We ordered a number of ceiling fixtures from 1StopLighting for our new house. The Kicher LED puck lights were phenomenal but we had issues with the mounting plate as well as quality of the light output from the Progress Lighting Items. Seemed to be a manufacturing issue which is always kind of a pain of finger point and redirection from my experiences with other sellers in the past, but these folks at 1stop (Jazel specifically!) leaned in to go above and beyond for a resolution for us. We're set to go with new items en route and I can't thank Jazel enough for the great support and for putting us as their customer first! read more

I ordered these lights in the beginning of July, because the website stated the product was in stock. I did not receive an immediate response saying the lights were back ordered, I didn't get that until a week or so later. That email stated it would be another 3 weeks, August 3, before the lights would be back in stock. I followed up on August 4 to confirm the lights were on the way to only be told today that they will not be in stock until August 20. I cancelled an order with a competitor, even though these were more expensive, because the site said the lights were in stock and even the August 3 back order date was manageable. Now I regret that cancellation.  I understand that during COVID things happen and businesses are doing their best. My frustration stems from the fact that they said they had them in stock to only have that delivery date pushed back twice. read more

So frustrated! Worst customer service ever! I placed a large lighting order over $3,500 on 6/12/20. I canceled one line item of 4 fixtures on 6/13/20 & was notified that it couldn't be canceled. They shipped the 4, undesired, lights on 6/15/20. I have requested a return authorization via their website--no response has been received. I have called twice & left detailed messages about requesting a return authorization--no return calls have been received. I have emailed customer service asking about the return authorization--no return email. I'm stunned! When you're an e-commerce business there's no reason not to be responsive to you these simple inquiries. read more

I want to give 1stoplighting and especially Aura who took care of my problem. I had ordered three lights and soon after they arrived I was sent out of the area as I am in the military (unexpected) and not even thinking of it I only opened one box to ensure they were the right ones I ordered Well fast forward three months later I finally got able to install the lights because with COVID and everything at work, it took so long to continue this remodeling project and when I get to the last light to install, murphys law of course has that one box was broke on shipping but I never looked at it, I know it was broken because they were sitting on a shelf untouched at home. SO, I explained this situation and pleaded that they make an exception to their 30 day policy and understand the hardships of me not being in control of my time with the military and they granted an exception to their policy and I just recieved the new light fixture (just the glass) and at no cost to me. It was expensive so I appreciate they did that. I gave 4 stars because they get better customer service and give more than 30 days to replace items. I would recommend them for your lighting needs and was afraid they were going to be one of those ripoff online stores that take your money and never return your calls or have policies that benefit them and not their customers. Either way I am glad I made the purchase and they were nice enough to grant this one exception. Its crazy COVID times not just for them but for us too and we came into a understanding and I will probably buy from them again and check everything the same day they arrive next time. read more

I'd give them zero if I could - mistakenly placed order early on Monday morning and cancelled before 6:30 AM that same morning and was told ....so sorry we were closed and nobody touched your order or shipped it yet, but please wait 48 hours to see if maybe we can cancel it. Top that off, they have a secret no-return policy that you only notice after paying. Stick with the name brand shops or Amazon and leave these guys alone. read more

Service has gone downhill. Hold times to speak to someone are very, very long. I buy a light they say is "in stock" only to find out days later, it is not in stock but backordered for months. The initial payment was attempted with paypal but not accepted and I am told there is a problem with my paypal. So I use another CC. I check paypal and there is indeed a charge to paypal as well as with the other CC. Now I am double billed! Come on guys.... read more

