Here's my honest review! Food: Honey walnut shrimp 5/5. The shrimp was crunchy, with a bit of sweetness. I love it! Young Chow fried rice 3/5. The rice was dry and chewy. Kurobota pork & shrimp Xiao Long Bao 3/5. The meat filling was too small. Steam shrimp & Pork Siu Mai 3/5. The wrapper was so thick with a small filling Hot and sour soup 4/5. Egg drop soup 4/5. Service: 5/5. The food arrived at our table quickly. The only issue I have is that the person who served the soup almost dipped her finger in the soup. She should've placed the small bowl on a saucer to avoid her finger almost touching the soup. The price: fair and reasonable. Ambiance: the tables and chairs they added in the middle are overcrowded.

This place is really good! Was a ruby diner before and they converted to a dim sum / Chinese restaurant. The place is spacious with easy parking. Shared the parking with a Tesla charging station so very convenient if you drive one. We got shrimp and pork sui mai, Pan fried dumplings, beef rolls and chili wonton. Food came out fairly quickly and all tasted great. Also the people working there were really nice. Will repeat.

Ordered to-go and was impressed overall. Paid around $70. The chicken wonton soup was a 10/10, chili oil chicken wontons 10/10, marinated cucumber salad 10/10, and the steamed beef and onion dumplings were also a 10/10. The fried cheese wontons were good as well, around a 7/10. The only item I wasn't a fan of was the house special chicken wings (3/10). When I cut into them, they were much pinker inside than I was comfortable with. They may have been fully cooked, but I didn't want to take the risk, so I threw them away. They also didn't seem very flavorful from what I could tell. Everything else was delicious. The customer service was decent, parking was easy, and the restaurant itself is very large inside. I ordered takeout this time, but I'd definitely like to dine in during a future visit. One thing I really appreciated was the variety of options for people who don't eat pork. That's not always easy to find, and they had plenty of choices. Overall, the food was excellent, and I'll be back to try more items from the menu. My true rating is 4.5

This is a convenient place to dine for one, two four or larger groups. The staff is very friendly and prompt in greeting one when entering the restaurant. The food was delicious and freshly made to order. I also order some take out food for the next day's meal: deep fried sesame dumplings ball, eggplant stir Fry and Chinese broccoli. Great portions, too. Plenty of parking. And adjacent is a separate charging area your E- cars.

It is rare for me to walk out of a restaurant, but today was an exception. From the moment we were seated, we were not given menus for about 10 minutes until I asked for them. We placed our order and asked for a cup of ice for our water, but needed to ask again because we weren't given it. They served our pan fried dumplings without the rest of our order which included beef roll and vegetable egg rolls. As we waited, we noticed customers who came in after us getting their food before us. We cancelled the order and closed the check with the one item because it turned out our order wasn't being prepared. They are having a soft opening, so hopefully they will learn from the mistakes that happened here. The staff were friendly and apologetic - which is why this isn't a one star review. Unfortunately, I won't return because there are better restaurants closer to where I live.

Clean restaurant, delicious food, good location nice spot area services so nice! we'll be back!

Really really delicious food! Sadly I was only able to take one photo because I got excited lol We ordered the fried rice, both steamed and fried pork dumplings, and siu mai dumplings. The server was incredibly nice and suggested we leave room for dessert and ordered the chocolate and mochi dumplings. So glad we took her advice! Just the perfect balance to end the meal!

By far this is best dumplings in Anaheim area. Prices is right and reasonable. I love the location it just off from fwy and the restaurant next to it. Parking lots is big next to Tesla charger. My favorite is chilli oil with pork wonton with special sauce. Food came out quickly. Server all attentive. Great food good price. I'll be back soon

Everything was amazing! I'm already thinking about the next time I can come back. The service was fast and we got seated right away. Food came out within 5-10 minutes after ordering. It all had so much flavor. Lots of seating tables and booths. Staff is very friendly! I highly recommend coming here !

I love fresh hot food in a clean environment and nice people. Ruby Tuesdays used to be here. I just happened to pass by and saw something new. I had to stop and take a look inside. They have plenty of room for all of your guests. Their staff is friendly and on point.

