This place is a hidden gem. I didn't even notice it existed as we always pass that way going to get groceries in a chinese store around Keele and Wilson area. Toronto was under a heatwave this past few days and I'm so in the mood eating tacos. We ordered the Cecina, Pastor, Fish and Barbacoa. All these fillings are generously placed on a double fresh tortillas which are so flavourful and had the right amount of spice. I like the barbacoa best, the shredded beef is so tender and really moist and effortless to chew. And since its super hot on that day, I got myself a mangonada (mango slushie) with tajin. The mango is not that sweet though the sugar covers the sweetness of the slushie. Very refreshing to have with your tacos.
That sunday night is a scorcher we find the place a little hot inside. Imagine that and eating your food with hot salsa oh boy, as if you're doing a workout while eating because your sweating. In fairness, maybe the lady noticed that customers are sweating so she decided to turn on a window type AC which I think didn't make a difference at all. Maybe because its really hot outside and will take time for the room to cool. You can dine as there are tables and chairs inside. The decor of the interior is very simple.Bathroom is available but didn't need to use it. Limited parking is available at the front of the store.
Staff is very friendly and accomodating.
Highly recommend if you're in the area. I'll definitely come back here. read more
