Fabulous bbq place in Twisp. Classy and fun atmosphere, brick and wood. Staff super friendly and chill. Everything ordered here has been bomb. Appetizers are unusual but good as hell. Plain old bbq meat damn good, lots of great sauces. This place is worth coming out of your way for.

We were staying at nearby Sun Mountain Lodge and a friend had told me to try this nice little small town BBQ restaurant in Twisp. We found the restaurant beautifully decorated and cozy, and were greeted and promptly seated. After very tasty cocktails we went with the Pitmaster Platter both of us. Everything was very tasty well prepared. Service was very friendly and attentive also.

    BBQ Sauce Assortment

Amazing food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Their made-in-house BBQ sauce selection is fabulous, I loved all three! Highly recommend the Mac & Cheese with Turkey, and drench it with their Calabrian Cold Brew sauce! The homemade cornbread is also to die for! Perfect dinner spot if you're staying in Winthrop.

    Gyritto and mac and cheese.

Listen up, if you are going through Twisp and don't stop here, then im sure you have committed a felony. Food is amazing, sweet tea is delicious, and the service is on point.

    Banana Creme Cake masterpiece

Great attentive service - creative drink menu and good wine list. ribs were great and Reuben was spectacular. Dessert made everyone happy - banana cream cake was AMAZING. Would come back for this. the double chocolate brownie was a hit too! Great for families, groups - great ambiance and not too loud!

Staying for a couple of nights outside Winthrop. It happened to be the day of the "Stud Horse" fire. We watched the fire trucks go through town, the smoke billowing as we drove up to Sun Mountain Lodge, the winds pick up as the storm moved from the mountains to the east, the smoke cloud increasing, tankers, dropping from the air. But I digress. We were not happy with the food options in Winthrop. I had given up on trusting a place that could serve up a steak that I would be happy to pay for. The restaurants in Winthrop seemed to be manned (? womaned?) by young summer-job seekers. I said forget about it. Lets get something from the Sri Lankan food truck parked at TwispWorks while we charge the car. It was closed. Leaving the charging station disappointed and hungry, we came upon the 1908. Forgetting that I had originally been looking for a steak, I saw their Cubano and had to add it to my sample list. That and my wife's wedge salad were well prepared and very good. There was a wait for the Cubano but they were short one person who had to leave since he got the "go now" evacuation notice. We will be dinning in Twisp from here on. BTW we drove up to check out the fire scene and it was amazing how it appeared to consume everything and then there was a house standing untouched in the middle of the blackness. Those guys did an amazing job! Don't cut their funding!

The size of the serving was enormous. It was sweet but not too sweet. I highly recommend this as an appetizer but be prepared for leftovers!

Alana, our smiling and very pleasant server, was both knowledgeable and helpful, skillfully steering us through the evening. Our initial craft cocktails were exquisite with a special shout out to the bartender for his Old Fashioneds and Cosmos. We really appreciated that our request to pair wine with our individual dinners was met with strong suggestions rather than $$$ labels. As far as dinner, "hats off" to the chef! Let me just say that our meals were not only fantastic, but the portions were "Lumber Jack" HUGE! This resulted in take-home boxes for all and excellent lunches the next day. Our memorable entrees were the swordfish and the brisket mac n cheese. In summary, Wildflour is not only stamped on our "must return to" list but should be on a bucket list for anyone visiting the hills area above Leavenworth.

The halibut and chips were great, I settled for the salad which had nice berries and good dressing. Our Bloody Mary came out with no salt on the rim, and no bacon, or anything too special, there was no salt and pepper on the table. The coffee was also super weak. Food was good, just wish the brunch hours made any sense we were way more excited for the brunch menu. Server was prompt and very nice.

It's a pesto and grilled chicken, it wasn't as vibrant as I was expecting, I don't think there was anything wrong with the portion size or preparation, it just wasn't as fulfilling as I anticipated. They supposedly have really good breakfasts, but I was traveling and would not have time to try one out. Looking over the breakfast menu and I think it looked better than the lunch/ dinner menu. I sat out on the patio and it was a nice break from the rain in western Washington.

The servers were incredibly kind and friendly, but the restaurant owner was a different story. We had a yummy basket of fries and a nice chat with our server. After receiving our pizza, both myself and my friend thought that the pizza tasted and smelled of cigarettes. The sauce was very acidic and chunky, and overall unpleasant to eat. We each tried one slice, I couldn't finish mine- before deciding that we really couldn't enjoy it. We let our server know as much and offered to pay for a half pizza/kids pizza (still paying as expected for the rest of our food/drinks), and he said that he would have to ask his supervisor about our request. When "JP" came out, it was clear he had been drinking. He became argumentative quickly- claiming that we just didn't understand how oven fired pizza was supposed to taste, that we were clearly trying to dine and dash, and eventually told us to just "see what happens" and to not pay and leave. He took a photo of us which we asked him to delete (he didn't- he posted us on the business Facebook page- see attached, I've removed my friend's face) and told us he could do "anything he wants" since he was the owner. In all of the breath he spent yelling at us, he could have offered a better solution, or just kindly told us there was nothing he could do. I asked the server if we could just pay and move on- he told us it was fine/on the house, and it seemed like dealing with a drunk for a boss wasn't out of the ordinary. I am sorry to see this kind of unprofessional behavior from someone who claims to have been in the restaurant industry over 30 years. Save your time and the headache and go to Meza or Three Fingered Jack's. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed the food immensely at both locations.
