Shrimp & Chips Basket. Came out hot and delicious

Shrimp & Chips Basket. Came out hot and delicious!! Shrimp was flavorful and fries were good and crispy. Lunch today so only water. But 10/10 will eat here again and next time order drinks.

I threw my Buffalo wings and tenders in the same basket, but they were all delicious.

My team decided to go out to celebrate after a graduation and this was definitely the place to be! It was around 7 pm when we went and it was full, inside and out. We managed to find a seat and ordered at the bar. It took a minute to place our order, but it made sense since the place was packed. I ordered the solar ember and it was good Also ordered buffalo wings and lemon pepper tenders with fries and everything was delicious. The establishment was clean and entertaining. Definitely a place I'll visit again the next time I'm in the area.

Cedars Corner is a nice addition to downtown Fairfield, I'm glad I was finally able to stop by. I love a bar that has good drinks and fried food to soak them up, it's usually a winning combination. I visited solo and never felt uncomfortable. I was able to pull out my Kindle and get some reading in while I enjoyed a few drinks and waited for my food. Note: noise doesn't bother me when I read, this is a bar so don't expect a low volume level. Other patrons chatted with me and shared their favorite menu items. Apparently the Caesar salad is good, but they were sold out for the day so I'll try it next time. The fried chicken that I had wasn't as salted/seasoned as I like, but it was fried well. I'd order it again. There are flavor options that you can get your chicken tossed in, but I ordered chicken and waffles so I opted for regular fried whole wings. I like to cover my wings with hot sauce and a drizzle of syrup when I'm eating that combo. Their syrup was good. That sounds random, but some places have watered down runny syrup. In my opinion they were understaffed, but I feel like they did great at acknowledging customers and letting people know they'd be with them shortly. The service that I received was good, no complaints. I def plan to stop by again when I'm in the area. The food is cooked to order so keep that in mind.

Had to go to FF for a few Christmas items. Looked for a place for lunch. Chose Cedars Corner because of the fish'n chips reviews. Nice place clean. Greeted right away. Ordered 2 piece catfish and chips. It came out piping hot! Great cook in the fish. Crispy outside and really moist inside. Fries were crispy like I like them. Good luck, Yelp doesn't disappoint.

Popped in one evening to check out the evolving Fairfield downtown scene and came upon Cedars corner. Exterior was cute and the crowd inside quite lively so we found a couple bar stools. The comfiest stools in town we believe so far. Inside is also pleasant and roomy. Big screens line the back of the bar over a WIDE array of taps. You'll find something you'll like for sure. Bartender was delightful, her smile lit the place. Menu is some nice Pub Stuff of wings, fish and burgers kinda felt like had a southern bayou fry feel. Wings are fantastic. Any of 'em. Fries were straight-up yum. I had a blonde ale n my wife ordered the "brut champagne" that actually was a Cava. Not cool, kids. Truth will set you free. Cava, Prosecco, Franciacorta, California sparking, Champagne or Crémant, etc. truth in labeling is appreciated. I get it, not ur foo-foo wine bar kinda place and that's ok. Most everyone revealed to us they were from the immediate neighborhood which was encouraging. Very lively and excitable crowd made our brief stop-in very fun. Planning to go back for the sammiches and the vibe. Joe-Bob says pro-ceed on over to Ce-dars

1st the servers/bartenders were AMAZING!!!! Super friendly and attentive, both of them. Order drinks and food all came in hot and delicious. Music high enough to hear but not enough to keep my conversation going. Crowd was respectful and cool to see some locals hang out and see how close the community is. One thing, it is a little pricey for my liking, was in my opinion pricey for 2 with one drink each and food, BUT as visitor and non local I didn't mind it.

First impression.. Super clean establishment! Unisex bathrooms were spotless! (We always go to bathroom first after seating lol!) Very modern interior.. came in sometime after 5pm and it's self seating and server was quick to assist us for drinks and food. They were patient with us and help provided recommendations as it was our party of 3 first time there. We ordered: avocado toast, wagyu and gyro burgers. Man.. all came with crispy fries! Yum. Flavor of the burgers was delicious and good size too! It didn't disappoint for sure. Drinks: We got the watermelon and lychee martini. Sweet and you can't really taste the alcohol which make it delicious and dangerous lol! They had a super cute IG worthy backdrop in a private room that you can book for events which is neat! Only thing is people do smoke cigar out in the patio and we can smell it but if you don't mind the cigar smell or maybe be seated further away from the door it should be fine. Overall, I would definitely come back if I was in the area!

