I'm sad to say that I've had a perfect experience with 148Print, but someone I recommended would give a 1-star review. There's nothing more heartbreaking than raving about a business then having them let down a referral. The owner of 148Print prefers communication over phone call rather than email, which is fine. I had no issues placing my requests online and having follow-up done offline, but my referral didn't even hear back. While my print was to standard, he didn't even receive what was requested. No notification of production or follow-up. Pretty sure I should be more invested since it was for our wedding, but I'd like to hear the other side of the story. read more

It really pains me to write this review because I loved working with them before, but this time around I've been trying to get a simple quote for more than a few months. There is no website which is fine, and I've been doing the responsible thing of calling back to see what the issues and hold up are and have been patient, but I still haven't gotten what I needed. At first there was issue with their servers withholding certain emails, which is understandable, but it took me calling more than 5 times to learn this. Then when Ric promises to call me back after a meeting or more important customers (more than once) to ensure that my quote is received, he never calls back even if I call... Even if it wasn't his intention it made me feel like my project compared to other customers isn't important. I wanted to be ahead because it's not for me, but my non profit organization and I kind of ruined their timeline because I so stubbornly wanted to work with this place. Ric is fantastic, truly a heart of gold. I was in desperate need of urgent printing late at night, and called 148 Print to see if they were still open. The business had closed hours ago, the print job that I had was small and not profitable at all, and Ric had already packed up for the day and turned off the printers. Ric had every justification to say no to the job; instead, he went out of his way to turn the printers back on, stay late, and wait for me to drive across town to pick it up. When I showed up, I tried to give Ric a tip for his trouble, and he flatly refused, just happy that he could help me out in a time of need - "just pay it forward and help someone else out," he said. This was a small but crucial print job, and Ric understood that it was important to communicate well, despite the late hour. I received consistent email & text updates about the status of the job throughout, and it was done in a very timely manner. John, Doug and their team are outstanding! They have amazing turn around time, fabulous customer service and unbelievable quality. They are so flexible and handle last minute changes with ease. This place is not real. They took my nonprofit's payment and never delivered anything to us. They sent loads of grammatically poor and misspelled emails full of far-fetched excuses about the "delay." It's a total hoax. Do not waste your money or time here. read more

Wow! They took over ground control press and still offer the great pricing and quick turn times, but now they get back to you right away. I threw a hail Mary email to them last Friday night. I needed business cards and a brochures before my 5am flight- copy mat let me down. 148 Print was a blessing this weekend. We had an order of 100 full-color flyers that needed overnight printing. I was able to call at 10PM and it was not a problem to have the flyers printed by morning. Shortly after sending along my file and payment, I received an email that the first print hadn't looked great, and to send a higher quality file. 148 Print could have allowed the printed flyers to be low-quality, but they went out of their way to make sure their product was the best it could be.
