Police report Jatin Jadhwani admitting he saw a 'slipped disk' on xray -- timeline- Leia was still walking before and after the xray.

**** update- police report attached for animal cruelty*** X-rays of Leia did not show slipped disk or herniated disk bc she did not have one. Jatin Jadhwani told the police- he saw 'slipped disk' on imaging- xray and ultrasound. She walked in... and did not walk out, and not again until after her spinal surgery. How could he have seen this?? Any one else in the medical field should be able to see this as incorrect-- he knew of her injury and did not disclose it to me- rather covered it up. This is the loose string. Please contact me if you would like to know more- or have information. MORE BELOW. My dog Leia went to 1st Pet Vet for evaluation of abdominal distention/ acute weight gain and was seen by Dr. Jatin Jadhwani in the ER. During that visit, something happened that left her injured. She walked in normally but left unable to use her back legs. Leia required emergency spinal surgery for a herniated disk. Went back 1 day later thinking pain/sedation meds wore off and she still could not walk. Dr NAGY now saw her and got 'updated' by Jatin Jadhwani- she did not do vitals on Leia- did not touch (palpate), do a neuro exam or any exam for that matter- but the charged me and she fraudulently entered a full exam on Leia's medical records. I have filed a complaint on her and Jatin Jadhwani to the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board. Instead of transparency or compassion, I felt the situation was minimized and brushed aside. It was clear that the focus was on protecting their staff rather than acknowledging what happened and supporting a loyal client in crisis. After learning more, I discovered that Dr. Jadhwani has a history of medical incompetence documented by the Arizona Veterinary Medical Examining Board, which includes another tragic incident at the same facility in 2023. These records are publicly available: https://archive.org/details/vetvictims-azboard-complaint-22-39/page/3/mode/1up https://www.vetvictims.org/tailsofwoe/22-39.html https://vetboard.az.gov/sites/default/files/documents/files/4.19.22%20Minutes_s.pdf This experience completely shattered my trust in 1st Pet Vet. It's heartbreaking to know that accountability and patient safety don't come first. If you love your pets, please choose a veterinary practice that prioritizes honesty, empathy, and patient safety. Leia deserved far better than what she received here. DO YOUR RESEARCH

Our kitten Kipperlilly suddenly had a bloated belly. We called to make an appt & were told to bring her into the er immediately. Long story short she had a stomach abscess & needed emergency surgery. She spent 5 days in the hospital. Everyday we got phone calls updates. The bill was high but the care was worth it. They do have several options for payment help if needed. We have a spicey little kitten thanks to 1st Vet!!

    Our awesome dog. Goodbye

Had the unfortunate experience of putting down another dog and long time family friend because to us they are an always will be family. The staff and doctors at this location acted with such compassion and empathy for something that is such a hard thing to do. They allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. They treated her like family from the moment we entered the facility. And we will forever grateful for their help.

What a wonderful experience we had at 1st Pet Veterinary Services at 1233 W. Warner Road, in Chandler. Dr. Julie Moentk and her team turned our emergency into a challenge we could handle, by calmly and effectively assessing and treating our two cocker spaniels, and us, too! We were cared for kindly and promptly in their clean and comfortable facilities and even received medication onsite. We highly recommend them! There are emergency and regular veterinary care side by side at this address.

**experience during covid-19 ** This place is open 24/7 and will take care of your pets. Here's how things work during covid. Due to precautions they are currently not allowing people in so when you arrive you find a numbered parking and call the number on that sign. You will then proceed to tell them the reason for the visit and the parking space # you are in. They will come to your vehicle to take your pet, collect payments, and bring your pet back out once they are ready to go home. They were great at keeping us in the loop regarding the whole process even though we never went inside the building. All the staff we interacted with was fantastic even though we even had two shifts. I felt comfortable with how they took care of my pup. Wish they could be slightly more affordable but my dog's life has no price.

What an A+ urgent vet care experience…read more I found the spot through reading reviews here on Yelp. Unfortunately, my late, sweet angel of a Bichon Frise has recently passed, however it was extremely helpful to have brought her here to this facility to understand more in depth the severity of her medical issue. Not only is the staff here so friendly and empathetic, they are also punctual, efficient and very honest. My dog sitter ended up taking my dog here one night while we were out of town to deal with her chronic vomiting. The vet caring for her that evening spoke with me directly over the phone to go over treatment options. I thoroughly appreciated her honesty. I ended up having to take my dog back here one night a few weeks later due to the vomiting starting up again and her primary vet also suggested what she's going through needs to be handled at an actual animal hospital. This second visit was just as efficient and also they were kind enough to waive certain fees due to us returning back to them in such a short amount of time. I also like the fact that we're able to use payment plan options via Affirm. That was extremely helpful for me during this previous emotionally tumultuous season. Overall, great urgent animal care location. I highly recommend them.

He'd had a full check up within weeks and actually was at VEG about a month before for an unrelated GI issue. We had unfortunately been to several other emergency vets before making it to VEG, as we were out and about when the crisis started. I also had my little pug with me as getting care for my Great Dane was a bigger priority than taking her home. Once again the staff at VEG surrounded us with compassionate care. Nothing could have changed the outcome of the day but I am so grateful that at every moment the VEG staff was working to save my dog and caring so much for all of our comfort. They immediately got several large beds and a blanket for him to lie down and offered me a cushion. They handled him with love and checked on us in so many ways. And they tried. At one point we had something like 6 people working to stabilize him and everyone was focused and on task. I felt they worked on him not like a job but as if he was their own. I know its hard to work on a holiday and I know his death was emotional for everyone. But thank you all because at least I was with him to the very end and he knew he was being cared for. Being able to be with your dog throughout care is such a meaningful difference in the veterinary industry and in both owners and pets experience with vet care, and I feel like VEG always has such caring people. Thank you, though honestly have to say I'm hoping to see you all less in 2026.

