Food was really good, we went out for a birthday dinner with friends and a few kids. The waiter was very busy and missed a few things but did grab them as soon as we reminded him, it was very busy. Everything was fresh and very flavorful, good vibes.

It was my first time hearing about and visiting this establishment. We were greeted in a very professional manner. The restaurant's decor was plain, but overall, it had a pleasant atmosphere. Our server, named Chelsea, came to the table and took our orders. She was so pleasant and professional. She didn't make you feel like you were just a number, but she was very engaging, and I appreciated that about her. We ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Meat & Shrimp Fried Rice with extra crab meat and extra shrimp. We also ordered the Spicy Stir-Fry Udon, which consisted of beef, onions, scallions, and broccoli. We ordered the mixed vegetables as well. The fried rice entree wasn't what I was accustomed to seeing it look like. It wasn't as savory as I'm used to, so I definitely added soy sauce to it. The Udon dish was okay, but it's not something that I would order again. The mixed vegetables were delicious. I wasn't really overwhelmed with the food in a good way, but I would like to go back and try other items on the menu because the food wasn't bad, but just different. Give them a try.

Wow this place was delicious. I enjoyed the homemade chilli oil. I ate it with everything. The seafood soup was yummy, I ate the whole thing. The duck and the curry was good too! Service was awesome. Made sure that our drinks were filled and always check on me. The restaurant was clean and very relaxing. So if you're in the area stop by and give it a try!!!

I came on a Tuesday with a friend. We ordered the fresh catch special seafood soup ( crab meat, shrimp, scallops), japanese style pork curry, and a half of duck for dinner. The place is clean and good for groups. The dining area is an average compact size. Everything we ordered came out fresh and hot. We enjoyed our first visit it was soooo yummy. Staff and service are excellent!! It was a busy weekday, but the wait time is short to none. I can't wait till next time to try other menu items!!!

Went here for dinner with friends. We had a very knowledgeable waitress who answered our questions about the vast menu choices. We ordered the very popular half of roast duck, kingdom chicken ( sweet and sour ) ,a sizzling shrimp dish ( shrimp teppanyaki ) with yum yum sauce and vegetarian spring rolls. Food was very tasty, plated nicely, and came out hot with good portion size. Prices are reasonable for what you get. I found the roast duck somewhat hard to eat because of the bones bur it still was enjoyable. I'd return and try a different menu item.

Came here for dinner with friends. The ambience was fine like typical Asian fusion Chinese place. Our server was attentive and make sure we got our drinks refills. Our friends ordered cast iron chicken fried rice skillet, jumbo lump crab meat and shrimp fried rice, fried pot stickers, and sweet and sour chickens. We ordered fried golden buns, SHRIMP AND CHICKEN UDON WITH BLACK PEPPER SAUCE, MISO BUTTER CORN RAMEN, HONG KONG CHAR SIU, a side of fried rice. For the dessert both families ordered the bubble waffle. We think the food were okay. The Hongkong Char siu aka Cantonese pork bbq came out very late and it was cold and need more salt or more flavor, in my opinion. The best flavor food was the cast ironed skillet shrimp fried rice and the bubble waffle with the ice cream and all the cereal toppings. We don't think we'll be back since we just here visiting Charlotte.

What a fun yummy dessert especially just share. Don't eat too much so you can enjoy it!

My son took me here on mother's Day and I really didn't know what to expect. I so appreciated the steady pace service and recommendations for new flavors. We didn't feel rushed or interrupted and the food was amazing. Such a cool little spot too.

Plenty of parking this place is located in a strip mall. We were greeted at the door and seated. Place is lively with a vibrant ambiance. We started off with salt & pepper fried chicken and potstickers. The entrees were great and plentiful we all left full and with leftovers. Food was freshly made with great ingredients. You won't regret eating here. Oh and our waitress Ana was great!!!

