I've been in a few times now and have noticed Service to always be excellent and food is good. Drinks were very well balanced, I tried the sunnyslope which was delicious, as well as a spicy passion fruit special that the waiter recommended. Overall a lovely place for a nice dinner. Great service and very comfortable dining experience. When I made reservations for thanksgiving I asked if they had a full menu because we didn't want a traditional turkey dinner. When they said yes I booked it. Unfortunately when we sat down our server said our information was incorrect and all they were serving was turkey, ham and some vegan dish. Very disappointing!!! I know it was just an honest mistake but the last thing we wanted was this. So I had a bland turkey dinner and my wife had the ham. Ham was a bit better. I can see this might be a good restaurant, but not on this day. Undecided if we will return. read more

I came in last night with my dad and grandpa. We ordered a few different things and nothing disappointed. Dad and I had steaks, he added all the goodies on top and I substituted my potatoes for risotto. SO YUMMY!!! Grandpas fettuccine was also incredible. Then we had some delicious dessert. They got cheesecake and I got my favorite crème brulee. Megan was our server and she was an absolute doll. We bonded over both being servers and she checked on us plenty throughout the night to make sure things were top tier. We adored her and will definitely be coming back. read more

I have been to this restaurant 5 times and every time I was there it was a 5 star rating. This last time I was there on my birthday was not so good. My steak was over cooked not happy. Jordon are waitress was so good about replacing it, however by the time I got the other steak most of my party was almost done with their meals. Wow! Absolutely delightful! I had low expectations because it's in a midrange hotel, but this is some of the best food I've had in Oregon! The rockfish was perfectly prepared, the risotto is delightful with capers and dill, the recommended dessert was off the hook. Our server was phenomenal and the entire staff was attentive. Very classy and beautiful restaurant/bar inside of a Best Western Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager, then escorted to a great table in the middle of dining area. Our waitress Emma was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made our evening enjoyable. Food was ok, but definitely not worth their prices.... $19 for the starter of three scallops was surprising and we expected more of them or at least the best scallops we ever tasted, which was not the case, even though the presentation was visually appealing. Chicken penne and New York strip were also pricey but underwhelming. It was a beautiful restaurant with great people and the manager even made sure to wish us a great night. We met up with friends for a birthday celebration. I have to say the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The ambiance was also excellent. A extremely nice restaurant, probably the best in Lebanon as far as ambiance, but there are an amazing amount of good restaurants in the little town of Lebanon. A big change from when I grew up there. I would ( and have) recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. I don't give 5 star reviews very often, but this one is an exception. Ate there for dinner and liked it. Steak was good, pasta was good. Ate there for breakfast and it was a much different experience. A little disorganized and the ladies were loud. Yelling customers names across the restaurant for them to get their food. At one point someone who we think worked in the kitchen came out to greet and help customers and was covered in what looked like cat hair all over her clothes. After walking around to check on people eating she jumped in at serving and continued the yelling customers names out and explaining the ordering process in her outside voice. We went because they popped up on my search for prime rib. They not only don't serve prime rib, the "new chef" was awful. I ordered tri tip, medium rare, the meat I got was butchered wrong so it was inedibly tough and completely raw. I sent it back and ordered a veggie dish instead which was soggy and cold. I gave up and ate at home later. My companion ordered fish which arrived over-cooked and under seasoned. Drinks were good but very pricey. We were very disappointed and we promise never to return. We stayed at the Best Western Hotel and decided to eat here since there wasn't many options. We made reservations for 7:30pm and had to wait 30 mins to get seated. Then we waited another 30 mins after being seated for the server to come get our order. Let's just say by the time our food came it was pretty much time for the restaurant to close (9pm). We were pretty much ready to write a bad review and only give 2 stars. They earned the two stars back because: 1) our server Jordan was very patient, polite, & friendly. She apologized several times and explained that they were unexpectedly short handed, down to two servers only and all of a sudden got super busy. We never saw her get frustrated with us despite how much she had to do. 2) we were celebrating my niece's bday and had brought a cake from outside. The restaurant charges cake cutting fee which the manager waived because we waited so long for our service. 3) despite how busy they were, none of our orders came out wrong. All the food was made to our preference and we were really happy with our food. This helped smooth our feelings about this place. Oh ya and we were a large party of 7 so to get everyone's order correct was huge! Well done to restaurant's staff! We would definitely eat here again! This restaurant is located in the Best Western Plus Hotel in Lebanon, OR. I was staying here overnight and was looking for a fulfilling lunch. I opted for a vegan item on their menu and was pleasantly surprised by the explosion of flavors from the crispy tofu wrap. I liked the naan although it was lacking the garlic flavors it advertised. Nonetheless, you had the option of fries or salad, and I found the caesar salad rather refreshing. This bar is pretty renowned for their selection of local wines. Fairly priced. The outdoor dining space overlooks the koi pond and was a very tranquil experience after a long day of travels. read more

