Sam started by removing my old polish, and after about 5-10 minutes, Susan took over. Susan did a really good job cleaning around and underneath my nails, and I loved how my French tip turned out. She made sure to clean up the edges and even added a pink clear coat, which is actually what I prefer anyway. My nails came out so pretty! The basic pedicure was $30 and my total was $38 because of the $8 gel-removal fee. The whole thing took about 50 minutes, which I thought was pretty reasonable. The only downside was the strong chemical smell when I first walked in. It was pretty intense and honestly started giving me a little headache. Other than that, I had a really good experience. They also have a stamp card where you get a stamp for services $15+, and your 10th stamp gets you $10 off. They offer gift certificates too, which I thought was nice. Overall, I'm really happy with my pedicure and how my nails turned out. I'll definitely be back!

The salon is nice, and I can see they've tried to renovate it, but I wouldn't call it 100% accommodating. The bathroom and baseboards still look old, and the chairs don't have a massage feature. I notice details that other people might not, but none of that was a reason for me to stop coming. I told them from the beginning that I'm picky. I'm polite, but I know what I want and always tell nail salons upfront. I've been getting my nails done since I was 15, and I'm 45 now. My nails are thin and brittle, and psoriasis affects how they look. Sometimes they can look like they might have fungus, but that's what psoriasis does to my nails. I need a technician who understands that. My first appointment went well. I really liked my pedicure and the woman who did it. She's a sweetheart. The nail technician is nice and does a good job, though she has a strong personality that can come across as a little rude. I have a strong personality too, so I gave it a chance. Both technicians are fast, which I love because I travel a lot for work and don't want to spend hours in a nail salon. A full set and pedicure took about an hour and 15 minutes. Both looked cute, and I got what I wanted. About a month later, I called and asked for a fill. When I arrived, the nail technician started removing my nails. She then told me that next time we should do a fill because my nails are so brittle. I told her I had asked for a fill when I called, and that she'd said she would decide whether to remove them once she saw them. She told me that regardless of what I say on the phone, I should discuss what we agreed on directly with her when I come in. I said okay, but I also wondered why my request hadn't been communicated to her. That's part of having a receptionist. I was irritated, but my second full set and pedicure looked good, so I decided to come back. At my next visit, she removed the polish, saw that the nails underneath didn't look good, and decided to take the set off. I also switched from an oval shape to a shorter, simpler coffin shape. The next day, the color started chipping. My sister said that can happen with a solid color using gelx, but I was about to leave the country for work and wanted my nails to look professional. I called the salon, explained the chipping, and asked to come in to fix it. I offered to pay. The person on the phone insisted there would be no charge and booked me. I even asked if she was sure, and she said yes. I want to emphasize that I offered to pay because I value people's work. When I came in, they saw me fairly quickly. Nobody mentioned a charge before or during the appointment. At the end, the nail technician told me it would be $35. I paid and gave her a $7 tip. I wasn't going to change my character over it, but I was irritated. I don't know whether the receptionist failed to tell the technician what she'd promised. My issue isn't paying, I offered to do that from the beginning. My issue is being told repeatedly that I wouldn't be charged, then being charged without an explanation or apology. My nails had been done less than 9 days earlier, and she changed the color and reshaped them. Even if they wanted to charge me, they could have told me beforehand or acknowledged the miscommunication. Nobody did. I've run businesses for years, and transparency matters to me. If a client explains what they need to the receptionist, that information should reach the technician. This was the second time something I'd discussed on the phone didn't seem to be communicated. In my experience, the front desk came across as disengaged, and the communication was mediocre. I'm not naming anyone because I don't want to put anyone on blast. I hope the salon takes this as a lesson. The nails looked nice, the woman who does my pedicures is lovely, and the nail technician is quick and does good work. My biggest issue is the salon's internal communication, which shouldn't be the client's responsibility. Thank you for the services, but I won't be back.

