I came here for breakfast and ordered the Greek ... it is supposed to have ricotta cheese ... I didn't have any in my omelet .....the omelet was kinda bland ... the service was ok

Denver Omelet

Came for Sunday brunch during the winter and had a nice dining experience. It's always good to support small, family-owned restaurants like Rockville Kitchen & Bar so check them out! You can choose from indoor or outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has a nice view out front - very serene, aside from the cars passing by. Haha. It is nice sitting outside. Food was good as to be expected, though nothing really stood out for me besides it being a good, quiet place to eat. I had the Eggs Benedict which had the perfect saltiness - it was good! Husband had a Denver Omelette which is also enjoyed. Service was good. Owner was friendly. We spoke to him about possibly having a private party at the restaurant, which they do host and cater for.

Breakfast -many omelets with various fillings, potatoes are great, marbled rye toast - Tasty

Great breakfast and many sandwiches- lots of selection. Inside and outside seating - w umbrellas. Friendly service, good food, quality ingredients. Big portions, fun to share bites. I really like this area, near wineries and next to the access road - more than a country lane it's a well paved road through Suisun appellation wineries. ‍Caution: many bike riders in the summer and on beautiful warm sunny days in the fall. Allow extra time. Lanes are narrow, curvy.

Burger and perfect fries!! Pickle was great too!!

I am a local and love to go here for breakfast. I have to admit I had never had lunch here until yesterday. My friend and I both ordered burgers and his son a hot dog. All three with fries. The fries were absolutely delicious. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. The burgers were very good. Could have been a bit juicier but nicely seasoned. The service was spot on!! This is a great local place we all need to support!!

We used to always go here with the old ownership. Decided to give the new owners a shot. So very disappointed and to me overpriced. My French toast was beyond burnt and they tried to slather so much of their topping on it in hopes I wouldn't notice. That first bite was beyond horribly bitter. My son's CHICKEN sandwich didn't even have chicken in it and the potato salad tasted like they poured a box of salt in it, it wasn't edible. I tried to scrape off the burnt layer with my knife but it didn't work. We didn't even finish our food, nor did the waiter come out to see how everything turned out after it was placed on our table and we took a bite. We couldn't even tell them/let them be aware because of how bad the service was. Won't go back and wasted 50 bucks on food I could've made better at home

Breakfast Burrito

Rockville Kitchen + Bar is a cozy, homey spot that makes you feel welcome right away. I ordered the breakfast burrito which already comes with a fresh side of fruit and added avocado. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Ms. Michelle provided warm, attentive service that made the meal even better. Highly recommend for a relaxed and delicious breakfast!

Eggs Benedict

A cute diner located it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere. However it was bustling place for locals. I ordered a standard 2 eggs, country potatoes, sausage and bacon with sourdough toast. It was nothing special and the country potatoes were deep fried. My husband's eggs Benedict was good but the eggs were overcooked. He seemed to really enjoy his meal. The portions were standard sizes although the prices seemed expensive for what we got. The waitress was super friendly. All in all it was good.

Eggs Benedict $16.50

Very appealing little place with tables inside and outside, warm and colorful. Our young server was super friendly and helpful! She asked if I wanted the yolks in my Eggs Benedict "easy, medium or hard", something I've never been asked for that dish. The dish was fine with really good hollandaise sauce and BOMB hash browns, but unfortunately the yolks in my eggs were cooked hard. My wife's bacon and eggs were good, but included deep fried country potatoes which she doesn't particularly care for. We also thought the prices were steep for two simple breakfasts with only moderate portions of food.

Best Reuben ever. And I do not say that lightly. Yummmmmmm. Perfectly toasted. Cheese pulls from the sandwich, just enough. And the shoestring French fries were a nice change of pace

I kinda fell like, for a +$20 breakfast, it should have been epic. And it just wasn't. Most of mine was cold - and that's pretty bad when yuh have something called a 'skillet' (which wasn't in one, by the way...) My daughter's Benedict was... Spongy and weird and so were the hashbrowns and the hollandaise was just kind of off, and runny. What was epic?? The FRUIT. Large portion, berries and mango and none of the filler melons that most places use. It was the good stuff! I guess next time we really should try the waffles, because apparently that's what it's known for and I don't know why we didn't go with that but we just weren't feeling something sweet today. Hopefully, next time will be epic all around! (as far as ambience, it's a cute little place, the music was decent, and the tables were well appointed. Neither of us use the bathroom, and that's usually one way to tell how clean the place/kitchen is. We will definitely check it out next time)

The gravy was forgotten to pour in the biscuit and butter and sprinkles of sugar for the muffins... we always order from them that's why we know what we always get and this time, there were missing few stuff.. Came back inside to ask for the gravy and now they were charging us $3 for 3 tubs.. If they poured it on biscuit like they normally do, we wouldn't have been charged extra, so we just walked out and we appreciate when the staff came out and gave us the 3 tubs of gravy free of charge.. Only comment is that the rib eye was a bit rubbery and tough to chew, though easy to cut.. But over all, I can give it 4.5

As I moved now to Cordelia, I got the opportunity to stop by Huckleberry's in Fairfield. I was super thrilled that they actually had a patio. We were able to bring our pups with us and really enjoyed our time together. With that said that, I'm giving this place two stars. It was great that we got to be seated instantly I didn't have to wait because we were sitting outside. The outside back patio had a whole bunch of picnic tables and all of your utensils and extra ingredients were on top of the table. The menu you had a whole bunch of southern choices. I was super thrilled to see that they had fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Recently visiting Charleston, I really enjoyed their fried green tomatoes. So I said why not give it a chance here. I asked Jennifer, our waiter, what she thought about them and she said they were good. I also made sure to ask what the thickness of the tomato was because I actually like that flavor. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and two double bloody Mary's. The bloody Mary's were delicious and they came out with bacon and all the garnishes that usually come with it. The fried green tomatoes, were horrible, it was basically batter, you didn't even get to see the tomato inside of it. The dipping sauce was OK, I usually don't do this, but I had to return it because I'm not eating dough! BTW... It also came with a really dirty nasty plate. Secondly, we ordered the fried steak and country gravy. We went for the side potatoes. And we asked for extra gravy. That dish came out pretty well and that's why it's getting this two stars. They definitely need to use a little bit more salt and pepper to add to their food for flavor. Thirdly, we ordered a second round of drinks, this time I ordered their jungle juice, which was huckleberry lemonade and vodka! It tasted water down and like there was no alcohol in it. Even though I asked for a double? At the end of the day, will I be returning no.

Seeing that it was raining and I didn't want to order for my usual spots I decided to give this place a try. I got the Mushroom, Bacon and Brie omelet which sounded stellar! I did not seat inside but it was door dashed to me. The way they packed it was very nice and it came in nice containers, it also looked great. I also like that it gave me an option to have it with either toast or muffin which I found unique. Unfortunately, though the presentation was nice, the omelet was extremely bland. The egg was also overcooked and rubbery, the potatoes were also tasteless. The muffin however was very good, carrot and raisin, delicious. My boyfriend got the chipotle breakfast burrito (which I forgot to take a picture of), he said it was okay, I tasted it and also thought it was fine. Overall, not my cup of tea, but I do see some potential here. I think with minor tweaks this could be a great spot but I may give it awhile before returning (hopefully not another 10 years).

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.
