Crispy garlic chicken, Ramen kdog, mango bubble tea

I came here with 8 ladies for lunch. I got the crispy garlic chicken and rice and let me tell you, it was the best chicken I've ever had ! It really was crispy. The flavor was amazing. I also tried a K-Dog. It's like a corn dog, but different. I loved it ! They have amazing strawberry boba tea. I have tried their other flavors and went with mango this time, but I always go back to their strawberry. Lastly, I got their blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Yummy ! It was more like pudding with a cheesecake flavor. It had a clear plastic liner holding everything together and you can see the layers thru it. This was so delicious ! All their desserts look so pretty I want to try everything ! All the ladies loved what they got also. If you have not been here, you are definitely missing out !!! It's a Vietnamese restaurant with a cute interior with fancy lights. You order at the counter and then go pick it up when it's ready. The staff is nice. I'll definitely be here on the regular !

Actually found this place by accident and I'm so glad that I did. I remember a couple years ago seeing that it was a Boba place, but I never knew they had food. I was looking for pho in the area and decided to give them a try. When we came in, Crystal was so welcoming. She helped us with the menu and even suggested some things for us to try. I ended up ordering the chicken pho (pho ga) and my boyfriend got the weekend special (even though it was Monday) of seafood udon or banh canh. I also ordered a dragon parade fruit tea. For the three things our bill was $41.51. We decided to dine it. It's a nice space with plenty of seating and a cute grass wall backdrop. Our food didn't take long it was brought out to us on a tray. You could see the steam coming out of the pho. There was so much flavor to both dishes. I had the option to add stuff like Sriracha, hoisin, chili paste etc but didn't feel like i needed it. I did add some lime. My pho had plenty of noodles which is always something I find other places short you on. The fruit tea was absolutely delicious. I loved the taste and also enjoyed getting strawberries and other fruit through the straw with every sip. Crystal came to our table several times to check on us. She explained the business a little bit and said it was her idea to add food to the menu which I agreed was a good call because it's so good. Food and customer service were both a hit and I'll definitely be back again.

This restaurant have been on my list for awhile. The location used to be Mr. Pho. This place is a little different from typical restaurants. You walk in and place your orders at the counter. Paid. Then they will give you a little buzzer. When it's ready. They will bring it out to you.. all items are disposable. Soo spoon for soup are a little flimsy. I just feel bad because they don't recycle nor reuse anything. Just my thoughts on that. However, place have a feel of a coffee shop. There's lounging area. Place to plug in your laptop if need be. On their Facebook page. They show you what's the special weekly.. what's different on Monday-Tuesday.. then a different menu from Friday-Sunday. Which I like. But today. Their chicken pho which are made with farm raised chicken is very good. Very flavorful and not oily: I also order a Vietnamese coffee. Very strong like liquid crack.

DON'T LISTEN to the awful reviews if you can't appreciate the smells and flavors of authentic Vietnamese cuisine just because you're used to Americanized Asian food. I had the Pork Chop combination. It was an orchestra of tasty Vietnamese goodness! The sweet fish sauce went so well with eggs, grilled-to-perfection pork, and veggies. Every bite was a combination of flavors that made me close my eyes as I savored them. My wife ordered the beef pho that was light and flavorful at the same time. Good amount of fresh veg and beef. Noodles were fresh and cooked to the right texture and chewiness. Staff were very friendly and helpful! The whole area is very nice and chill. They have comfy lounge couches so you can just chill and drink some boba or eat some yummy mochinuts. I also love that they have so many sauces for you to choose from. The sweet fish sauce is the way to go!

This is such a cute little restaurant. They have regular food as well as desserts. I ordered the mochi waffle and I really enjoyed the flavor of it. I really wish I could've topped it with strawberries and whipped cream, it would've made it so much better.I also tried the mochi glaze donut which was so much better than a regular donut. The service was good and everything was fresh. This is also a great place to take some cute pictures.

We were looking for a dessert spot after my doctor appointment and found this place through Yelp suggestions. I'm so glad we did! There is plenty of parking available, as well as indoor seating. The interior has a couple different areas that made for good photo opps. You go up to the counter to place your order and receive a buzzer that lets you m is when your food/drinks are ready. They carry a variety of sweet desserts, meaty food items, quick snacks and boba + fruit tea drink options. (Keep in mind some are only available while supplies last/on the weekend) The staff members were friendly and gave suggestions when asked. They were fairly quick in making our food. The Mochi is made fresh to order. There is a chewy consistency to their donuts (emphasis on the mochi) and I enjoyed every single flavor we ordered. I highly recommend the kimchi fries! They had the perfect amount of crispiness and crunch. The garlic bulgogi banh Mi was good, but as other reviews have mentioned - the toast is extremely soggy. I look forward to coming back.

