicious characters driving into the garage to see what is parked in there , along with people just walking in and checking handles of unlocked doors. We work hard for the things we have and one would think if you ARE PAYING A PREMIUM to protect your assets, the company would figure something out besides a ghetto lift gate that was CLEARLY not designed when the garage was built. It is OBVIOUS that the company complete flew by the seat of their pants just to get the doors open. And we absolutely had it when a $500 dog charge was added to our rent without notice. We recently purchased a puppy, and had been inundated with puppy visit, training ,etc... She is registered in the city and we knew we needed to "register" her in our building. It slipped our minds. We saw ALL of the office managers with our dog. We were not trying to hide anything. The question is what does that $500 go towards? The dog area is anything but well kept, and thats the residents faults who dont pick up after their dogs. Our puppy actually got Giardia from the poor dog run conditions, that cost $200 in vet bills!?!? This place attempts to be upscale and mimic a hotel. The building is in Old Town, WE GET IT! It costs a little more bc of the location, but give me a break. The living spaces are par for the course, NOTHING spectacular. The pool deck literally fits like 10 people. EVERY single resident I know who has moved in around the time we did (fall 2012) have already ended their leases or are planning on moving out. Apparently I need to leave the healthcare field and venture into real estate development. There are lots of things need to be fixed; I've given you a list, that is a good place to start. read more

Great place to live in Chicago! We have lived in many neighborhoods within Chicago, and this is one of our favorites. We lived here for 9 months as we were waiting for a condo to be built. The location could not be better - Walking distance to Lincoln Park, Plum Market (1st floor!), the Zoo, Rush Street, Wells street, Second City, and Michigan Ave. The building has really great customer service, 24/7 maintenance people who are kind and pleasant, onsite door staff are friendly and get to know you. The building also has nice social parties, amazing summer pool and grill area, 11th floor common space, Coffee 24/7, bagels on Friday mornings, and many extra benefits like kids classes and food trucks. We would have stayed longer if we had not been planning a move prior to living here! read more

We lived here for a year before moving to California and boy do we miss it! I never once saw this place dirty, they are on top of it! The apartment complex always smelled great. The amenities always clean and quiet. Our view from our balcony and bedroom windows was pretty amazing. Very profesional, pleasant staff. The concierge were always so great and helpful. I always felt safe living there. Whenever we had an issue in our unit they always took care of it right away. The engineers were wonderful and very respectful. They always had fresh beautiful flowers in the lobby which I enjoyed. The other tenants we came across were peaceful and friendly. Just a great place to live. Total delight. Can't say enough good things about it. Plum Market just next door was a perk. Beautiful neighborhood in Old Town surrounded by great restaurants. read more

I was a resident at 1225 since it opened, moving in at the end of July 2012. Prior to living there I had been living in the typical Chicago "vintage" apartment buildings. Dirty, dingy, and old. The day I went to the leasing office before the building was completed, the rent for a studio was around $1500. With the promise of a roof-deck pool (opening soon!), a market on the first floor (opening soon!), as well as the gym, theater room, and demonstration kitchen in addition to the new apartment with washer/dryer, I was sold. Unfortunately things went downhill rapidly from there. Fortunately for me I put my money down ($600 non returnable deposit) because the next day the rents had gone up about $200 for A STUDIO!! As someone mentioned before, the space planning and interior finishes are atrocious. Within 6 months my refrigerator flooded the apartment, which took them 3 weeks to repair. At that time they had submitted my lease for resigning with an increased rent of $100 a month. Which isn't as much as many of the residents but when I think of all the shortcomings I didn't even consider resigning. The closets are outfitted with the worst shelving systems, and the windows do not come with screens and they only open about 5 inches so I hope you don't want any fresh air. You can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the hallway, and in my case I could hear everything that happens in the bathroom of an unidentified resident next door blaring music at 12AM and 530 AM). There was construction noise throughout the 11 months that I was there from the Plum Market project (which took 11 months to open, thanks for nothing). The pool deck is entirely too small for the size of the building, and I think I was able to sit in a lounge chair once. The demonstration kitchen was nice, but it costs $150 to reserve. The old management company was the biggest complaint, they would not return phone calls or emails, they didn't notify the tenants of their policies (many of which cost money), and the door staff was less than diligent about stopping people before letting them come up to the apartments. An apartment was burglarized in the middle of the day (was no one else completely freaked out by this?????). The gym has been over 80 degrees for the past month with no notification/apology/explanation to the residents. I don't have much hope for the new management company unfortunately, they have yet to figure out the resident portal, and as I was moving out yesterday I was told by the maintenance person (not sure which one) that I would have to go retrieve the elevator I had reserved when someone took it from the first floor. While there are a few members of the staff who are very nice and help out as much as they can, they are limited. As for the neighborhood, while the area to the north is nice, getting to the Red Line is sketchy at best, the CTA construction has limited the paths to get down Division to Clark and I can't tell you how many drug deals I witnessed on the way to the train. Be aware that while it is in Old Town, it is not as nice and safe as you might imagine. Overall I am shocked that the employees/owners of a building with the second highest net rents in the city are not going out of their way to make their residents happy. (I am charged how much to get back into my apartment if I am locked out? $50) You absolutely do NOT get what you paid for in this building, and I know that I am not the only resident who felt this way. With all the new residential projects going up in the city, I hope that 1225 realizes sooner rather than later that they can't afford to continually raise rents without offering more service to the residents and better amenities. At the rate in which residents are moving out, the shoddy apartment finishes will not last very long and the shine of new construction will be gone very quickly. read more

