I am terrified of surgeries, but Dr. George is the best. He explained everything completely, answered all my questions, and was very patient. His PA, Joel is the same. Their office took care of absolutely everything for me - insurance, setting up my pre-surgical appointment with my primary care doctor, all lab testing scheduled, the surgery scheduled at TOPS surgical center and sending me home with a CPM machine, walker, orthopedic stockings, knee immobilizer, and my home physical therapy and follow up appointments arranged and scheduled. Every tiny detail taken care of ahead of time! It was such a great relief. TOPS surgical center in Houston was incredible as well. Before the surgery, you attend a post op training and meet the nursing staff, the physical therapist (Alfred - awesome guy!) and the anesthesiologist. They literally give you a notebook and explain absolutely everything you need to know about what's going to happen before, during and after surgery. All of my questions were answered. Now, I am 6 weeks post op and doing physical therapy at the KSF Willowbrook office. Everything is going better than I ever imagined and I'm starting to see a future with a knee that bends! You have to go through the Philippines just to get to an office in the US that has no regard for your time or ailment(s). After having been turned down by KSF where my surgeon is because I was in a wheelchair and could not get on their table without assistance, we stopped there on the way home to see if they could do it. The young lady there was great and got us appointment the next day. Then the technician took the table out to, us, got assistants to help get me on the table and sent the report to the doctor right away.
