I remain disappointed that your reply does not acknowledge the lack of communication and respect shown in how this situation was handled. Respectfully and realistically, had I been informed that our 100-year-old family heirloom would be completely dismantled and left in hundreds of pieces with no photos, labeling, or guidance for reassembly, I would have chosen to move the piece myself or made different arrangements entirely. That option was never presented to me. One mover spent approximately two to three hours dismantling this single item. During that time, I was upstairs where the bulk of the household packing was taking place, I was supervising or answering questions, as I reasonably assumed the work being done downstairs aligned with the agreed scope of the move. There was only one room downstairs, Tv stand, a desk and most of the other items there were already stacked or boxed. As a result, one person spent a disproportionate amount of time on a single item while the majority of the home was being packed elsewhere. What is most troubling is not a disagreement over policy of the dismantling, but the absence of empathy and accountability in your response. This situation did not need to happen this way, and being told that correcting it requires additional payment only deepens the disappointment. I feel unheard and disrespected. read more

Easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. I cannot write enough to disparage how horrible the value of service was for my family. We used them to move our home from Utah to California in August and a large number of our items were lost, destroyed or misplaced and we received...$49 in compensation. Several of their contractors were rude, dismissive and disrespectful towards my mother and her needs and they didn't give a single shit when they put things in the wrong places. Our items arrived 2 weeks later than we were told they would and we were forced to sleep on the floor during that period of time while we waited for them to finish up with another order that we were repeatedly told took priority over us. I would rate this lower if I could and I will be extremely vocal about telling everyone I know to avoid this company for the rest of my life. Warning!!! Do not hire Miracle Movers or trust anything Andrew says about the quality of their services. My initial experience with Miracle Movers was good as noted below in my initial reviews, but during my second service with them to help us move into our basement they damaged a piece of trim around a door. I asked them to fix the damage and filed a claim just like I did for the damage they caused during our first move service. After our first move, Andrew sent the repair person to fix the damage, and he did a great job fixing our walls and trims where they dinged the walls. However, today Andrew denied my claim for the basement door trim damage stating I had signed a contract that waived their responsibility for damage. It's complete nonsense because I signed the same agreements during the first move, and they were happy to send the repair person. It seems Miracle Movers backs up their service when you spend $10,000, but if you spend a few hundred dollars for a couple hour move they will not back up their service. My original reviews: "The Miracle Movers were awesome and worked incredibly hard. Thank you! We had Matt and the crew over for a second time to help us move into our basement. They worked so hard and are the most friendly guys. I highly recommend Miracle Movers!" Andrew and Miracle Movers no longer back up their service and repair their damage. Find a different mover! Here is Andrew's response to me after my claim to repair the damage to my basement when I asked him to explain why they repaired the damage after my first move but are refusing to fix their damage after my second service. Andrew: "During the initial move, we did not anticipate any risk of damage. However, when handling large items--particularly in situations requiring door removal or maneuvering through tight spaces--there is always an inherent risk. In such cases, we ensure that customers are fully informed, and the decision to proceed is placed in their hands. By agreeing to continue with the move under these circumstances, customers acknowledge and accept the potential for damage." No one explained to me I was signing a contract that excuses Miracle Movers from fixing damage to my house. That was never part of my discussion with Matt. Andrew's response is ridiculous because they repaired all the damage from my first move for free even though I signed the same agreements. It seems they have great customer service when you spend $10,000, but change their ethical values on jobs that cost a few hundred dollars. Don't let these guys fools you, they will back up their service when they make money on you, but if backing up their service causes a financial loss, they will change their procedures and refuse to do what's right. Two other things to note, their initial quote for my first move was about $4000 less than it actually cost. They are not good at estimating work. Secondly, after my first move, they sent me a $50 gift card for future moving service, but Andrew refused to accept his own gift card because he "gave me a good deal on a job that's less than their two hour minimum." So the lesson here folks is when they need work, they will break their own rules but beware because they won't back up their service after they break their own rules. read more

UNHAPPY with my experience! Moved my mother from an assisted living to an apartment. She is elderly and doesn't have a lot of money. They completely destroyed her dresser that was barely a year old. When I filed a claim with all the pertinent information they said that they were only responsible to give her $66 - which doesn't help her at all. Then they wanted me to sign a release stating that I will not give a negative review of my experience. If you have the basic valuation - they do not explain that if they break something - they basically give you $0.60 per pound for any damaged item. which SCREWS elderly little old ladies who do not have a lot of expensive things. I decided, last minute, to hire movers for a local move. I called Miracle Movers and told them what I was moving and what I was willing to pay. I gave them a final box count and we reviewed the photos of all my furniture. I agreed with their estimate which was 25% higher than what I wanted to pay. Before they arrived, I moved all of the 95 boxes out into the garage to help get the final cost down since they bill by the hour. The final cost was double my starting number. So they need to do some work to provide better estimates. But on the plus side, they were careful with my belongings and getting from the truck to my apartment on the 4th floor was quite the hike. After they left, I plugged my recliner in and it wasn't working. I looked underneath and found that two of the wires must have been tangled up with whatever it was that they used to move it, and the wires were stretched to the breaking point. The company sent 2 people over to see if they could fix it. Two hours later we abandoned the effort and they told me to give them a few days to see what they could do to make it right. In the end, they found a new recliner and let me sit on it and try it on for size. It is nice, it is new, and it reclines. So I said, fair enough. They had gone the extra mile, and gave me more than they were obligated to do per the contract ($0.60/lb). We agreed on a delivery date and Andrew showed up right on time and delivered my new recliner to my place and hauled away the chair (which is that you call a recliner that doesn't recline). A brother in law of mine who happens to be elderly and handicapped asked me to help him move from Lehi to Saint George. I set up miricle movers to come in and make the move for us. Worst mistake I ever made. Let me start by saying everything in this house was show room quality like Thomasville and eathon Allen. No kids and not a scratch or nick on anything. After the movers Unloaded at the new house. What a disaster. 