I have lived at 1225 since the building opened two years ago. I am generally pretty easy going and I have never written a yelp review but for this first time feel the need to. I have experienced the following issues with the building: 1. 1225 management allowed strangers into my apartment without giving them permission to enter. This incident occurred ~6 months ago. 2. The proposed rent increase after the first year of living there was 15% (or $550 per month) for a 2 bedroom apartment. After several months of stressful complaining and probably 10 non-returned phone calls / emails we agreed to a 10% increase (or $350 per month). 3. Poor construction - I have repaired several cabinets because the door knobs have fallen off. Plenty of other issues I will elaborate on after I move out. 4. Washer / dryer needed to be replaced after only a few months. 5. General unresponsiveness - normally takes several calls into the management team to get a call back. Not once has the call resulted positively. 6. Several new management teams since opening - so no one ever knows what is going on / takes responsibility for issues. Lease renewal process and management switch overs were disastrous. 7. Move out - I asked for an extension on my lease by one month. Building demanded a 70% increase in rent for the one month (from $4,000 to $6,800). No flexibility whatsoever in the increase (despite the unit still remaining available with less than two weeks until move out). Was told that a computer generates all rates, no exceptions even if the unit is likely to remain empty. Could not be less pleased with the management over the time I have lived in the building. Would recommend that people look elsewhere. They are lucky the building is new and in a great location - customer service doesn't matter to them at all. read more

I moved in in April of 2013, the management company at the time said I could paint the walls as long as it was a light color. So, I did. Moved out one year later (new management company) and they are charging me $100. Beware, don't paint unless you get it in writing. Also, the walls are very thin, I could hear the person in the next apartment snoring. The doors also slam very hard. One great thing about the place is the door staff and Plum market. It's too bad the old reviews can't be scrapped, as they do not reflect the new management company AT ALL. Any questionable 1-, 2-, or 3-star reviews this place has gotten was CLEARLY when the old management company (Habitat) was in place. After the buildling sold, the new owners brought in a new management company (Riverstone) that is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the other. Out with the old and in with the new! What a breath of fresh air! I won't waste my time with the many faults of the old company. Rather, I'd like to stress how the new management company is extremely responsive. Here and there I have had to reach out to the new property manager, and I have always found her to be gracious and never in a rush when I needed to express a concern. Jennifer runs a very tight ship--which I LOVE--and is up on everything that is going on in the building. I literally saw her and the office staff member Nathan (love him!) picking up trash from the flower beds in front of our building one day because they care that much! If things are not done right, they are out there making things right. Jennifer is always out on the property, constantly walking around to see which scuffs if any need painting, what things would improve the experience for residents, and has made herself accessible to everyone from Day 1. The old property manager never even left her office. Enough said. In the past, as some of the old bad reviews reflect, this non-smoking building had far too many smoking, beer-pong-playing 20somethings. No more. The new management company has turned our building into a classy, elegant, building commensurate with the refined nature of Old Town. In fact, 1225 has become Chicago's new hotspot for celebrities, with my neighbors including members from Chicago Fire soccer, a certain ABC network drama, an HBO series regular, various Steppenwolf Theatre stars, LionsGate DIVERGENT producers) and so on. Trust me, those types were not living here under Habitat's reign despite the gorgeous nature of the building. Riverstone has completely turned this place around. And Plum Market is a major draw too. To be fair, it's only been open under Riverstone, but it's amaze-balls. I do find the rent to be expensive (only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5), but I am extremely happy with the location (can't be topped); the caliber of 80% of the other residents; the greatest grocery store in the world on Level 1; the dog-friendly aspects; and the great pleasure that is our new property mgr Jennifer and her associate Nathan. (Haven't dealt as much with the others; Jennifer and Nathan are real stand-outs to me). read more

