The Austrian went best with the lobster ravioli in my opinion.
Bernard M.

Had the lobster ravioli entree. Stupendous. Lobster filled! Delicious. I asked for a wine recommendation and the staff came through with bells on. Service was over the top from the minute I entered the front door. Super friendly and fun. The atmosphere is chill casual and very hip. An amazing selection of curated wines and drinks. Ommegang on Tap!

Came here with some friends for dinner. We made a reservation for Saturday evening and was seated in the back room which is more quiet from the front away from the bar. Our server was excellent and checked on us frequently. I ordered the hanger steak it wasn't too hot when I received it. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium, it was a bit bland. It did have a reduction sauce on top I was wishing there was more. They have some signature cocktails to pick from and full bar menu, drinks were good and strong.

Service was good parking can be tricky but there is a lot near Trader Joe's. I've driven by this place a thousand times. My friend and I made reservations for 730 but running late they changed it to 8 no problem. Drinks came out and my wine was dripping (no napkins) and got on my jeans. They said when we order food to order our appetizer too so they come out correctly. We order mussels with chorizo yum but quite a few mussels were dead and inedible. I ordered the hanger steak and my friend the lobster ravioli. She also had the cucumber cooler which she said was very refreshing. Food was not bad but a tad overpriced for the quality my opinion. May come back for apps and drinks

Mussels & Chorizo Plate $10 DELICIOUS

Such a great place to have drinks and eat delicious food. The staff will treat you with the utmost kindness and are attentive. Perks if you're a regular. I can see why there were tons of regular folks there. Almost like a "Cheers" bar. Bartender Ashley was so cool and was ready for anything we wanted to order. More of an older crowd kind of place, but I loved it and the live band they had on Tuesday night was a sweet added bonus. Located in a great town. Parking a bit challenging but luckily I got there early and found a spot across the street by the bank. (After hours). A very nice place to catch up with friends and/or just have a outstanding meal. There menu selection was tempting. I opted for their crazy delicious mussels & chorizo which was popping with flavored. I happily dipped my bread more than I should have in the broth it came with. I can't go to bar and not have my all time favorite...wings. They were perfect with spicy Buffalo flavor and cooked perfectly. Not soggy. I was happy girl. Looking forward to coming back without a doubt.

Great restaurant, chill and romantic ambiance, very attentive service, and incredibly tasty food. This is a real gem of a restaurant, and a perfect date spot!

Much better good than expected for a bar/pub. Terrific and friendly wait staff. We had oysters and they were fresh and delicious. The artichoke appetizer was also very good, especially with the crusty bread. Definitely would return to this place.

I've only come here once and it was to have a drink with friends after dinner and this place was still opened . The storefront looks like it would be nice on the inside but it's just regular to me and I wasn't that impressed. Drinks were mediocre- a lil too strong for my taste I did not have any food here so I can't comment on that

Artisanal Cheese Plate

Unfortunately, I will not be returning. The cheese board platter actually made me laugh when it got to the table and I had to take a picture. I mean just look at it ... looks like a child made it. The cheeses were good, but the presentation was horrible and the crackers tasted cheap. It was also frustrating because we requested to sit by the windows at the high tops and we were told that only 21+ customers may sit there. The restaurant wasn't crowded and we were forced to sit in the back of the restaurant which felt very stuffy. Totally not the vibe I expected. I also wish they offered a regular bun option for the burgers instead of an English muffin

We booked a karaoke room for an hour for 6 people on a Thursday evening, and while the singing was fun, the service was below subpar. When we arrived, we did not have a full menu available to us in the room, so it took a few mins to get our order in. Our server kept close tabs of every minute in karaoke, but not the food. It took over 60 minutes to get our wings! Apparently there was some sort of mix up in the kitchen & while we were understanding, what threw us for a loop was that even though our wings were DELAYED, our server was hesitant to offer complimentary time in our karaoke room while we waited. Right at the 60-minute mark, he was quick to offer two options - our wings to go or a table in the dining room. In the end, we had to negotiate an extra hour in the karaoke room since our food took SO long to come out. When paying the check, we were surprised to see a charge for food we never ever received! I'm super disappointed that they tried to take advantage of us, when we were very understanding of their mix up. In my opinion, servers could use a lesson or two in customer service. Never in my time in hospitality, have I ever behaved in the way they did.