We started with the pork gyoza, which were delivered quickly and were delicious. For our entrees, I had the Tonkotsu Black with added braised tofu, and my husband had the Spicy Tantan. I don't usually like eggs in my ramen (because they are never cooked enough), but Menya cooked theirs perfectly soft boiled, and I loved the flavor the egg added to the soup. Both soups had complex flavors, and we loved them. The tofu was great--thinly sliced and flavorful, if a bit salty--but I am not sure I'd need it again. My husband thought his soup was perfectly spicy. A note about parking - if you can park in the lot in front of the building, you scan a QR code, and open a parking time block. (I believe Menya paid for a 2-hour block.) You then enter the information on an iPad at the back of the restaurant to validate your parking and start the clock. It was easier than I expected, and I'd definitely use this parking service again. And if you can't get a spot in the lot in front of the building, you can park on the neighborhood streets just one or two blocks away. All told, it was a great meal for a reasonable cost. We'll definitely return!

I also liked how loud the overhead music was...but sadly, it was elevator music. Very dated. If it was something a bit more contemporary (metro lounge?), it would have been way nicer. Now, the food! I ordered their Doza Ramen, which looked spicy from the pictures...but I ended up with a very mild broth, with hardly any red chile sauce or spice to it at all. I even asked if they can add more chili and/or spice to it, and the waitress basically said that's not possible (What?!? Of course you can!!). Anyway, she said I can add Siracha sauce. (???) Guess she assumed this was the first time I had ramen lol?!? The Pork Chashu was nice and tender, but very small portion...and a tiny portion of ground pork (of beef?) and mushroom as well. Just skimpy toppings all around...yet this bowl was priced 18 bucks. I also hated how they didn't even bother to split open the egg. Also, I wasn't a fan of their super-thin noodles either. Just look at how unappetizing this bowl looked! So basically, this ramen struck out on several accounts. Possibly the weakest ramen I've had in a restaurant in years?? I managed to down at least one third of it though. Then this Sampler Tempura. While the portion of plentiful, I thought the batter was weak...and well, some of the veggie tempura just tasted BAD. Especially the Brussel Sprouts (which I normally love) had this sour taste to it? I was also disappointed that they didn't include Broccoli in the mix. I was only able to eat half of this. Just not that good. I just can't sugarcoat it. I was not into their ramen or this sampler tempura. Both too mild...very bland. Also...they charge you an additional dollar if you use credit card. Something I don't recall seeing on the menu. Given such high ratings from Yelp, I had high hopes for this place...but I left scratching my head. I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.

Between the awful attitude from the owner and the unsanitary conditions, I would never recommend anyone eat here. Once we got there we were sat down immediately. Once seated our server, very polite Spanish young woman came to greet us and took our orders. The server even recommended a kids meal for our daugther. So far so good. Our food comes and we realized we have no utensils and my daughter's noodles had no broth in it. It was dry noodles. The server comes back asked us if we needed anything and we said yes can we have some utensils please? A fork and some chopsticks and broth for my daughters noodles. They are dry. She says sure no problem and leaves. Now while we are waiting two Spanish women we seated behind us. In the time we were waiting the two guest behind us placed their orders and got their food. When the server comes back she hands us 3 pairs of chopsticks and garlic. Walks back to the two women and hands one of them a fork. Still no fork or broth my daughter's noodles. My wife had to pour the broth from her ramen into our daughter's bowl so she can eat. The server comes back again with 3 GOT DAMN SPOONS and says she couldn't find any more forks. So in the entire restaurant theirs not ONE FORK. I said but you just gave those customers a fork. Pointing to the guest behind us. She says sorry and walks over to the guest behind us. The server starts talking to the guest in Spanish but little does she know I speak Spanish. The server starts complaining about us to the guest saying that we're asking for too many things and we need to shut up and just eat our food. when I told my wife that they're talking about us, she immediately asked for the manager we explained our situation and the manager immediately comped our meal.
