Almost $9 for a cold brew. Simply outrageous. No idea how a place like this can be open with that type of pricing.

Any time I'm in the Alvin area I stop here and I also encourage everyone else to too! Their menu is very " small town vibes " - a lot of the drinks are named after the workers. Only negative to this is - I've had some drinks that were DELICIOUS and made by the person who it was named after and then when returning it was made by another person and somehow NOTHING like the original. Prices are similiar to big name. Around 8-9$ for a 20oz. Which I don't love that but it's 2024. Their inside sitting is very eclectic and homey. I look forward to coming back here. read more

went one time, will admit it was 10 minutes prior to closing, the lady at the front seemed as if she was very bothered with how late we came in. Great little coffee shop, has to be the best in Alvin. The staff are friendly and the coffee is great. I stopped in for a coffee and ended up ordering a breakfast sandwich as well. They have some nice, quick, breakfast items either to go or dine in. There's plenty of seating/tables, nice couches and lounge area, and an area that can be reserved for groups. We hosted a baby shower there this past weekend and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was wonderful, but more importantly, the entire team there was an absolute joy to work with. The manager, Alyssa, was fantastic and worked with me via email and met with me in person pre-event. If you need a space to have a small event in Alvin, I couldn't recommend this place more! Ordered an Almond Joy Latte and a coffee, latte comes with two shots of espresso, but asked for 1 shot and for the second one to be added to the coffee because it was paid for anyway. Was told "no, but we can take a shot away from the latte and charge you for the shot in the coffee". Why would I pay for an espresso shot twice and only get one? Seemed like an easy asked but the computer did not allow for those type of changes so I guess common sense doesn't kick in to make the customer happy for what they paid for already. read more

LOVE this place! The employees are always so friendly and helpful. The Paninis are really good also! When my granddaughter is visiting from another state, this is her "to go" place. She even requests bags of their coffee be sent to her so she can enjoy it at home. read more

Happened to stumble upon this place when a friend and I were in the area. Friendly staff. Clean. My friend and I both got coffees and really enjoyed them. I also ordered the jalapeño popper panini to see if their food was any good. My friend and I both were obsessed. SO GOOD. I can't believe it was made by a coffee shop. Nice wide selection of different flavors for your coffees and glad to know they offer sugar-free options as well. I always enjoy this spot. I really appreciate all the space in the dining area -- it is cozy and comfy and nothing feels tight. Always good coffee and paninis are always crispy and warm. Good folks own it and good folks work there. I work a lot so my wife goes much more than I do. But on my mornings off it makes a great breakfast date. Love 1820! The staff (and owners) are always super friendly when you walk in the door and the atmosphere is very inviting and relaxed. It's the perfect place to take a few minutes to hang out and enjoy your latte, or get energized & focused on your home work/business to do lists.