Last night was my first time at Cedars Corner Bar & Kitchen, and it was such a great experience! We were hosting a small Friendsgiving and I arrived early. The location is on the smaller side, but they have a cozy "back room" that can comfortably seat about 11 people -- a table for 8 plus 3 side chairs with mini tables. There's a huge glass window that looks out to the street and a beautiful floral wall with their bar name lit up in lights. I asked if we could use the room for our group and the staff kindly said yes. While I waited, I ordered a Watermelon Breeze -- delicious! Once everyone arrived, we settled in, ordered drinks and appetizers, and everything was amazing. The hush puppies were incredible, and I tried a green tea shot for the first time -- so good! It was everyone's first time here and we're all locals, so it was nice finding a new spot we actually enjoyed together. The bar area on the other side looks perfect for date night or even just coming in solo. Great music, great vibe, and great service from the bartender/servers. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hop will definitely be back!

Food: I ordered the chicken strips and waffle. My husband had the fish and chips made with cod. The chicken strips were hot fresh and a solid 8/.5/10. The waffle tasted really good but could have been hotter. My husband's fish and chips had a good taste but was rather greasy. I'd give an 8/10 overall for the food especially since it's really a cute little bar with some quick and easy dishes. Ambiance: The place is cute and modern. With seating both indoors and outside. They even have a small side room they can serve guest or a group of friends could reserve Service: The service was good. It was a small crew of three but the really worked hard to try and give good service Parking: Parking is limited but not to bad if willing to walk a block Overall: Cute little spot to grab a drink and some good quick food. The portions were decent for the price.

Went for happy hour and enjoyed $6 hibiscus margaritas! Wasn't a big fan of the tacos on taco Tuesday BUT the fish nuggets and chips and mango habanero wings were so so good. There was only one young lady working the bar and serving food but she rocked it. I would definitely go back!

This spot is in a prime location right on the corner, downtown Fairfield. The inside is well lit with large screen TVs behind the full bar. I ordered an espresso martini that was perfection. To eat, I had the 3pc fish combo with fries. They give you a choice of catfish, sole or cod. I chose 2 pieces of catfish and one piece of cod with salt and vinegar fries. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The portions are so large, I was only able to eat one piece of catfish and some fries, and took the rest to go. They also have chicken wings, salads, burgers and appetizers on the menu. This is a cool and casual place to catch up with friends or catch a game with solid food and excellent drinks.

    Wagyu Cheeseburger/Fried Codfish/French Fries/Strawberry Margarita
    Chris H.

We stopped by Cedars Corner Bar & Kitchen for a local dinner in Fairfield, CA. This establishment has been here one year as of July 13, 2025. We ordered a few dishes: Wagyu Cheeseburger & (2) Fried Codfish with 6 pieces of large chicken wings, and French Fries. The food was very good especially fried codfish, my spouse ate the majority of the codfish with a big smile. The fried chicken wings were not over cooked or greasy, just very tasty. The Wagyu Cheeseburger was very good. Their serving of food was too much for us, so we brought the majority of our dinner home. My spouse enjoyed her good Strawberry Margarita, and I had ice cold water. :) Brittany the waitress was very attentive ensuring we did not need anything. In fact, she suggested that we order different meals, then we could try multiple dishes. We are giving them an overall rating of 5 Stars "*****"

Super personable, great energy, and made the whole experience feel effortless. I ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger--smash-style patty with bacon, peanut butter, jelly, Tabasco, and pickles--and wow... one of the most unique and satisfying burgers I've had in a long time. It hits that perfect balance of savory, sweet, and nostalgic. I asked Paul what he would pair with it, and he absolutely nailed it. He introduced me to "Chimp My Ride" from Solano Brewing Company, a rich stout with chocolate and peanut butter notes that complemented the burger perfectly. It honestly brought back that childhood lunchbox feeling in the best way possible. On top of that, Chef Jamie personally brought out the food and took the time to connect--great conversation, great presence, and you can tell there's real pride behind what they're doing here. The vibe, the style, the food, and the people all come together here. Easy five stars. I'll definitely be back.