I was in town and needed my nails done at the last minute, so I picked this salon because it had…read morealmost 5 stars and a ton of positive reviews. After my appointment, I went back and read the negative reviews, and honestly, those matched my experience much more closely. The first red flag was that I walked in to ask about pricing, then left to think about it, and one of the employees actually came out into the parking lot to convince me to come back. That immediately felt off. The second red flag was that I asked for almond-shaped acrylics, and the technician immediately started putting tips on without ever asking what length I wanted. He just assumed I wanted them short. By that point I was already committed, so I just went with it. As the service went on, I also noticed the salon wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were leftover decorations up and everything was just dirty and had stains on it, and debris around the work area, and it just didn't give me a great feeling. To be fair, the pedicure came out really nice. They opened what appeared to be a sealed pack of sanitized tools, which I appreciated, and I'm happy with how my toes turned out. The acrylic nails, though, were another story. The technician left noticeable gaps between the acrylic and my cuticles, as well as along the sides of my nails. They're also extremely thick. My boyfriend, who normally doesn't notice nails at all, actually asked if they were press-ons because they looked so bulky and fake. It's only been about a week, and because of the large gap near the cuticle, they already look like they've grown out for several weeks. I know sometimes a last-minute appointment is all you can get, and that's why I stayed. But if I could do it over again, I would have gone somewhere else. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

I needed a new nail place near the area I now live in instead of driving 25 mins to the one I used to go to, so I found this place on yelp & decided to try it out. I really enjoyed Angel nails because it was clean, the staff was friendly, and there was no wait! I came in on a Wednesday around 1:00 pm with no appointment and was seen immediately. It was very relaxing and a great ambiance. They have plenty of gel colors to choose from and have the chrome nail style that I was looking for. The prices were good, and I even got a $5 discount for some reason. They also use a stamp card system where after so many visits you get a free pedicure! I'm here on vacation & my friend and I wanted to get our nails done so we looked up places to get them done and Angel Nails & Spa was the first one to pop up so we went in and the salon is absolutely beautiful!! So clean and all of the workers there are so friendly!! The pedicure is amazing as well as the prices!! I actually came back the next day or so and they remembered us!! I've visited this salon a few times, hoping the quality of service would improve, but unfortunately my experience has been consistently disappointing. I asked for short acrylic nails, but the technician didn't clean or prep my natural nails and seemed to rush through the process. I had really hoped to leave with nicely done nails this time, but that wasn't the case. I was also asked directly if I was going to leave a tip, which made me uncomfortable -- I believe tipping should be left entirely up to the customer. I had a really great experience at Angel Nails this past week. I hadn't gotten my nails done since the beginning of COVID, but when i walked in the salon was very clean and chairs were sanitized beforehand, and working spaces are separated so i felt very safe and was appreciative of the salon taking extra safety measures ( temperature was also taken at the door). I've been coming to angel nail and spa for about 6 years. I'm always so happy with the results. This is my nails 2 months after getting a dip mani with Michelle. No lifting, no broken nails and the dip has helped them grow so long and strong. Definitely recommend! Also Yen is amaaaazzinnggggg with pedis. I've wanted a cute, pink spring Miffy themed nails for my Japan trip and she delivered! She hand-drawn and hand-made the little 3d pieces for my nails. This set was still my favorite. Second set was done in April by Helen (who is a friend of Kimmy). She also did a 3d Miffy charm for my nails along with butter yellow French tips. Another beautiful set! I also got a pedi done by Kathy, a very sweet older Vietnamese lady. Third set was done earlier this June by Nancy. I also got a pedi by Kathy. The pedicure lady kept on wanting to up-sale me on everything, all I wanted was a normal pedicure which she couldn't even do that right, hurt my toe but were very attentive when it came to tipping time. I've been their loyal customer for over 15 yrs! Yes! You read right lol.. it's a small family owned business and let me tell you Quincy and Billy are the nicest ppl as well as their staff. Vanessa does a great job, my daughter always gets her nails done with her and for me its Sophia, she can basically do any design I take her. And I honestly always take two to three photos with designs for her to do :)) When I leave the place I always leave with a smile on my face and feeling sexy. From the moment I walked in, the gentleman at the front was incredibly nice and welcoming. The salon itself is very clean, relaxing, and has tons of colors to choose from. This was my first pedicure since having my baby, so my feet definitely needed some love. My technician was so thorough and gentle, and it was probably one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. I also had an ingrown toenail that had been bothering me, and she was able to take care of it so gently without making the experience painful or uncomfortable. Overall, such a relaxing experience and I left really happy with how everything turned out. I'll definitely be coming back and think I may have found my new go-to nail salon!

We called ahead and were promptly seated when we arrived. The staff were all super friendly, and paid an incredible amount of attention to detail on our pedicures. The price for everything we received was very very reasonable, and I appreciated that they took card and allowed us to add tip via card as well. My wife and I both left feeling very relaxed and our feet feeling brand new, and can't wait to make a trip back soon. The spa is super elegant and everything you'd want and expect from this beautiful area of the Orange Circle. They are located on Chapman by Filo, one of our favorite little dessert spots.