Ours drink - royal coco, sunset paradise, and I forgot the name of last drink. All 3 are great

What I like the most about this location , it's a nice place to get together with loved ones. I normally order the drinks the most. My new favorite drink is Royal Coco. It's always on point and not overly sweet. The cashiers are very helpful.

It's a cute little boba tea place. They also serve a small variety of other snacks and entree meals. Order: Thai tea, garlic bulgogi banh mi, coffee donut I'm not an adventurous boba tea drink so I stick to the basics; Thai tea or oolong. Since they didn't offer oolong I had to order my only other option. Lol. The bulgogi was served with a very small side of kimchi. Sandwich was very good and flavorful. Wouldn't call it a banh mi because it wasn't served with the traditional Vietnamese baguette, maybe a sandwich or panini would be more appropriate. Nonetheless the bread choice paired well with the ingredients. I would suggesting having a larger side of kimchi; not just one leaf of cabbage. The donut was very good. Not overly sweet and had a nice crispy crunch topping. Excited to come back to try other menu items.

Sparkling teas and a lychee rose Mochidonut

What a pleasant surprise! We were just out running errands, and had no idea this place existed! We saw it as we drove towards one of our errands, and knew we had to look at the menu and see what was up. The menu convinced us to go give it a try. Don't be fooled by the name! While they have a lot of sweet desserts and teas, they also have a lot of savory food options! We have not found many places in Charlotte that have Korean corn dogs, so we knew we had to try them because we love them. We had previously only found them at one other place in Charlotte and were a little disappointed. However, these were delicious!!! We each had a different sparkling tea, both of which were very tasty. The lychee rose mochi donut was also very flavorful, light, and fluffy! The service was great. They were very helpful. It's pretty neat inside too! There's a great seating area, the decor is nice, and there's even some board games if you want to stay and enjoy yourselves for a while! We will definitely be back because there were so many things on the menu that we wanted to try. It's exciting that this place is just right around the corner from us! It'll definitely be a new frequent spot!

This is not what milk tea supposed to look like
    Huyen D.

I really wanted to love this place, especially because I'm all for supporting small businesses. However, this is the third time I've ordered through Yelp, which uses Grubhub, and they never seem to be able to find my order. The whole point of ordering online for me is to avoid the hassle of waiting in person, and that benefit is negated if the system doesn't work properly. To add to the frustration, when I finally received my house milk tea, it didn't look or taste like any milk tea I've had before. The tea was bitter and just tasted unusual. I wasted money on this. The quality is simply inconsistent, which is disappointing because I want to support local spots. With the various boba options available in town, this inconsistency makes it hard for me to return here.

While I ordered the boba teas and pho, my children wanted something sweet, which is why there's a second receipt for the donuts.

Today, around 1:45 PM, I had a deeply disappointing experience at Sweet Corner. My family and I have been regular customers for a while, and I've never had an issue--until now. I placed a substantial order: five teas (four with boba), chicken pho, and six donuts. A young kid at the register took my order, but it quickly became clear that things were going to go wrong. While waiting, I noticed the young staff behind the register goofing off and chatting, showing little regard for customers. When my order finally came out, two of the teas were wrong--they had milk in them, which I did not request. When I pointed this out, a young lady who came out from the kitchen responded with a dismissive attitude, saying, "Boba tea has milk," and added, "You should've been more specific and ordered green tea with boba for next time." I was taken aback, not only by her lack of accountability but also by her attitude. Both the young kid and the young lady exchanged smirks and shrugged at each other at least three times, as if my issue was a joke. I calmly explained that this behavior was incredibly unprofessional, especially in front of a customer. The young lady rudely responded, "I didn't take your order." To make matters worse, my concerns were completely ignored. When the manager came to the front, she didn't even bother to speak to me directly. Instead, she pulled the young lady aside privately, leaving me standing there with no resolution. I understand there are policies about no returns, but I should never have been treated like that--especially in front of my children. As a business owner, I take immense pride in providing my clients with the best possible experience. I know my clients can go anywhere, but they choose to come to me because I offer top-quality service and always show my gratitude for their business. Unfortunately, that is something I did not receive from Sweet Corner. The dismissiveness, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to correct a simple mistake made me feel undervalued as a customer. I was incredibly upset by how I was treated. I even explained my frustrations in Spanish to another employee I've seen before, hoping for some understanding. I let her know how hurtful it was to be treated so poorly, especially when I've always been a loyal customer. I told her that I didn't want to overreact, knowing that as a Black woman, I might be stereotyped for being upset. The employee I spoke to apologized for the way I was treated, and I greatly appreciated that. However, it was clear that the young staff at the front were either children or relatives of the owners. To make matters worse, when I got home, the boba tea tasted watered down, and the chicken pho was completely flavorless. The only thing that was even halfway decent was the donuts, but that couldn't make up for the poor service. I am extremely upset about how I was treated and will not be returning. The lack of accountability and professionalism is glaringly obvious, and if this is how they treat their customers, it's clear there's a bigger problem. I'll be sharing my experience with others so that they can avoid the frustration I dealt with.