16 pieces of furniture and art work was damaged. Some beyond repair. After three months of being lied to by Landon at miricle movers. First it was we will get what can be repaired fixed and go from there. Then it was we will turn it over to our insurance. But insurance won't cover the damages. Said claim is not valid. Hi Dwayne, My name is Amanda and I'm the CFO at Miracle Movers. I apologize for the inconvenience of this situation but do want to thank Don for his business. We have never had a claim like this for damaged items in the history of our business. I've reviewed all the documents sent along with the pictures of the damages. I'd like to correct a statement in your letter, we have always had insurance for our business and have never had a lapse in coverage. The damages were denied under our liability policy as the policy covers property damage (I.e. to the home itself). This whole situation should have gone to our valuation policy from the beginning, this is described in the subsequent paragraph. The receipts provided in your email show that all furniture items were purchased by Don in 2005 and 2006, 15 years ago. The average useful life of furniture when calculating depreciation is 7-15 years which means that based on depreciation the value of these furniture items has significantly diminished over time. All damages to items are nicks and scratches and do not warrant a full item replacement. We will be following our valuation policy which is described below when determining the damage payout for this claim. Attached to the final invoice that was emailed to you on 5/7/2021, there is our valuation policy which is formally called "Released Value" and this is a federal law of our liability limits as a moving company, we are not an insurance company. We may also suggest that homeowner's policies may cover some of this as well if you'd like to look into that with Don on your own accord. As our valuation policy states, our maximum liability is $0.60 per pound per article. Our policy also states that there is a $250 deductible which we are waiving for you. We will only be providing compensation based on this policy for the original items mentioned back in May (headboard, 2 statues, radio, sled table, 2 dressers, 2 lamps, and 2 dining room chairs) which were those that you provided pictures of in May in our texts. We will be compensating the items at $0.60 per pound per damaged article. This is the maximum liability rate required (usually meant for a total loss of an item) but we are giving Don the max valuation even though the damages are cosmetic only. After doing our internal research and putting the original damaged inventory list in our CRM software, which calculates weight, it has been determined the weight of the covered items is 810 pounds. As a result, we will reimburse $0.60 per pound of that amount, coming to $486. This is the maximum payout that Miracle Movers will be providing. A check will be mailed to Don at his St George home within 7-14 business days. I was so impressed with the Miracle Movers experience! They were so helpful every step of the way, and when I had to change my move date twice, they handled it quickly and efficiently. The crew they sent to my home to execute the move were amazing! They were cheerful, very professional, and handled many difficult tear downs and reassemblies. Don't ever use Miracle Movers! They handled a move out of my house on 5/6 & dented my fridge in multiple places, damaged my walls, & scratched my floor! The best part is their movers did not even mention any of the damage they caused! When they called to fix the walls I advised them I am getting my basement painted so they didnt need to worry about repairing it. They agreed to come look at my floor & I was assured by Landon my floor would be fixed & he would take care of me! He came a 2nd time with a buddy & they wanted to try some wood pens, etc, which I was open to. They came back today & tried the pens. These lightened the appearance of the scratch but did not fix it of course. The friend, who currently does not install flooring as his occupation btw, said this job could end up being complicated & could potentially rip my flooring & become a big job. Landon changed his tune of making sure "I was taken care & satisfied" & said the pen was all he is willing to do now. He was willing to fix the damage until he discovered it could be expensive for the company! Don't let this company in your house. They will not repair damage done to your home by their workers! Miracle Movers SAVED OUR ASSES!!! It's been about 10 months since they moved us from our old house to the new house, but I'm still compelled to finally write in a good review for them. Originally we made the mistake of booking with All My Sons Moving, two weeks prior. Their office dropped the ball at every opportunity. They missed putting us on their schedule to start with, then changed our move time twice, and then called us after they were already an hour late to say they couldn't make it, something about help calling in sick and a broken down truck. Reading Yelp reviews on them now, it seems to be their standard excuse when they've over-booked. They seemed happy and relatively unapologetic to leave us stranded - late on a Saturday evening - with seemingly no hope of finding another mover, and needing to be out in about 36 hours. My wife was in tears! She called around frantically looking for another furniture mover. Funny enough she happened onto Miracle Movers (named appropriately enough). They scrambled together a truck, a couple of office people, and the owner himself. They came out at the last minute, on a Saturday night, and they (along with a few of my neighbors) got us out of a desperate jam. They were at our house in an hour. I paid a slightly higher rate (understandably) and tipped each one of them $100 anyway. Well worth it. Nobody I mean NObody believes it should take 7 to 8 hours to move ANYWHERE!!! the owner spoke about professionalism when I and my friend called him he answered the phone from his truck!!! he said he would call me back in 10 mins which turned out to be 50mins!!! once he finally did call back he asked me to explain my situation I told him that I have a 3 bedroom apartment that started off as a 2 bedroom but was made into a 3 bedroom I tried my best to explain to him by telling him that I know it may seem that all rooms are furnished and that he thought i may have furniture all throughout the house which was untrue!!! the fire escape is huge that's how my furniture got inside my place to begin with. there was NO NEED FOR A EXTRA GUY! and it shouldn't have to take a whole entire day to move a bedroom set and sofa! of course I laughed in his face like anybody else would after hearing it would take 7-8 hours to move!!! after he said if I think this a joke then go find someone else (how professional is that?) there was nothing else that was needed to be said. adding extra men, extra fees, and extra time, for a simple apartment move is insane!!!
