My first time here was in 2014 this is my 2nd time staying here. This time for a family member wedding. No they didn't get married at the inn and I wish they did. The breakfast was incredible. The bed was so comfortable. The staff is so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area when it comes to seeing things eating where to buy stuff they were just awesome. I'm planning to come back in December for my husband's birthday to surprise him with a stay here. I wonder if they give discount to repeat clients lol. 3rd time a chime. But I really do have to said the rooms are Exquisite the breakfast is delicious and if you really want to stay at a place that has a beautiful welcoming charm about it you need to try this bed-and-breakfast you will not be disappointed hello I keep coming back for a reason lol

Found this gem online. There's a gaited parking lot, so your car is safe. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and eager to make our stay perfect! We stayed in 203. Delightful romantic suite! The jacuzzi fits two comfortably. The fireplace in the main room is romantic but does not give off heat. The bedroom is spacious. The bed is comfortable. The shades pull down and block out light. Closet space and hangers available. Hairdryer, a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & body soap, robes, and towels provided. Breakfast is included, fill out your choices the previous night and you can also request breakfast in your room. Food was good, portions are perfectly sized. The ONLY drawback is... From 0600-0800 is apparently rush hour where all of Baltimore drives by at 100 mph and trucks feel the need to lean on the horns. I can't even explain how bizarre that traffic pattern is ( and I'm from NJ!). Anyway, don't plan on sleeping in with that mad rush. Other than that.. this place is such a great little gem and we would love to go back and stay in a room on the courtyard side.

Delicious breakfast! French Toast and Veggie Omelette

This place was amazing!! I'm not a big fan of bed and breakfasts in general but this one by far was the best one I've ever stayed in! It is situated in an ideal location! Walking distance from Little Italy, the Aquarium, Inner Harbor and Harbor East. The staff were super friendly! The room was beautiful! And the breakfast was delicious! Our favorite meal was the blueberry pancakes. The hash browns on the side were amazing too. Both the healthy omelette and regular omelette were great too! If you're ever in Baltimore this is the place to stay!

My partner and I traveled from out of state to Baltimore and booked Rachael's Inner Harbor Boutique…read moreInn because we were genuinely looking forward to experiencing the city and staying at what appeared to be a welcoming boutique property. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and the way our reservation was handled left us feeling unwelcome, dismissed, and discriminated against. We had a confirmed reservation, Reservation 9803, and traveled specifically for this stay. During our communication with the property's representative, Samuel Bailey, Innkeeper, I was driving on the freeway and explained that I was having difficulty hearing him clearly. I was still attempting to communicate and resolve the situation. There was also a significant address discrepancy. The address provided to me verbally by the property differed from the address contained in the property's automated communication. Naturally, I was trying to clarify which location I was supposed to go to and obtain assistance with my arrival. Instead of receiving basic hospitality and assistance, the situation escalated and the property ultimately canceled my reservation. I did not request that my reservation be canceled. The property later sent me written confirmation stating that Reservation 9803 had been canceled and identified Samuel Bailey, Innkeeper, in connection with the property. I subsequently contacted Booking.com to dispute the cancellation and request a full refund. What makes this particularly troubling is that Booking.com later contacted me regarding the disconnected phone call and stated that there had been no sound from my side and that the property attempted to call me back. That explanation does not address the central issue: I was trying to communicate that I could not hear properly, there was conflicting address information, and I was seeking assistance, not cancellation. As a traveler who had come from out of state, the appropriate response would have been patience, clarification, and hospitality. Instead, I was left without the accommodation I had traveled to Baltimore to use. I also want to be very clear about the impact this had on us. My partner and I were visiting Baltimore for the first time. Rather than beginning our trip feeling welcomed as guests, we were placed in a situation where we felt that our concerns were dismissed and that we were not afforded the same courtesy or consideration we reasonably expected from a hospitality business. We felt discriminated against by the way the situation was handled. I am not claiming to know the intentions of the individuals involved, but I can accurately describe how we were treated and how the interaction made us feel. My voice and concerns did not feel heard, and the decision to cancel our reservation felt disproportionate to the issue we were attempting to resolve. For a hospitality business, this is especially concerning. When someone has traveled from another state, has a confirmed reservation, and contacts you because they are having difficulty locating or communicating about the property, the expectation should be to help the guest get there safely and successfully, not eliminate the reservation. I am currently requesting a full refund through Booking.com and have asked for the matter to be reviewed and escalated. I hope the ownership or management of this property takes this complaint seriously. This was not simply an inconvenient phone call or a misunderstanding. It was the handling of a confirmed reservation involving out-of-state travelers who were actively attempting to obtain assistance. For our first experience visiting Baltimore, this was an incredibly disappointing introduction to the city. I would strongly encourage prospective guests to make sure they have clear written arrival instructions and to carefully document all communication with the property.