I was so psyched to learn that this place has Mochi Donuts, so I ran over there as fast as I could! Well, let me get some negatives out of the way. They were out of some things featured in Yelp pics...like the Ube Waffle or the Thai Tapioca Soup (not sure the exact name), so that was a big bummer. I tried their Bulgogi Garlic Bahn Mi...and well, I was NOT a fan of this! Though very substantial in size, with a generous portion of Bulgogi, Eggs and more, the Garlic Bread was ridiculously greasy. It was sopping wet...which kinda grossed me out. I just took a few bites of this very expensive sandwich. WHY so greasy?!? If based on this sandwich, I would have rated this a 2. HOWEVER...now comes the good part. Their Mochi Donuts were AWESOME!! I think these donuts were actually better than the ones at Moji Teahouse, the only other place that offers Mochi Donuts in Charlotte for the moment (although big chains like Mochinuts may be coming soon). 1368 Mochi Donuts had a lighter taste, which I liked...and just as important, these donuts were MUCH nicer in presentation. Better formed Mochi rings and more decorative overall! SO Pretty!! Best of all, there were 15 flavors to choose from...with some of my favorites (Matcha, Black Sesame and Ube!) In most Mochi Donut shops, they usually offer only a choice of 6 flavors...though these flavors change weekly. Not sure if they change flavors here as well, but I loved having the option to choose from more flavors than most. In any case, I bought a half dozen box to bring home...and all I can say is that these donuts were a hit with me and my 2 boys! I loved that they offered a fun variety of sweets...from Mochi Donuts, to Waffles and Macarons. They also offer a few varieties of Korean Hot Dogs...though they were much smaller in size than the authentic versions. May need to check that out next time? BTW, I also tried their Green Milk Tea with Boba. It was pretty good, but VERY milky/creamy...almost too much so? Surprisingly, this cafe was quite lofty and spacious...as it stretched out fairly long in its unique layout. I thought they did a great job with the props and the decor...enough to give the place a bit of ambiance. THE only thing I found disappointing was their tableware/napkin station. It was very unruly...and there weren't any forks. There were also some other hits and misses on my first visit here, but am too tired to go into further details...so I'll just leave by saying that the good (Great Mochi Donuts!) definitely outweighed the bad (Greasy Bulgogi Garlic Bahn Mi!). Despite some disappointments, I loved their Mochi Donuts so much that I must drop them 5 stars.

Dinner at Saigon Palace with friends is always a good idea…read more This was one of those nights where the table just kept filling up with dishes and everyone shared everything family-style. Summer rolls, quail, noodle dishes, pho, and of course the beef and broccoli that I am constantly telling people to order. Once again, it delivered. Tender beef, great flavor, huge portion, and everybody at the table immediately understood why I keep talking about it. This is the kind of restaurant that works best when you order a bunch of dishes and let everyone try a little of everything tapas-style. The portions are generous and very shareable. The staff here is also genuinely helpful. They made recommendations for our table, checked in often, and kept everything moving smoothly even with a larger group. Another underrated bonus is the parking. They have their own lot, which in Charlotte honestly deserves appreciation all by itself. Easy access too, especially if you are coming from the freeway or busy parts of town. If you love Vietnamese food, this place is absolutely worth adding to your regular rotation. Great pho, great noodle dishes, friendly service, and consistently delicious food. Life is too short to not eat well. Get out there and eat your way through Charlotte.
