I filed a police report for the disappearance of cherished high-value items, including heirlooms, and sentimental belongings. Beyond the financial implications, the loss of sentimental and personal belongings caused me significant distress and anxiety and I do not want anyone to have to go through that. The experience was traumatic and frustrating, particularly when they accuse me of lying. They do not want to file a claim so I am left feeling abused by them and the insurance company. I do not want anyone to experience what I have been through. It's awful.

We were very impressed with Wasatch Movers from beginning our search for a moving firm, to the…read moreestimates, to the follow up by both the Operations Manager and Crystal, our contact, prior to the move and most especially to the professional three-man crew sent to move our 4 bedroom, two story house contents from North Salt Lake to Layton. Immediately I preferred my voice mails, text, e mails and best of all phone conversations with Crystal as she was not calling from a busy call center. Wasatch does not charge a separate several hundred dollar fee to drive to your location and back to their location. They merely start the clock when the crew leaves their place of business at the same hourly rate for a two, three or four man crew and truck. They also do not charge 18% of the total bill as an extra "Fuel Charge." This fee was well hidden in the fine print for most of their competitors. My total bill was more than $100 LESS than the low side of the estimate scale per the mover websites. None of our belongings were damaged and my son who is an experienced employee supervisor was very impressed with their quick and efficient work. Highly recommend these movers.

The company I originally had scheduled bailed a few days beforehand, so I got incredibly lucky with Classified Moving having availability just 2 days before needed. They were very responsive via Yelp DMs, showed up 20 minutes early, super friendly, and had the work done incredibly quick (within 90 minutes). I took my dog on a walk while they were moving things in and they left everything clean and neatly organized. Pricing was lower than most others I looked at, it started at 100/hr with a 2 hr minimum. Would definitely use again!

Respectfully and realistically, had I been informed that our 100-year-old family heirloom would be completely dismantled and left in hundreds of pieces with no photos, labeling, or guidance for reassembly, I would have chosen to move the piece myself or made different arrangements entirely. That option was never presented to me. One mover spent approximately two to three hours dismantling this single item. During that time, I was upstairs where the bulk of the household packing was taking place, I was supervising or answering questions, as I reasonably assumed the work being done downstairs aligned with the agreed scope of the move. There was only one room downstairs, Tv stand, a desk and most of the other items there were already stacked or boxed. As a result, one person spent a disproportionate amount of time on a single item while the majority of the home was being packed elsewhere. What is most troubling is not a disagreement over policy of the dismantling, but the absence of empathy and accountability in your response. This situation did not need to happen this way, and being told that correcting it requires additional payment only deepens the disappointment. I feel unheard and disrespected.

These guys were careful and efficient. They came to my home on time and did exactly what was needed. We were getting new carpet installed in three rooms and we needed all of the furniture moved off the carpet and into another room. After the carpet was installed Eddie and team returned promptly as planned and moved everything back exactly how it was. He even remembered where each of the pieces of furniture should go. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the cost and would hire these guys again.

I know this already, but stupidly assumed basic human decency in the rush to get packed up and moved. The guys also moved our TV console without properly packing it. I told them to leave it alone because I needed to empty it. Not only did they move it anyway, but they flipped it with a Wii, Ipad, and PS4 inside. Luckily nothing broke, but the Ipad and Wii controller were both a bit scratched up. We have a lot of cameras, and saw poor handling and wild uncoordinated taping which led to the bottom falling out of some boxes. I will say they worked fast, but if you have fragile or expensive things I wouldn't let them touch it.

A few months ago, a crew from this company (Shawn, Jesse, and Charlie) was hired to help move our apartment neighbor. Funny enough, we were moving on the exact same day, so we were constantly in each other's way.. sharing the walkway, 3 flights of stairs, etc. We all know how stressful moving can be, but this team went out of their way to help us too!! They genuinely restored a little of my faith in humanity. Whenever they had a free moment, or after they finished moving our neighbor's items, they would each grab a load and help us carry things.. simply out of kindness! And before anyone complains, our neighbor wasn't upset. Their help didn't slow down or interfere with his move at all. Their willingness to help speaks volumes about both the company and the team they have. They truly go above and beyond, and that's exactly the kind of service and character you hope to see from a moving crew. He argued with my friend that was helping me and when I said that he was lippy with customers he went nuts. I had to call and get a replacement for the third guy that I hired and they swapped him out. I finally started to unpack some items as I have been dealing with the family emergency and notice sugar is all over my electronics. They also damaged a wall trim. During the move they dropped items several times. I'm sure as I slowly unpack I'll find more.
