Instead of addressing my question, the employee spoke to him, and he simply made a face and put his finger to his lips. She then laughed and began helping the previous customer, leaving me standing there. I tried getting her attention a couple of times, but she just repeated that she was helping another customer and never came back to explain why I couldn't be served. There were plenty of cake slices on display, yet no one could give me a reason why I wasn't allowed to purchase one. The lack of communication and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. The stars of the show here for me though are the bakery items. Whether it's the cakes, donuts, or pastries, I've never had anything here I didn't like. Some favorites for me are the Napoleons, Lobster Tail, Linser Tarts, and Black & White cookies. My wife loves the Red Velvet Cupcakes and the Cannolis. The Thanksgiving pies from here are always a huge hit. If you haven't been to Sorrento's Bakery, check it out. I'm planning on stopping here for many more years!