Within minutes, I knew I'd found exactly where I wanted to spend a hot summer afternoon. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between neighborhood tavern and craft beer destination. Vintage bicycles hang overhead, dozens of rotating taps line the wall, and the energy is lively without ever feeling chaotic. Whether you're catching the match, meeting friends after work, or simply escaping the summer heat, Rustwater has that welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. Following the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the Chicken Ciabatta from the specials board with a side of crispy tater tots, and it was absolutely the right call. The sandwich arrived beautifully presented on a perfectly toasted ciabatta roll with just the right amount of crunch. Inside was juicy grilled chicken layered with smoky bacon, melted provolone, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and a flavorful pesto mayo that brought everything together without overpowering the fresh ingredients. Every bite delivered a wonderful combination of textures and balanced flavors. The tater tots were exactly what great tavern food should be, golden, crisp, and light on the outside with a fluffy interior. They became downright addictive when dipped into a combination of ketchup and a Ghost Hot Sauce that once they are out they are out adding a slow-building kick that complemented the crispy potatoes perfectly. As I enjoyed a cold pint from their outstanding rotating tap list, Spain put the finishing touches on a 2-0 victory over France, sending them to the World Cup Final. Great soccer, an exceptional craft beer, and a fantastic lunch, it doesn't get much better than that on a scorching summer afternoon. Rustwater has earned its reputation over the years, and it's easy to understand why. Friendly service, an outstanding craft beer program, elevated tavern food, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger long after the final whistle. If you're looking for one of downtown Fairfield's best spots to enjoy creative tavern fare, explore an ever-changing lineup of craft beers, and catch the big game, Rustwater Kitchen & Taproom deserves a place on your list. I'll definitely be back to see what's on tap next, and without question, those crispy tater tots will be making another appearance on my table with the ghost hot sauce, if still available, due to the company going out of business.

Earlier that evening, we had stopped at the Filling Station for drinks and did not experience any issues. The bartenders were friendly and kindly helped us. When we returned after dinner, several of us were seated outside while a few coworkers went to the bar to order additional drinks. While we were waiting, an unknown male walked directly toward our group. He approached the only male coworker seated with us, placed both hands on his shoulders, leaned in, and said something into his ear. The man then walked away. After the man walked away from the table, we asked our coworker what he said, and he told us, "If you leave another empty glass on my table, I will kill you." My coworker appeared confused and stated that he did not know the individual. As the man walked away, another coworker and I stood up and asked what had happened. The man continued walking away without responding. At that point, two women who were nearby began arguing with members of our group. During the verbal exchange, one of the women pushed my coworker. Prior to this interaction, the same women had instructed my manager to move over on the bench as soon as space became available. Following the verbal and physical confrontation initiated by the other party, a bartender from the Filling Station directed our group to leave the premises. The other individuals involved in the confrontation were not asked to leave and remained at the venue. Our group complied and walked across the street. From that location, we observed several patrons and staff from the Filling Station pointing in our direction and laughing. A short time later, we observed one of the bartenders walk to the unknown male's parked vehicle, move the vehicle to a parking space adjacent to the Filling Station, hand the keys to the male, and the male then drove away. Law enforcement responded to the scene, and a police report was taken.

Plenty of covered areas as well for the not so pleasant days. Kids and pets are very welcome. There's a playground and grassy area. It's also spacious enough if you just want to be around other adults and not be bothered by all that type of hoopla. There is a rotating carousel of food trucks and live music. Best to check their website calendar to see who is there and when. Plenty of great trucks and wonderful bands from what I've seen thus far. There are also themed events ranging from cornhole tournaments to music bingo. So don't be like me and sit around for years before going. Get off your culo and meet the gang out there. You'll be sure to have a great time!