Almost a quarter of them are the same thing. Sirena's life was taken because they failed to run appropriate tests including xray to determine and diagnose. They lead to her getting worse not better and then administered incorrect dosage for sedation and pain management leading to death. They failed to properly supervise her under anesthesia. They failed to inform me of any risks, alternatives, or the prognosis of the treatment. They lied on the report several times falsifying what happened so they could be unaccountable. This place did not care about the consequences of taking a life nor what it does to a family after the fact. Sirena was a victim and this will happen again unless you don't give them the chance. My Sirena was with me everyday for 4 years and trusted me to take care of her and I let her down going to this place. She deserved better! It breaks my heart reliving being at Gilbert Queen Creek emergency veterinarian and specialist center. I know Sirena would be alive today if I had gone elsewhere. Crystal the hospital director called 5/1/26 offering 300$ "on the books" saying they could have done better. I will never go back to Gilbert queen creek emergency veterinarian. I was shocked she would even insinuate that I would. The grief of losing Sirena and having conversations with these people mentally and physically takes a toll on me. If Sirena was given critical care, the right care from the right specialist, she would be alive today.

I was so scared, but the nurses answered any questions I had and assured me he was in good hands. Leaving him there over might was really hard, but the night staff seemed to already have fallen in love with him so I knew he'd be cared for. I got multiple calls and texts over the next 24 hours with updates on hus surgery and recovery. He was even doing well enough after to be able to go home a couple hours early, and they even gave him some extra medication to help keep him calm since he's a very skiddish kitty and that night was New Years Eve and I was concerned about him hurting himself. A few days later, he was acting off and took him back to that clinic and he was out on some pain meds for some spinal tenderness. Neither the emergency clinic or I noticed (even after examining him pretty thoroughly) that he had a puncture wound on the side of his jaw. Long story short, went back to that clinic today because I found him soaked in a weird bloody liquid oozing from his face and it was going to be a 4 hour wait. Figured I'd call VEG and see what their wait was and they told me to come right in and they would take care of him. Before I even got to the door, there was a VEG employee standing there to take us immediately back. I didn't even have time to look at the lobby... just straight back and immediately being looked at. Not going to lie, I didn't research VEG much since I was in immediate action mode... walking into the open concept emergency room was a little shocking. However, the care that the staff and doctors took was... beyond what I could have imagined. For what would be an agonizing amount of time where any other clinic would have taken him to the back, I was able to stay with him the entire time... even when they were working on him and cleaning up the wound I was holding him. While I don't want to say I loved the experience... I will say I loved the care and attention that every VEG employee showed. It was honestly worth every penny to bring him to VEG to be treated today. I felt like they really had his best interest at heart. I would highly recommend VEG to anyone who is in need of emergency care. The open concept can take a moment to get used to, but I think you'll find it to be far more comforting than if you were just left waiting somewhere while your pet was taken away from you. I called VEG from another local emergency vet service (a national urgent care vet service located in Oro Valley) that was simply geographically closer but I'd been waiting at for 45 minutes without being seen. VEG said ok we'll see her on entry, and when you get here, let them know you already have a chart on file. As soon as I brought my dog through the door, they greeted her with a team of physicians and support staff. They were RIGHT on the situation IMMEDIATELY! With empathy, knowledge, and skill. No joke - start to finish, probably 15 minutes total from my entry to the diagnosis, treatment, and release. I was thinking this will take easily 2-3 hours here, but not at all. Yep, I got an initial diagnosis within one minute saying 99% sure it's not bloat this time but would recommend an x-ray to be certain; and more diagnostics if you want after that. Not that it's about the amount of time it takes, but that aspect wildly exceeded my expectations! But the QUALITY of care, the treatment of both my dog and me by the staff, my comfort level with the facility, they were all absolutely outstanding! So then they did the x-rays, officially ruled out bloat, and I even got a bonus look at the heart and lungs as well from that x-ray and found no issues and that's great for a 12.5 year old dog! That was a BONUS diagnosis when the sole goal of the visit was to simply rule out bloat. All done with skill and empathy! I used VEG for the bloat surgery for this same dog and I've used them in between then and now for other dogs as well. So I can say the level of service is consistently excellent. That surgery changed our dog's life and ours. She's lived her best life in the year and a half since then and it's had a positive impact on our entire pet household. Let's just say VEG was QUITE the opposite experience from the other emergency vet. I've never felt so valued and appreciated as a client. VEG stands on its own for superior customer experience but when you contrast it with the experience I had just a few minutes earlier, it stands head and shoulders above any other emergency vet.

They are amazing. I have been there twice in less than a year. Last year, during Memorial Day…read moreweekend, my mom's dog, Cody, had been having seizures and finally could not walk, so it was time for the Rainbow Bridge. During an incredibly difficult time, they were so helpful and comforting. We were able to move right to a room to share our last moments with Cody. This week, my dog had eaten something and could not keep anything down. I hoped it would pass, but she could not settle down when it was time for bed. In the middle of the night, I drove across town. They saw and triaged my pup as soon as I went in. It took a while, but all of the staff were loving on my pup and explained everything they were going to do. Thankfully, the X-rays did not show any blockage (she had surgery the previous year because of something she had eaten and could not pass). They gave her a shot to calm her nausea. She relaxed immediately and slept through the night, or what was left of it. The next day, she was back to her normal self.