Us and the Nigerians probably invented shade centuries ago. That being said, I know this place is incredible because my parents raved about it!!!! They loved it! They called me immediately after they return home from their weekend trip, and had nothing but wonderful things to say about their stay. They said the location is beautiful and not very far from where they live in Howard County so they felt well rested when they returned home. They loved their room and were huge fans of the art gallery in the common area. Talking to the gallery curator might've been my mom's favorite part of their stay. She kept talking about how beautiful the art was and how she enjoyed talking to the curator, and my mom is not even a big art person so I was surprised to hear this. My dad who loves to eat, said the breakfast was fantastic and enjoyed the multiple courses. They also enjoyed that they had the opportunity to introduce themselves and meet the other guests during breakfast, their favorite guest was a woman named Ms. Gwen who was celebrating her 86th birthday. Apparently, she was the life of the party! They also enjoyed walking around the property and the neighborhood. They didn't go to the spa (because my brothers and I didn't pay for that part). However, they said they want to go for another weekend visit next year and they'll consider checking out the spa. They also said that Ms. Sheila was wonderful and they had a fantastic time and they're looking forward to going back next year. They didn't take any pictures for me to share, but I can say if my Ghanaian parents loved this place, you'll love it too! And I have to give a shoutout to Nicaila Matthews Okome for introducing me to this place when she featured the owner, Lisa, on her podcast, Side Hustle Pro!

Located on Kent Island overlooking the Chesapeake, this is the perfect getaway. It took us about an hour to drive there from downtown (with no traffic) and was easy to find on a lightly traveled road a few miles from the main highway. The house is massive, but there are only two rooms available for guests. We recommend the Osprey room, which overlooks the bay. In the morning, you wake to a glorious sunrise on the bay. This is soon followed by breakfast carefully prepared by Maria and Ed Peffly, the owners. Each morning we had fresh fruit, and coffee followed by a main breakfast. One morning it was a salmon frittata the next is was blueberry and banana pancakes. The only down side of breakfast was having to muster uncomfortable conversation with the other couple there who were on a romantic getaway. But that is par for the course at a B+B. During the day we walked around in the nearby Terrapin State Park and explored the island. We were there in March, and the usual Kent island riff raff were not to be found. In the evenings we sat under the stars in the hot tub and let the stress slough away. We basically had the run of the house, and although there was one other couple there, we never saw them except at breakfast. The grounds were amazing and at night a herd (15 or so) deer can be seen munching away on the grass. There was a pool, but it wasn't open when we were there. They have a gym and game room that we used once (Who goes to a B&B to use the gym?) What else can I say, for $160 a night (in the off season, you get a wonderful room overlooking the bay, a great breakfast and seclusion from the real world. If I was to conjure criticisms, I would say that the rooms had a bit too much potpourri for our taste and that some of the decor was on the Laura Ashley side, but that is really being picky. This is a real gem. NOTE: I was reluctant to post this review for one simple reason--people will go to and love this place and we'll never be able to book a room again. But we liked the owners so much that we figured that keeping it a secret wouldn't be fair. Let me be frank. By people I mean you loathsome SUV driving butt cracks that make it necessary for rational people to escape DC. Please go to Disney.

To the left and right you and see picturesque views of the Chesapeake Bay. In front of you, you see a massive mansion-esk Bed & Breakfast that was built with extra #love by it's owner. Small architectural flourishes lend to the owners strong eye for aesthetic. A giant white tent 50 yards from the ceremony is where your guests will be partying, and a large stone patio with high bar tables around a small pool is where your guests will enjoy their cocktail hour. A separate small building off to the side houses fully plumbed in bathrooms with granite countertops make this luxurious experience continue in all facets and faucets! Hahahahhahaha - I'm such a dork. The perfect location for a wedding in every way. I mean... when this bed and breakfast was built, the intention was for it to also being a wedding venue. You can tell as there are ground anchors permanently placed around the pool and yard. Just a top notch place! Also Britny's Wedding gets 5 stars! :)
