Had asked for 1 inch off the top, and he took off double. Also asked for medium drop fade and gave me an ultra high fade. He acknowledged my request for a mid drop fade and then later after my haircut he asked "what's a drop fade?" After he completely removed all my hair. Wish he would've asked me what was a drop fade before he cut my hair so I knew to go choose a different barber shop. In conclusion, he pretty much ignored my request and did whatever he wanted to do. Stay away, I called to setup an appointment and the guy quickly says we only do walk ins and hung up as I was trying to say okay thank you so I called back to say it was a little rude and then he said "sorry I hurt your feelings" and hangs up AGAIN. So I went in person and said that's not how you treat customers and asked to speak to the owner and HE CALLED THE COPS He refused to tell me who owned the place and kept saying he runs the shop and guess what Mommy and Daddy run the shop for their little spoiled brat lol. Female barber felt uncomfortable about cutting my hair when I asked her to line and cut it. She told me if I don't like, go somewhere else's cause she felt uncomfortable. Please dont go here. Owner (male) is so rude and uses profanities on customers. When we asked him to cut our kid's hair a little bit more as its was not short enough he snapped back. We went along to finish the haircut he shouted across the room " u keep saying half inch, half inch" I told him not to be rude and he tells me to SHUT UP .When my spouse told him to not talk like that to me he told my spouse to "F&&& you" in front of my children. The situation look like it was going to turn worse and he kept screaming profanities while we were trying to pay and leave . The owner (woman)tried to give moeny back to me and I declined it. Its not even about getting the best service but its about basic decency and how to behave when there are little kids around. Daisy is excellent. She is a good woman and a professional worker. I have gotten haircuts in many places in my life, as I am originally from Italy by way of New York, and I have lived throughout the US, but I must admit that the 17 Barber Shop is supreme. It was good for getting cleaned up. Buzzers sorta dry. Fast workers. I didn't have high expectations and therefore got just what I expected lol. Wouldn't go here for a real fade or facial scaping. The young guy who gave me this monstrosity of a haircut seemed to understand what I wanted when he asked what kind of haircut I wanted. Unfortunately, he must be relatively inexperienced. There was something in my gut telling me to go somewhere else while I was waiting. The floors were filthy and layered with hair from the day's haircuts and customers before me were getting pretty lousy haircuts. Quick but not very good. Every time I've come here I end up bumping heads with the owner. She's very rude, disrespectful, and cut throat when it comes to how I want my son's haircut. Today she wasn't his barber but yet she still found a way to but into the conversation between I and the male barber about my son's haircut. This is not the first time she's done this but it will be her last because I will no longer spend my money where it is not valued. My son has a lot of hair, so all I asked the barber to do was to cut my son's hair in a way where his hair is not covering his edge up. And here she comes butting in our conversation to throw in her 2 cent when nobody asked her anything. My husband went there yesterday, march 6, 2016. Wow, Daisy was so fast and very talented with the electric razor in combination with the scissors, like I have never seen before. And I told her so. It couldn't have taken more than just a few minutes and she did exactly what he asked for, short sides and crown area, but a little longer in the top and bangs area. I took my 13 year old son here three times. Every time it was a different cut. They are very fast, not too busy. My son has very thick hair that is difficult to cut. Luckily he doesn't care how his hair looks. My husband keeps a military flat top and they are pretty consistent with cuts. No need to tell what you want, you get what you get and that's it! read more

I dont like going here, Ive been a few times and It'll be my last. They rush the cut (under 12 min). I asked for a medium skin fade and instead of using a razor for the skin fade they used a electric razor and tried telling me thats it.
