Came here on two separate occasions. First time the guy running the place told me my car failed my smog and when asked why or for more information, he pointed to my paper and said I don't know, I can't tell you, go to a mechanic. So after going to a mechanic and getting it fixed, I came back for the free smog check. Again, my car failed and feeling frustrated I asked what the reason I failed was for, he pointed to my paper again where it said catalyst and said he didn't know, and to go to a mechanic again. He was very rude both times refusing to further explain what the problem was. I ended up going to another smog place down the street to ask for some explanation and they were much nicer there explaining why i failed. They also mentioned that I was the second person to come to them from this place complaining that this guy is very rude and doesn't like to give reason. My car had a check engine light and a tire pressure light on. I came here to get my smog. I was the first one in and was super nice. The guy proceeded to charge me and run the smog test. Then the car failed and he proceeded to tell me that any indicator lights being on will cause the car to fail the smog test. He might have been a decent person and tell me that before he ran the smog test and charge me $60 since how could you miss the lights being on. He was fast... but still felt it was kind of a fail in the decent human being test. read more

This place is such a hidden gem! I stumbled upon here after going through so many different locations that refused to give me a smog check because my car is from Nevada. I just needed a smog to renew my tags from out of state because I'm a student here; I didn't need to register my car in California which is what everyone else didn't let me explain. As a young woman it's so difficult to find any automotive work without being taken advantage of or seen as ignorant.
