We stopped by 14 Bis for lunch because the airplane theme looked fun, and it definitely delivered on that. The cabin-style seating and little details make it a unique place, especially if you have kids. The pizzas were really good, and we also enjoyed the dessert pizza. The service, though, was disappointing. It was just my son and me in the restaurant during a mid-afternoon lunch, and it still took close to 30 minutes for our food to come out. It wasn't busy, so that was surprising. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was being told that a 20% tip was the standard for the house. I always tip based on the service I receive, but I don't think customers should feel pressured into a specific amount, especially when the service didn't match the expectation. Overall, I'd recommend it for the fun atmosphere and good pizza, but they need to improve the speed of service and let customers decide their own tip without making it feel expected. read more

Cute little restaurant with an airplane theme. It was clean and quiet. The waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the lunch pizza with sausage and onions, a garlic sfihas and a brigadeiro sfihas. We loved the sfihas. They had a bunch of different options of savory and sweet ones. We would definitely return for the sfihas. The pizza was not a big hit because it didn't have a lot of flavor. The toppings were very generous but the sausage didn't really have any flavor. We haven't had Brazillian pizza before so maybe it was just that it was different than what we are used to. I saw this airplane themed restaurant on an Instagram reel so that prompted me to check it out with a friend. I felt like it was speaking to me because I love to travel and eat. I had never had Brazilian pizza before so this was something new for me. The pizza here is ooey gooey and very cheesy. My Caipirinha cocktail was super strong and reminded me of a Cuban mojito. I had a lot of fun dining here because I let my imagination run free and pretended I was eating on a plane. Just fyi... the whole restaurant is not set up this way. Ambiance - I went for this! The amazing food was a bonus. I was a bit disappointed that the airplane booths were only two and confined to one wall, therefore I could not take the pictures I wanted as the booths were already occupied. Warning - the social media pictures make it feel like the entire restaurant is set up this way - or at least thematic to more than just two booths. With that said, will I return? YES! The food here is also very delicious and was so new and exciting for me to try! I tried the coxinhas, the 4 cheese sfiha, the calabresa sausage sfiha with onions, the a la mode pizza, and the brigadeiro sfiha. The coxinhas are a fried chicken wrapped in dough appetizer and the sfihas are mini pizzas. I really liked the sfihas because it allows you to try more flavors. I took my husband, who loves aviation, out to dinner here for his birthday last night. I wasn't sure what to expect because reviews seemed a bit all over the place. This place was a solid 5 star experience for us...which I don't give lightly (generally everything falls into the 4 star good but missing a key element category, for me) The pizza is Brazilian, so much of the menu doesn't have traditional red sauce. I really loved the food and feel like it should be judged for its own merits. If you want traditional American/Italian pizza there are a ton of great ones in town. These Brazilian pizzas have great soft, slightly sweet crust and fresh ingredients. I especially enjoyed the calabasa that was on one of the pizzas. Get the Brazilian cream cheese on EVERYTHING, you won't regret it. The only slightly note I'd give is the corn pizza didn't look like the one in the menu, it was probably our least favorite. The service was very friendly. They were also speedy checking us out at the end when I had to leave in a hurry. (Our fault as we were having such a fun time, we lost track of time). Our bill was only $40ish dollars which I think is a very good deal for Orlando. The interior is aviation themed. They only have 2 tables of six that have the airplane seats, so if you must sit in them, call ahead. I am looking forward to going back and bringing friends. Once again, I feared problems at this location, and I wasn't going to review it, as I hadn't done before. However, at JOAO's request (if he isn't the owner of the pizzeria, I recommend specific training for him on working with the public and self-control), here's my unfortunate experience. Today, once again, we placed an order over the phone and were given a 25-minute delivery estimate. After 35 minutes, we arrived to pick up the pizza, and like the last four times we ordered, it hadn't even started. Then the girl at the counter, after taking payment, informed us that there were still three orders ahead and it would take another 30 minutes. At that point, my wife asked what had happened and if it was possible to start making it right away. The attendant very "politely" said she wouldn't do that and told her to leave the counter, as she had other people to serve, without even giving us the receipt for our payment, leaving her without any explanation or request for explanation. At that point, my wife questioned her again, quite rightly, because we weren't going to wait another 30 minutes, after waiting for the first 35 minutes for the order over the phone. The attendant then left and went to the back of the pizzeria. At that moment, the main character of the story appears, João the Bully, at least with women... He, now altered, told my wife that every time we went there, we caused a disturbance, but why? Could it be that every time the pizza was ready? Is it because we paid for a stuffed crust and forgot to add it? It's clear that it's not us, the customers, who are confused, but rather the poorly trained and disrespectful staff. Then, the friendly JOAO told my wife to leave and not come back to the pizzeria, because the girl behind the counter had gone to cry in the back of the pizzeria because she was upset. Yes, he told my wife to leave, after she had already paid and was waiting for her order. My wife was treated poorly, but she remained polite and respectful the entire time, simply asking for a solution to the problem. But the employee, extremely arrogant, lacking the emotional structure to handle customer service, with rude responses and provocative smiles, showed no respect at all. The situation wasn't made worse by the fact that a young man, who presented himself as the manager, personally made our pizza and then came to apologize for what happened, saying that the orders in the kitchen were all late and he was trying to fix the mess. Just as we criticize the incompetent employees who work there, we must praise those who do their jobs well and try to solve the problem and not make it worse, as the bully JOAO did. So, as a lesson learned, I recommend training the team on how to serve and respect customers, because the pizzeria's reputation ends up being tarnished by employees who ignore customer dissatisfaction, tell them to leave, never return, and write negative reviews, even pointing to their badges and saying, "It's JOAO." Note: If the bully JOAO isn't the owner of the pizzeria or his son (which wouldn't justify this behavior), you should be wary. A regrettable experience! read more

Have been wanting to try this place because I heard about the airline theme plus I've never had Brazilian pizza before. It was much smaller than I expected. They only have 2 tables with airline seats. Obviously those are the most popular seats. We sat at a regular table. Service was good but there was a bit of a language barrier. Our waiter is from Brazil, and he was struggling a bit to understand English. But we didn't mind and just repeated ourselves slowly or pointed to the menu. There are so many choices of pizzas on the menu, which can be overwhelming. We ordered Supreme, so we can compare it to what we know. It had no mushrooms and had red & green olives. It also had a ton of ham and minimal pepperoni. The dough itself is more like a hand tossed soft dough but a bit thinner. If you eat the crust, you can definitely taste the sweetness in it. The dough was mushy and kind of sweet, the portuguesa toppings were also all ground and mushy with no taste at all, ground eggs, ground ham, tasteless olives, no sauce, no seasoning, heavy and tasteless. If you want to be treated poorly by adults acting like teenagers - by all means go waste your money at this establishment. They attended the people that got there after us, and they got there food before us. Which wasn't a big deal. I also wasn't offered a high chair for my 2 year old, also not a big deal. I also waited at least 15 minutes before someone attended us. The servers were mostly standing behind the counters talking to one another before they noticed I needed to be attended. The Airline/airplane theme is so unique, they even have an area (first class) that has tables with couches. The pizza menu has so much variety. We had the 8slices size with half 14Bis and half A la Carte and it was so smooth and different. They put boiled eggs in some pizzas and a cream cheese base sauce that is very good!