I was one of the first residents to move in and am so thankful I am moving out in 2 weeks. First, the good: the door and maintenance staff are amazing. The location is close to work and there are a lot if things to do in the area. Now the bad. My mail is rarely delivered. I have often not received bills or other important pieces of information. The design of the apartments poorly utilizes space. The bathroom is disproportionately big while the storage is seriously lacking. They easily could have fit a walk in closet if they just reduced the size of the bathroom. The design of the convertible is very awkward. The gym is 80 degrees and there is no fan. The pool is small and I never used it because it is constantly occupied to capacity. The rooftop only uses half of the space available, so again, it is constantly to occupancy. The clark/ division stop is sketchy. I am constantly getting yelled at and have been followed on multiple occasions. Despite all of this, my rent was raised 300 a month for a convertible studio! Moving from Boston, we had no idea which neighborhood we would want to live in. I had been to 6 other listings from River North/West Loop and other spots in Old Town before I had seen 1225. I was meeting my realtor at the leasing office and I arrived about 30 minutes early. So I walked through Plum Market & got a coffee across the street at Starbucks and waited in the lobby for my realtor. I watched the interaction between the residents and front desk staff, it was warm, friendly and cordial. As soon as my realtor arrived, I told him he could cancel the rest of our appointments for the day. This was it! He looked at me and said, you haven't even seen it yet! haha, It felt like home from the moment I walked in. Once I went on the tour and viewed the amenities and apartment, I was sold. We have lived here for almost 6 months and we love it. The staff is fantastic and super responsive to anything we need. We love the neighborhood, it's only a few blocks to Clark/Division, the Lake, Michigan Ave and Lincoln Park. They have lots of fun events to socialize with other residents and a nice breakfast treat every Friday morning. A great place to live! read more

I recently visited this place to see a friend that lives there. I love going out in Old Town and was curious to see the building. To cold now but the pool and sundeck looks pretty awesome. I really enjoyed the social areas and demo kitchen, perfect for a small group. Pretty impressed with the views and finishes in the apt too. I was expecting junk and was pleasantly surprised. Plum Market is a luxury I imagine everyone loves. I don't even live that close and I try to go as often as I can because the store is so cool. The front desk people and staff I came across all seem genuinely caring and nice; which has not been the case other places I have been. They keep a nice looking lobby with fireplace too. I looked in the neighborhood years ago and didn't find the quality I was looking for but these guys are on my shortlist for when my lease is up this year. Everyone spends so much time on the negative. I figured why not take the time to give them a well deserved shout as a cool place! Way to go Old Town, you nailed it!! read more

I lived at 1225 Old Town for about 2 and 1/2 years and enjoyed my time there. I moved only because I decided to buy a condo instead of renting. The building is newer construction and everything in my apartment worked well. A few minor repairs were done promptly and professionally by the building maintenance staff with minimum hassle. The staff at reception are great, friendly and very helpful. It is great to have package delivery taken care of by reception and things you order stored and handed to you. The maintenance staff were always timely and professional. The current management staff are clearly trying hard to do a great job and they are friendly and professional. The building does allow pets and you should, of course, check out the appliances and HVAC that come with your apartment to make sure you are happy with the type provided. For me the appliances worked well and overall I was happy with the facilities. I really enjoyed the location on Wells Street in Old Town, and my new condo is also in Old Town. This is a great neighborhood and has much to offer. The building has a pool, hot tub, 11th floor deck with grills, and common rooms to use. There is a bike storage room and also an exercise room that I found very handy and well equipped. Indoor parking is available for a fee, and having the Plum Market in the same building is very convenient. read more