Came in for their soft opening. The service was amazing. They were all so friendly. Food was well prepared hot to the table and everything tasted amazing. Will be coming back here many times. The interior was nice clean and it had tables for multiple different parties in different size groups

came in during their soft opening and i was not disappointed! my boyfriend and i came in around 1pm on a monday and there were a few other tables but no wait! inside is very clean and spacious and the servers were very kind and attentive. we ended up wanting to try a little bit of everything so we got the pan fried beef roll, bbq pork fried rice, stir fried green beans, dan dan noodles, pan fried chicken and corn dumplings, and the pork chili oil wontons. it only took about 10-15 mins for everything to come out and it was all jam packed with flavor! i would definitely recommend trying this place out if you're ever in the area. i hope they get lots of service because their food is worth it!

Was excited to try a new Chinese food restaurant that was close! Anaheim is truly lacking in great Chinese food.. was hoping this would fill the gap. Did it? Not really All in all I'd say the food was "fine". Not great. Not horrible The menu is huge. Dumplings. Noodle soup Dim sum. & Standard American/Chinese fair. We ordered salt and pepper pork chop. Not salty. Not crispy. Boney. Not spicy. "Fine" Won tons in chili oil. Pretty lack luster. The chili oil had a weirdly sweet quality to it. Dumplings were your standard won ton soup dumplings.very soft Beef roll- again. "Fine". It was probably the best thing of the dinner.. but Noodle st has theirs beat We ordered sparingly. Thinking we might order more. But decided to just stop there once we tried the dishes we ordered Service was fantastic. Really cheery and friendly. Fast too. One thing that I will call out... that damn bell the cook rings when a dish is ready to be picked up. It's loud and resonates through the dining room. It's pretty unpleasant Restaurant on the inside didn't change much from its Rubys days. And that's fine. It's clean and appealing So .. food. Three stars Service five stars Over all four stars. Generous.. but I want to see the place succeed and will give it a second chance. Still waiting for a great Chinese food place in Anaheim ..

Parking was easy, no wait to be seated on a Thursday evening and service was prompt and also checked up on us throughout the meal. Szechuan eggplant - so yum, arrived piping hot, it was coated in a super thin breading first before being fried and then coated in the Szechuan sauce. Slightly spicy, tangy and sweet, the classic Szechuan eggplant. Fish with veggies - loved how light but flavorful this dish was. Tender fish filet with garlic and a bunch of veggies, doesn't look very flavorful but it was very good! Would get again as a lighter dish compared to the others. Garlic pork - 魚香肉絲 this is typically my favorite dish in Chinese restaurants and saw it titled similarly in the menu but realized it's not cut into 絲 and it included celery, which the dish typically does not include. Not complaining though, the flavor was still great and I loved the dish, just different than what I expected. Sesame chicken - similar to orange chicken but without the orange flavor. Came piping hot and had good pieces of chicken within the breading. Sweet and sour, liked the flavor alot. The dishes came with rice! Would totally come back again to try the other dishes. Happy to find a local spot where I can get Chinese food as there are not too many options around here.

My husband ordered the seafood boil style shrimp. We also ordered extra egg rolls for appetizers. The egg rolls came out instantly! They were soggy and cold. Did not come with any dipping sauce either. The chow mein had a shrimp taste to it, a strong shrimp taste! Very turned off by that. The kung pao chicken was "ok" there were more vegetables than chicken. The seafood boil style shrimp was TERRIBLE! Had very little seasoning, hardly any sauce and came lukewarm. Yuck on many levels. The service was just as bad as the food. Never checked on us ONCE or even spoke to us for that matter, after taking our order, other than to give us the bill. Rude as hell. Really pissed at the friend that recommended this place. Hoping I can spare some of you the trouble and wasted money. It's trash. Would never come back.

