Okay so I started coming to this place because a friend referred me and believe me when I say it has been my favorite place to get my nails done, pedi, eyebrows and all here. I've been their loyal customer for over 15 yrs! Yes! You read right lol.. it's a small family owned business and let me tell you Quincy and Billy are the nicest ppl as well as their staff. Vanessa does a great job, my daughter always gets her nails done with her and for me its Sophia, she can basically do any design I take her. And I honestly always take two to three photos with designs for her to do :)) When I leave the place I always leave with a smile on my face and feeling sexy. Located in a sketchy area and by the reviews, it seems like it's common to get scammed here. Called and asked how much dip was, she said $35. It was the only place that was taking me that early and I had no other option. As soon as she starts, she tells me they don't have dip powder and a better version (she was talking about acrylic, where she dips her brush in acetone + powder) ‍. They had 4 of the basic colors to choose from, and I didn't get why she didn't say that on the phone. She was asking me 101 questions about whether I live in the area, how many carats my jewelry was, and what job I worked because my hands were soft while speaking in her native language every time I would answer her. I felt very uncomfortable and she would tell me that she's charging me an extra $5 to shape my natural nails into almond and extra $5 to clean my skin. I explained that she said she'd charge me $35 and she said it's extra to do the things I wanted. Keep in mind I've been many average nail salons that are way more professional and true to their pricing. She kept saying I was getting the best deal around town as if I'm not familiar with the area. Time to pay and she says "I'm charging you 50". She included a $5 tip for herself without asking for my permission?!!!! I was already so uncomfortable and eager to leave, I couldn't believe I was going through this. She only took 20 mins on my nails! They didn't even look good!! I've gotten REAL dip for $40 with a perfect job that takes over an hour! I hate scammers and how some people feel the need to up their prices based off of how you look or what you wear. I saw one lady getting the works done. She was sitting in one of those spa chairs, she looked all relaxed while they work away on her. She had one lady doing her feet, the other doing her hands and one lady waxing her eyebrows. Impressive. I had the spa pedicure for 13 bucks. They asked if I wanted to upgrade and wasn't pushy about it. Its like no? Ok.... The nail technician was pretty fast. She got her skills down. Even with the speed I didn't feel like she was doing a half ass job. There was only 2 issues that I diddn't like Polish selection. No brand names, no new trendy colors. Just a bunch of simple shades. At the beginning quince will do my nails she will do a good job but as soon as more customers will walk in she will hurry up and finish doing a bad job and will hurt my nails just to get more $$$ with a new clients :( . So then one day for a full refill she send me with Sophia :). I came here for the first time about three weeks ago I had my nails done by Billy & overall he's a very nice guy. My nails are very sensitive and I thought that he did a superb job in carefully handling my nails. I have been coming here for over 8 years and i always get my nails done with Quincy which is the owner, every time i went she would charge me for a gel full set (no design) and pedicure about $70-80 bucks i always like the quality of her work and i didn't mind paying the price until recently. the last 3 times i came she was rushing to do my nails possibly because she was busy but i still don't think that is a valid excuse to do a shitty job. Every time im there she will stop working on me to do someone else and i never cared to say anything either the last time i was there i requested a specific design and when i showed her the picture she said ''yeah yeah i can do" and when i realized they looked nothing like the picture and i told her and she said ''oh well i don't have that specific polish'' to what i responded well that is why i asked she seemed bothered that i didn't like them and at the end i had to get a plain color due to her not letting me know she was not able to do the design i requested. Point of this story is that i came back after that time and i just came to the conclusion that she doesn't put in the same effort anymore and she definitely over charges for her services I've gone to other places and i pay at least 20 bucks less than what she charges me and it's sad because she's loosing a loyal customer overall quality is no longer the same and its a expensive compared to other nail salons so i would suggest to go somewhere else instead. read more