This place is really out of touch, their prices are really too high for the quality of food. We went with our family for my birthday dinner. To begin with the crostini appetizers were terrible, none of us liked them. The Tri-tip was very tough, I had the New York steak and it was very tough also and overcooked slightly. My grandson had the fish and chips and the fish was undercooked. My son-in-law liked his Seafood Bucatini and my husband liked the hamburger. This place used to be really good years ago. They had Filet Mignon, which I loved. They took that away and have taken other things away that we enjoyed, like the fried chicken. The changes they have made are not good, the menu has not much to be desired. The bread was great. The service was excellent, thanks Jason. I would really like to like this place again. But I'm not sure I will at the rate they are going. read more

Review #261 - 2018 I've been running on very little sleep since we begin our vacation so I was too tired to drive out to look for food. Luckily, they have an in-house restaurant at the hotel that we're staying at so we decided to dine in here. We showed up at around 8:53 PM, thinking that they close at 10 PM, according to Yelp. However, we were sadly mistaken because they close at 9 PM on weeknights, but they were still kind enough to let us sit down and order before the kitchen closed. Our waiter, Carl, was super awesome! Sweet, patient and accommodating! I decided to order three different items to share with my niece since we didn't eat lunch. Our first meal was at 6 AM so it was already 13 hours ago and I didn't want her to feel like I was being a bad auntie. I'm glad she's not too picky about food so she just let me order everything that I thought we'd both like. We were pretty hungry so we decided to attack the complimentary bread, which was cold and not very enjoyable after the first two bites so we gave up. We started off with the crab cakes, which was ok. We both thought that it was a little on the doughy side, too much breading or something. It was still nice and crunchy so it wasn't bad. The pickled veggies kind of threw off the flavor. The steelhead filet was our favorite. We both liked the flavor and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were kind of sweet and had a hint of sour so it complemented the rice very well. By the time we got around to eating the prime rib, we were pretty stuffed so we both took a few bites and thought it was nice and soft. We both really enjoyed the mashed potatoes though. We ended up taking the rest back to our room. The food is about 3 to 3.5 stars, but service was a 5 so I decided to round it up to a 4-star. Although, I have to admit that the portion is much bigger and price is more reasonable than what I'm used to in California. read more

The food was so bad it was funny, at least at the end of a good day and after a stiff drink. The lovely deep-fried tofu I raved about five years ago is no more. Now there is tofu satay. Whoever prepares it has probably never eaten it. Tofu on a stick with seared-in grill marks is just burned tofu. Cover it with peanut sauce and call it satay, it's still burned tofu. Skip it. The crab cakes (panned by a previous reviewer) were drowning in what was supposed to have been artichoke remoulade. Ordered without the remoulade, which might as well have been Thousand Island salad dressing, they'd have been OK. As for the steak- a previous reviewer nailed it. Thin and overpriced. Sweet hide away! We were pleasantly surprised with this tucked in spot in Lebanon. It was a 45 minuet drive but worth it, only wish we arrived sooner as they have a very nice secluded path around a pond. As well, they offer outside tables. Only need a miniature golf coarse, lol.
