My husband I came here based on the reviews. We had the combo appetizer platter, pad see ewe with chicken, and so ba with shrimp. The appetizer platter contained greasy egg rolls filled with mushy cabbage, some good fried chicken wings, good won ton, dry fried chicken strips, and tasteless crab Rangoon. Appetizers were served with four sauces, all of which were pretty boring. The peanut sauce tasted like thinned peanut butter. The pad see ew noodles were mushy and the sauce for the dish lacked any of the bright flavors traditionally associated with Thai food. The dish was boring. The so ba noodles were also mushy, the shrimp was not fresh and overcooked, and the sauce was flavorless. We will never return. read more

My husband and I ordered Panang Curry, but sadly, it had no coconut milk. It is the coconut that we are after. The waitress seemed good, but she brought my husbands's meal out 5 minutes before mine. We ordered the Pad see ew with chicken and Panang curry with chicken ... Pad see ew was very good! We camp up in this area every year and are always looking for a new restaurant to try out. When we saw the 151 Thai Bistro I thought there was no way there could be good Thai food in this area! Well, the other reviews don't lie, this place is excellent! My wife and son ordered fried rice dishes, my daughter got The Vegetarian Pra Ram Noodles and I had the Cashew Nut Stir Fry. All of our dinners were quite tasty and service was good. It was our waitress's first night on the job and we had a lot of fun with her. My only concern would be the restrooms. My wife and I both commented about their run down nature. Not a big deal, but every little bit helps. In the end I think we've found a restaurant that we'll put on the agenda every year. read more

The food is acceptable. No, it is not authentic. (Would you really expect authentic Thai food in this part of the country?) However, what really ruined the experience was the sloooooooooooow service. We walked in on a Saturday evening. There were only about 6 tables occupied, none of them large parties, but it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Review would be a 2.5 if could do half stars. Went at a very slow time on a Sunday, not much open in iron mountain on a Sunday. Soup they offer with the meal was cold, bland. Highlight was the crab ragoon- very well done. Nice frying, good amount of filling; definitely some of the best I've had. My husband had pad Thai which he liked a lot and I thought was pretty good, too. I had the green curry- it was horrible. I have this dish all the time at Thai restaurants, so I know what to expect. The dish was thin and runny like they didn't use coconut milk, or they watered it down. The "crab" was actually imitation crab, which is crazy considering the price ($16 I think). If I had known it wasn't real crab I would have gotten a different protein. The worst part was you can't tell them how spicy to make it- they just make it really spicy, and the server didn't indicate that it was so spicy. I told her I didn't want too spicy- I told her I like it mild+. She said they put a pepper in it. That doesn't tell me how spicy it is and she should have said something given that I told her I didn't want too spicy. It was inedible. I like some spice, but this was painful. Why wouldn't you let your customers tell you how spicy to make it? Honestly I don't know if it would have been good with less spice; the base was so thin and unappetizing. Worst part was the server just said "sorry" and no offer to remedy it. Then asked if we wanted to put the tip on the credit card and stood in front of us and watched as we wrote in the tip. Have eaten here several times and have not been disappointed. My favorite type of food is Thai food and while this isn't anywhere near my favorite resturant, I am consistently happy with my meal. I've had several curries and pineapple fried rice which have been good. No one in my group has been disappointed with their meal either. read more

It is decent. If you are craving Thai this can be your fix but the quality is certainly lacking. The curry we got Togo was oozing in oil and lacked flavor. The drunken noodles were decent but many of the noodles were hard and stringy-- inedible. read more

Ordered the fresh spring rolls, was to include ground pork and shrimp as stated on the menu, I received fresh springs with a very small amount of chicken. She states had I confirmed with her, she would have told me that the menu was incorrect. I shouldn't have to confirm what I am expecting to get based on the menu. We ate here within the first couple weeks of their opening but did not care for it. The veggies were big, the gravy was dark ad soupy and the flavorings weren't what we expected. It took until now to try it again, and I'm sorry to say it will be the last time. The Sizzling Seafood was not sizzling, it was soup. And it had 6 octopus in it, and many things I did not recognize. I realize they all qualified as being seafood, but what were they? It wasn't flavorful, VERY fishy and spicy hot. A big disappointment as I was being treated and didn't want to say how bad I thought it was. We ordered fried wontons thinking they were crab rangoons, our mistake. But when I looked up the difference, the wontons should have had pork centers at least. What we received were 10 tiny fried pieces of dough. There was nothing in them. And they were very hard and crunchy. Sorry to say we threw them away, at $6.95 a plate. We will continue to go across the border (a whole 15 min from here) and eat traditional Thai, good food, cooked fresh, and authentic at a much more reasonable price. read more
