We spoke to the owner, she is just a fantastic person. She runs her restaurant with such outstanding customer service. I couldn't quite figure out if they cook it and chill it and just keep it chilled until someone orders it or if it was cooked to order and then chilled right away. Either way, it is good. It really is a small plate though. A couple of bites, not really a shareable appetizer. My friend and I split a beet salad and added the steak protein to it and we loved it. I take this up to the bars and tell the guy and show him letting him know I think I swallowed a piece and they better check the dishwasher or something. The complex is flanked by two parking lots on each end with ample parking. There also appears to be a fair number of accessible parking spaces for those with mobility issues. The Barn at Hickory Station is a great addition to the community, offering a family-friendly environment where kids can run free in a large grassy area. I'll definitely return the next time I find myself in the Albany area.