Free parking in a small rear lot shared with Walgreens (it will look like you're pulling in to Hyatt parking). Mild noise level inside; can be noisy outside depending on how busy the adjacent road is. They have a good amount of food and drink options, from noodles and rice to dumplings and pig ears. Fountain drinks are self-serve, and they also offer canned and bottled drinks. The veggie dishes, fried rice, and noodles are delicious. I highly recommend the spicy wontons. Their dim sum options aren't the best I've ever had, but their other menu items make up for it. You order at the kiosk and pick up your food when your number is called (they sometimes bring it out to you if you're outside). Prices are on the higher side, so don't go here on a budget. This spot used to be Luscious Dumplings (received a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2021), but the Chubby Group took over and rebranded it as Chubby Dumplings. [Parking]: Free parking in the rear and the parking spaces are shared with Hyatt House and Walgreens. [Amenity & service]: Small space with both indoor and few outdoor tables. A restroom is available. Our party waited approximately 20 minutes for the food even though the restaurant was only half full. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, and Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. *** Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings (6 pieces - $13.50): The skin was a bit thicker than I had expected and the broth had an average flavor. Steamed Chicken & Corn Dumplings (6 pieces - $13.00): I should have read the menu more closely as these steamed dumplings contained corn and I certainly wasn't expecting this ingredient. They tasted alright. Shrimp with Pork Siu Mai (6 pieces - $12.50): Ironically this appetizer order was probably the best of the three, but damn hefty price tags for 6 small pieces of pork siu mai. *** 3-star for the food but bump down due to (1) the food took a long time to prepare (20+ minutes) despite this being a fast-casual restaurant and (2) the portions were small relative to the somewhat expensive prices. This is the most disappointing restaurant I have experienced out of all the restaurants I have visited that are part of the Chubby Group.

I really wish they had a Chinese food spot like this nearby me…read more Prior to meeting with someone I had lunch here. I was blown away by the many variety and affordable pricing. Monday through Friday they offer great lunch pricing. They also had lunch pricing for the weekends as well. And they had great family combo sets which is what I went with. I came with one other person and we decided on the 3 people dinner set which included eggrolls, choice of soup, broccoli beef, orange chicken, chow mien, and choice of rice. Before our food came out the nice waitress brought us complementary fried wontons and sweet & sour sauce to munch on. It was a great start to our meal. The eggrolls were vegetarian. And for my soup I got the hour & sour which was really nice and comforting. The person I came with got their egg drop option which they enjoyed. For rice we went with the fried rice option instead of just white rice. It was on the blander side but we dressed it up with some table soy sauce. The chow mien was good but the texture of the chicken in it was a little odd. We still chowed down on it though. The beef broccoli was probably the best thing there. It was so flavorful. The orange chicken were very large pieces. The sauce on it was good. We were blown away by how much food we got and ended up having a lot of left overs. Our entire meal was priced slightly below $50. What a great deal! Our waitress was super nice and food came out quick. She made sure to check on us. The inside of the restaurant is casual but spacious. We enjoyed out time there and definitely would come back.

I apparently have emotional support soup. They're open late, which automatically earns bonus points for me. Sometimes a hot and sour soup craving crashes into my evening at 9 PM with the urgency of a medical emergency, and it's deeply reassuring to know that Lantern Garden is standing by to answer the call. The auntie working behind the counter was incredibly kind and patiently explained the entree options when I asked whether they came with rice. When I learned that a side bowl was $3, I briefly slipped into my "back in the day" era and held a tiny memorial service for the days when rice practically came free. Then I remembered it's 2026, sighed dramatically, and accepted my fate. I ordered the one bowl special with country style tofu, and of course, the hot and sour soup. The soup arrived at approximately the temperature of the earth's molten core. Did that stop me from taking an immediate bite? Of course not. I nearly sacrificed my taste buds because patience has never been one of my defining traits. It was worth every poor life decision. The soup was everything I'd been craving- tangy, savory, deeply comforting, and gloriously vinegar-forward. Every spoonful felt like my sinuses were receiving a warm hug while my soul quietly unclenched. If this soup had a loyalty program, I'd already be working toward platinum status. The country style tofu was equally delightful. The tofu was soft, fluffy, and wonderfully sponge-like, happily soaking up every drop of the savory sauce. Onions, serrrano peppers, carrots, and mushrooms, rounded everything out, creating a dish that somehow tasted both hearty and comforting, like something my childhood would have loved, even if it had never actually eaten it. The biggest plot twist was the portion size. What I assumed would be dinner turned into dinner and tomorrow's lunch. A few things spark as much joy as realizing future me has already been fed by past me's questionable ability to estimate portion sizes. Between the generous servings, genuinely warm service, late night hours, and a hot and sour soup that has already claimed permanent residency in my brain, I'll absolutely be back. At this point, it's less a question of if and more a question of when the next soup craving comes knocking.
