I love this dive bar!! I hope they will be able to open up again after the pandemic! They usually had a DJ every Saturday and he knew how to get the people to enjoy their time for sure. The bartender makes some good drinks and has specials of her own or can make whatever you ask for if it was available. There are a few pool tables so something else to do if you didn't want to dance. Was here over the weekend with some great friends !!! Upon arrival it looks pretty sketchy, like hmm maybe I should turn around But we got inside & its pretty cool & laid back!! Nothing fancy guys !! Drinks are reasonable ass hell & good !! Got a few TVs to watch some sports. Pool table & juke box (must pay). Oh & they have a Dj that comes with some good music Saturday nights. Lounge 707 is a very strange, mysterious place in that the business manager has managed to get nearly all of the negative reviews taken down off Yelp, even reviews that were posted by elite members. The DJ was a really sweet and smart guy and from a personality standpoint, might have been one of the best DJs I've ever met... when the business was open...that being said... They closed and reopened on and off during 2020 and have been closed since then; leaving the property more or less abandoned. As far as I'm aware, bars and nightclubs are allowed to reopen in California, so the fact they havent made any concerted effort to reopen is something of a mystery. The owner of the property must be a very rich person, because he has effectively rented out that real estate smack dab in the middle of the city and has afforded not to run the business since 2020. According to city records as of January 2022, that address is officially owned. I'm angry at them because they won't move over and let someone else run that nightclub. The parking lot has become rife with crime and has become a mecca of drugs; making the city little more dangerous and rougher to live in. Furthermore, by abandoning that building, Fairfield has effectively has no nightlife with the exception of a couple holes in the wall. When the club was open, there was a 3 year period between 2016 and 2019 where the club was commonly and intermittently under some kind of renovation, during that period, there was no lounge to speak of, making the name of the club itself like a false advertisement. It was never a place that people in their 20s and early 30s ever liked. Seeing someone that young in the club was a rarity and it was mostly for regulars who were middle aged or older. As far as I'm aware from the word on the street, there are no real plans to reopen the business. Making the notion of Lounge 707 ever more mysterious. It's time for the owner to move aside and give someone else a chance and make a successful and safe place for young people to hang out and party at night. read more

I had a pretty good time here at this shade of sweltering Fairfield summer. I ordered a lot of rum and cokes and remember buzzingly walking back home like a delinquent. But all that aside, this watering hole is your average dive, it's been there for awhile you could tell and the bartenders here have seen the days come and go. The regulars were really nice to me and my cap and we met a lot of locals that wanted the same thing too: cold shade from a sweltering day. Don't come here if you're looking for a dark and stormy or negroni, this is small town lands, where a cold beer and a shot is the antidote. read more

What I love about this place: I only come here when Shayne is working. He knows what I want, and has it ready for me. I like the esthetic of the place. Yes, they are centrally located in the 'hood of Fairfield, down the street from my house, but when I come here, I feel like Norm from "Cheers". I get great service, I like the music, they have someone who is attentive to my libation needs, and sometimes they got a guy in here to cook and serve food. Plus the TV'S to watch sports... Discriminatory practices against handicap people. Myself and my 35 year old down syndrome cousin were turned away at the door by Merrylee. Merrylee (the barmaid) stated at the door while pointing at my cousin, "she can't come in here, she is a liability, we can't be responsible if she falls or something". Sarah and I have been patrons at this bar for years, way back when it was called The Suites and were mortified by the new policy that excludes blind down syndrome people. I was out with friends and we were looking for a place to go day drinking without having to worry about a brunch crowd. We randomly found this place, popped in and are happy we did. It's a total dive bar, which I love, because the customers are friendly, the bartender, Jeff is spot on, and the drinks are strong and cheap enough where you can afford to tip like your bartender should be tipped for getting you drunk. There are also two well-maintained pool tables, and an electric jukebox, if the locals don't provide enough entertainment for you. And don't forget to say hi to Carol! read more

Positive: 707 has a great daytime atmosphere. The barkeep and everyone enjoying a drink were super nice and hilarious. Joked around, watched the hockey game, and was treated to a pint by one of the folks there. If you have a nasty habit of smoking like me, they have a patio in the front that is worthy of enjoying your smoke. They have a couple of decent pool tables as well that looked like it could be a good time if it isn't packed while you are there. The pricing is CHEAP. Even when it isn't happy hour, a pint was $3-$4. Negative: It isn't the most visually attractive building and looks rather run down. It's not extremely clean looking, but the bar and tables were taken care of. The evening crowd is known to be on the shady side. Suggest to keep your visits before 8-9pm. read more

This place is my son's favorite spot to shoot pool so when I visited from the east coast, I had to check it out for a game and a drink with him. He warned me it was the epitome of a dive bar with the personality of "Cheers". I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of high-end vodkas I like for my girly drinks and my husband was pleased with the beer offerings. My son likes to come here for the "cheap pool and nice tables". Something for everyone! The new owner, Jeff, was tending bar. He was super friendly as he mixed drinks, poured beer, bantered with his regular customers, and recommended sights for our visit to the area. I like this bar...it's divey but comfortable. I love Karaoke but the prices are up and down. $10 for ciroc is a lil over the top. Bathrooms ok but could use some freshening up(paint)?? Shayne is very attentive and the owners are eager to please i feel like they wanna do more but can't. This is the divest of dives. Seriously. The karoakiers are all horrible, the pool tables will eat your white ball and you'll have to pay for a whole new setup, and the bartender sings karaoke and ignores you when you need to close your bill. Great atmosphere, multiple pool tables, karaoke Thursday nights, and a taco guy even comes around to serve some good/cheap tacos! A place you can go to without being heckled for how drunk or disconnected you are from being sober. This is an establishment where you can throw back a few shots and pound a few beers without being monitored or micro managed. Absolute place to go to for a fun good time without the bs-so long as you yourself can manage yourself and provide your own cadre of people to hang out with; not to say you wont make friends with the regular patrons. Found this place randomly on Yelp when a friend and i were looking for a place to grab a drink after dinner. Other reviews are right in that the place has a welcoming vibe with patrons of all different demographics. Dirty sports pub mixed w family owned bar and underground club kind of vibe. They had many screens showing the warriors game, a pool table and foos ball table in the bar, and then around 9pm (on a Monday) there was a DJ (who might have also been the bartender?) who was playing some dance jams. Music was a little loud for conversation, but the atmosphere was still very good for just a low key weeknight out. Beer was very affordable, my bud light was just $3.25 for the draft pint read more

Horrible customer service. My family and I went last weekend for New Year's Eve. Worst experience ever!!! DJ was extremely rude, didn't want to take any requests ( for New Year's Eve Mind you). Then the DJ had the nerve to get real aggressive in a real hostile manner. The owner's were even worst, without even knowing what was going on. They just assumed our party was the one being aggressive, when in reality it was they're DJ that they hired. It just kind of baffled me, a bar that's primarily empty, hardly no customers ever and this how you treat people that try and patronize your establishment.