I dared to try the cauliflower wings (half & half), which actually wasn't bad. Both flavors was good, although I personally like the spicy better (just make sure you can handle it, although it won't be too bad if you're used to spicy food). Garlic fried rice was okay, but not the best. Also seems like they don't give you a side of pickled radish at this point, but maybe that's because we're in Jersey. Also the kimchi fries weren't what I expected. What the fries were crispy and tasty, they just give you a tiny cup of kimchi cheese sauce. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I expected the fries to be way more loaded. I ordered for pickup and it did take a lot longer than expected. I also felt sorry for the hostess, who was running around trying to help. There also was 5 people just standing around chatting, but the music was just a tad too loud to hear anyone trying to get their attention. I'm sure dining in would be a chill vibe, but can still have that and have it all together yk? Last thing is I definitely asked for bacon mustard sauce and heard them confirm over the phone, a bit annoyed they forgot that!

Dinner started with a complimentary amuse bouche of toast with brie, jam, and microgreens which was a nice surprise. For starters we shared the Pan Seared Foie Gras and the Steak Tartare which is made with raw diced Black Angus, shallot, garlic, parsley, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, and croutons. Both were delicious. We also tried the escargot in garlic and parsley infused butter. While I personally prefer my escargot tucked into puff pastry hats which is a quirky preference, I know my boyfriend at the time thoroughly enjoyed them. For mains we had a beautifully cooked rack of lamb, a flavorful confit duck, and a mushroom risotto. While I found the entrées slightly under salted, the flavors were still wonderful and the cooking was spot on. We finished with two desserts which were a silky creme brulee and a perfectly risen souffle. Both were outstanding and worth saving room for. Overall Chez Catherine is a charming choice for a refined special occasion, 'old school' traditional French meal. The service, attention to detail, and classic flavors make it well worth a visit.

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

I called in for a big party, and they did an excellent job with the table-setting & location. Secondly, the food: Their apps are absolute winners. Our table got the Bavarian Soft Pretzel ($12) and the 12-piece wings ($22). Both came out hot and full-of-flavor! Both were excellent with a cold beer. For my main, I actually got a special which was not on their main menu. It was a Fajita Burger served with (you guessed it...) fajita fries. I added jalapenos for an extra kick. It was very good, but the buns are quite thick, so I actually just ate it with the bottom bun intact. The burger patty itself is quite thick which I enjoyed in this current smash-burger phase our world is currently in. Don't sleep on a pub burger. From the outside, it didn't look like anything special or a place to rave about but I quickly learned why it was all the talk with them. Since it was a Saturday night, they had a nice crowd and the place itself had a feel of both a sports bar and a brew pub. The one side was more of a sports bar type of feel (or setup) and the other half had more of a brew pub type of feel. After looking at the menu, I decided to go with the healthier choice so I ordered the Drunken Parm Sandwich. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich when it came out because it looked very good and like it was made fresh. Almost immediately, the server came over to me to let me know that they made me real chicken rather than the vegetarian chicken and said she would take it back for the vegetarian chicken. I opted to keep it since I knew there was a chance it would probably get thrown out. I took one bite of the sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the BEST chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. It was piping hot and tasted fresh. From the chicken, to the sauce, to the bun, it all tasted fresh and practically melted in my mouth. It was a little on the salty side but aside from that, it was made to perfection. To top the night, as we were paying the bill, our server Maya (who was very friendly and tentative during our visit) handed me a take out container with the veggie chicken parm sandwich in it AND the general manager Greg came over to me to apologize for the mistake and said the veggie chicken parm was on the house. It's very rare for me that this happens. I wish I lived closer to Paragon so I can go back more often but believe me, I'll be back there for drinks and dinner next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend going there. Their service, food, and drinks will not disappoint.

Though residing in a small former train station, it doesn't feel overly cramped, and the service was attentive enough to keep people moving. The meal itself felt a little over the top, with lots of flavors that didn't always meld well. We started with Nachos with Manchego Queso, which were not worth $18 even though the flavor was good. The order wasnt quite enough for two hungry people, though we also didn't opt for additional protein on top. We went with tacos for our main dish, and there we found the chicken to be the clear winner. The meat was hot, juicy, and complete with a hint of spice that brought the heat in all the right ways. Unfortunately, the brisket felt like the opposite experience, suffering from a sauce that had far too earthy of a flavor, which wasn't well-balanced with the cilantro that covered the meat. I needed to douse these ones in the spicy side sauce to make them palatable. Finally, we tried maize fries out of curiosity. I am no longer curious about corn fries - they were bland, with a texture and look of a French toast stick but with none of the satisfying taste. If I returned, I'd do it for drinks in the beautiful bar area. But when the drinks are done and it's time to eat, I'd recommend hitting the tracks.