I came here for a pedicure today around 5 & there was nobody there so I was able to sit down right away. It's a really small, kind of tucked away place, which is nice in my opinion- but it's in a sketchy little area. My pedicure was just ok. She did the foot scrub/callous remover without asking & it was more of an exfoliation & not actual callous remover. I was confused because she just kind of said "callous remover, ok?" while already doing it. I was going to ask for it but I found it super strange that she started doing it before I asked and without asking me if I wanted it. Then I asked for an extra 5 min massage but I don't think she knew I saw the time & she only did 3 mins. Honestly, wasn't a big deal to me. The 2 stars is mostly due to the fact that she charged me $35 for a basic pedicure with regular polish ($20 + $5 callous remover + $5 extra massage). She never offered the deluxe to me, so I decided basic would be fine & it was going to be $30. The deluxe pedicure, which included more services & has gel polish is $35. I don't think she knew I had looked up prices before going in. I was going to tip her 10 & tipped her 5 instead, so I didn't end up spending more than I planned to.. I just don't appreciate being finessed for more money. I just won't be returning & encourage you to go elsewhere also. read more

I have been coming here well over 8 years. I always loved the vibe and the owners are super sweet but their quality of work is definitely going down and their prices are going up. I paid $65 which is not bad for a mani pedi and a full gel set. Problem is my mani pedi were literally both done in under 15 minutes combined and the job is not good at all I will definitely have to go somewhere else to redo it. My nails are ONLY OK. they were done in a hurry and then they pushed me over to someone else and that being they know me and my family for a very long time and no there was no one else waiting. SAVE YOUR $$$ - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE So to start off, let me just say that I used to be an avid customer from 2015-2017. Quincy knows me and my sister very well.. I actually stopped coming here because I brought my bf a couple of times for a pedicure & the last time I took him he ended up contracting some type of fungal infection on the bottom of his big toe that turned into an infection almost all the way to his bone! True story, I'm not exaggerating! I have medical receipts and everything. Anyway, I ended up finding a new MUCH CLEANER nail salon that I still currently go to (got my pedicure done by them this past Saturday). Fast forward to today, my nail tech was booked and I was in the area because of work, so I decided to stop by because Quincy does a very good job (usually) with shape and design. My mistake for thinking she could pull this one off. So I go in for something similar to the first picture (just the ombré) but with the color of the 2nd picture. She pulls out a powder color VERY close to the one I wanted, at this point I'm hyped because I'm like "hell yeah I knew she could do it". But once she gets started she goes on to basically cover my entire nail with the blue. & I'm like can you just do it a little lower. And she says "that's not possible, that can only be done with gel... in my head I knew I had seen Instagram nail techs do what I wanted WITH powder 1,000,000 times. Lol anyway I let her try with gel, NO SUCCESS. So I met her halfway with letting her try with glitter polish, it's glitter how bad can it get. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, she left my hands looking like they belonged to a mermaid stripper - which I have no choice other than to fix myself and keep for 2 weeks or until I can't take them off she tried to charge me $52 + a tip for this hack job. Then when I go to tell her *politely "Quincy you're gonna charge me $52? they're lumpy" she spazzes out on me saying okay $45 you don't want to pay, you give me headache it's gel it gets like that. WTH this lady is trippin thinking I'm THAT cheap. But I know quality over quantity. So if you've made it this far down my rant - do yourself the favor and go somewhere else, KEEP YOUR $$$ read more

So this is what happened...I walked in asking for a full set and they sat me down and they said ok. The guy started doing my nails and I said I want a full set "no gel". Ok so he cut me with the filing machine, I started bleeding. I didn't say anything, I tried to not let it bother me. So then when he asked what color I wanted he handed me a basket. And I said I just want white color. He said ok. So he had some other girl paint my nails and she started to paint my nails white so I didn't think anything of it. Then she pulls out the "gel machine " I was like "oh no"I don't want gel. And the girl got all pissed off and started screaming at me ... smh. She said "why you looking at the basket with the gel color" and I said "I didn't look at the basket, the guy handed it to me " she started talking in the language and started pulling on my hand. I'm so please to have found this nail spa! I came for a pedicure and wanted a callus treatment as well. My feet have been pretty abused this summer so it was a tough job for them. Mimi was great - she handled the calluses well and did a lovely job on the gel pedicure.
