Super disgusting fishy tasting bourbon glazed salmon 10/10 do NOT recommend
    Kyle A.

First, let me say that everyone working here is very nice and the setting overlooking the golf course and wooded creek area is great. However, the bourbon salmon was too fishy to eat. Both of us tried it and it was so disgusting. What causes that, was it past its prime? We chose to not send it back but didn't eat it. The chicken cheese steak was very pedestrian, not much flavor and just boring. However, the bacon jam Brussels sprouts were delicious, as were the fries. I hope this place can step up their food quality and stay in business.

    Chicken wings
    Tracy M.

The Brussels sprouts were amazing. Really flavorful. The chicken wings, not so much. I did not care for thr breading. It was light like I prefer but it just did not have much taste. The wings definitely needed to be cooked longer. I felt like some of them were not fully cooked. I also did not like the flavor, like they may have been old or maybe they just needed to be cooked longer. I ordered a Manhattan and it was not made correctly. It just tasted like chilled bourbon, no cherry or juice. The server was very nice and attentive. Our food came out fast. We went early on $1 wings night so we missed the crowd. They had live music on the patio starting at 6. We had been here before but not for wing night. The place is quaint and we will be back however, we will order something other than the wings.

The house salad. It was crisp and dry! Absolutely perfect 10/10!

Food was just average. Server was good. I probably will not go back. The room for our group worked well.

I can definitely understand why people will tailgate just to get in for dinner. We started off with the meatballs, the pork loin, and the pierogies. The pork loin is a must get, and the other others were delicious as well. For my entrée, I got the pork loin as well because it was so good as an appetizer, and before that I started with the tomato soup, which was also excellent. Addison was our waiter and was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a party of over 10 people and he handled it flawlessly. If you're in the mood for something out of the city in a little bit of a change of pace, I would highly recommend trying here.

I personally enjoyed a favorite of mine, a buffalo chicken wrap which was full of delicious flavors and ingredients. We weren't going to get an appetizer but the bone marrow fries looked so good in pictures that we had to try them. They did not disappoint. Very large serving and extremely flavorful. Easily an appetizer for 4 or more people (there was only 2 of us so we brought some home). My dining partner is not normally a fries person and she loved these. For entree, my dining partner had today's special which was a shredded chicken sandwich that had a jalapeño cheese sauce and the house chips. She said it was very good and again half the sandwich came home. I had their breaded tenderloin which was very good, with nice breading to meat ratio and was a bit larger than the bun. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It came ala carte with no sides. Service was excellent, exceptionally friendly and really took care of us. One of the best waiters I've come across. Inside is a bar/pub like feel. We opted to eat in the air condition enclosed "patio" type area which had a bit more light, but was also noisy today due to the tin lined walls/ceiling and another group that was quite loud. Made it a bit hard to converse. Normally don't think this would be an issue. While not tons of items on the menu, the selection was quite varied and you could really splurge on a filet or other such dish and really go all in for a more lavish dinner or have a burger or tenderloin, all at any time of day. Parking was right in front of the restaurant but could see it being a bit tight on a busy day.

This place has been a hit with my "21+" family due to the great food, great location, and usually good service. Minors are not allowed. Our most recent visit yesterday had less than awesome service but maybe she was having a bad day. The building is old with lots of wood paneling ... very comfy. There are several other wonderful restaurants in Fortville which is great for me as I have several choices. I never would have guessed that this tiny suburb would have such epic cuisine!

The kitchen and service staff were wonderfully accommodating with custom requests--my husband ordered a double patty burger topped with an egg and no bun, and they executed it perfectly. I ordered a salad and the chicken stir-fry. The salad was generous with plenty of fresh cucumbers and cold tomatoes, though it was made with iceberg lettuce, which really isn't my preference, so I left most of it behind. However, the chicken stir-fry completely made up for it. It was incredibly well-balanced, loaded with great broccoli, and definitely a dish I would order again. I wish we had known there was a filet special the night we went. Our server was slow and seemed confused.