Worst online shopping experience I've had in recent memory... I ordered some matching fixtures, one of which was on clearance. 1StopLighting.com decided that there was a 'problem with my payment' which they didn't proactively notify of, but I noticed the same day when checking my order status. I followed up with my credit card company that day, and they confirmed there was no problem on their end. I then sent an email to sales at 1StopLighting.com indicating as much and asking them to cancel the whole order of matching fixtures if the item on clearance could not be sent due to the delay they introduced. I never received a response to this email, but the next day the order was marked as successful and in progress. A couple of days later, I received a cancellation notice for just the item on clearance. I called 1StopLighting.com to ask what had happened, and they said that the item on clearance was no longer available, so it was canceled. However, the other items had not been canceled per my request and had instead been shipped. Now almost a week later, I've been charged for all of the fixtures, including the one which was never shipped, and I have to jump through hoops to return the items which were shipped. At this point, it's looking like I may have to dispute the charges for the item on clearance and battle through their return process and likely dispute those charges as well. What a terrible experience. I purchased a chandelier 4 days ago (or at least thought I did!). The website was "having issues" and I was forced to use the chat to get help completing my order. I never received a proper receipt (i.e, with the correct charge-the automated email only showed the retail price and not the price I actually paid--was told that receipt would arrive shortly). My cc was charged immediately though (of course). Fast forward 4 days and I attempted to track my order status. Again the website doesn't function. Called customer service to find out that my order has been cancelled bc the wrong price was advertised (note that the "wrong price" is still listed on the site). ZERO communication letting me know my order status/issue. Also, my credit card has still NOT been credited. Was told it would take several days for them to fix their site, but that I should screenshot the page and try to purchase again next week and they would honor the price (including my new customer discount code). Then WTH didn't you just honor my purchase in the first place? Was transferred to 3 people who "couldn't help" before this lame explanation was given. What a joke. Sucks that you have the wrong price listed but seems like a You problem. You should honor your advertised prices or get them fixed. So bottom line (I think), I am welcome to come back next week (zero specificity on when the fix will be made or even how anyone is to know whether the prices advertised are even corrected) and (using my screenshot evidence) reorder for the same price that I was originally charged and cancelled bc it was the wrong price? My husband and I bought a pull-down pendant lamp last year and packed it in a box to take to Belize, where we have now moved to. When we opened the box to install the lamp, we could not find one of the parts - the pull-down bar - which is intrinsic to the functionality of the lamp. I contacted 1StopLighting and MaryDel provided amazing customer service by contacting the lamp manufacturer and emailing me a link the very next day to an invoice and order she had made specially for the missing part, which she had miraculously been able to obtain. Worst company I ever have deal with. I purchased an order on their website on a weekend with PayPal and it pulled a wrong address. I then filed a ticket on the website to fix the address. On Monday, I called to confirm that the issue was fixed and they filed another ticket. I received a FedEx tracking with the wrong address still, talked to Livex lighting next, and they tried to help, but 1stop lighting was unwilling to help with return and cancellation. It's now Thursday, the package will deliver to the address on Saturday. I called 1 Stop lighting again and after a 40 minutes call trying to get them to recall the order with FedEx, they filed another ticket when I pressed to talk to a supervisor and said they would be in touch in 24-48 hours. I said by then the light would be delivered by then. He said then it probably won't take that long, it what I have to say. I tried one last time by calling FedEx and they said someone just called to have the order sent back. It should not be this difficult and time consuming to fix this minor issue. read more

This company has cost me so much money. I finally now just getting the replacement part shipped out to me. I was originally sent out the wrong part over a month ago. I had to pay extra fees for contractors to come back and source the parts some places else. They lie about inventory and what's in stock. They lie about shipping dates. They don't even send you the right parts and then they take over a month to get you the correct parts. This reply from the owner saying she will fix it. The customer support I received from 1stop lighting was so amazingly responsive that I wouldn't want to do business with anyone else.

Recently ordered 3 fixtures. The homepage states to sign up and receive an additional 25% off order. I screenshot the item itself on the website where it states in the top corner "25% Coupon", along with the header that my member code had been unlocked for the additional 25% discount. I entered code at checkout and no message of being invalid appeared. It asked for payment type and after completed, immediately showed the order completed without reflecting the discount. I immediately called and left a message with customer service as the order was placed on a Saturday. After 12pm PST Monday with no return call, I called customer service. My first attempt ended with me hanging up as I had been on hold 5 minutes will the agent "looked" at my account and never returned. My second attempt I was told I was speaking to the customer service supervisor and was told that there was no manager available to speak when I asked. In addition i was told I would receive the same answer regardless. I was told due to the discounted (sale) price, the 25% discount could not be applied. That as it is the company was only making about $10 in the item. This item was on sale, not clearance. There was nothing that stated the code could not be applied to sale items on the homepage or throughout the signup process. And the item itself not only showed the savings with the sale price, but showed the 25% discount box on the item and the message stating that my member offer was unlocked. When making the decision to purchase, in addition to style, I factored the bottom line price both with discount and special promo code. The additional savings would factor out to $273 so not a small consideration when factoring in to decision. Their addition promotions are extremely misleading! The lack of customer service in a return call frustrating. To sit on hold and never returned to irritating. And to not be allowed the opportunity to speak to a manager upsetting. This is the first time I have ordered from this company and with many other fixtures needed in our remodel, hoped to continue as a customer. Based on the misleading promos and lack of customer service, this will not be happening. As a retail store manager for over 10 years, I don't take lightly writing a negative review. read more

I ordered on line. When i went to buy 10 bulbs it wouldn't take my credit card so i tried another on and it worked. The problem is that when i entered the 2nd credit card it wipe out the quantity and i didn't realize it. The ordering form assumes 1 if you don't change it you don't get more. So i got shipped only 1 at $2.42 but paid $17.00+ for shipping. Now why would anybody buy a bulb for $2.42 with shipping costing $17.00+ So my problem is i still wanted the other 9 and instead so i complained I asked to get the other 9 and i would $2.42 ea plus 5.00 for shipping no one responded. The bulbs weigh maybe 2 ounces ea. it seams you are making more money on shipping, than the product. Any response other than you shipping them for what i said. I will contact the BBB. I ordered a downrod for a Fanimation fan. 1Stoplighting did not actually carry the downrod (had to eventually order it from Fanimation directly), but you just couldn't tell this from the website, so I ordered the wrong one and needed to return it. They have a website called FanimationLighting.com that fooled me. Like others have written, their customer support is absolutely worthless. They do not answer the phone ever, and never call back when you leave a message. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is a chat rep named Darius who helped me get answers, even though he's a salesman rather than a customer service rep. BEWARE! I ordered and paid for 3 ceiling fans (over $1,700) from 1stoplighting.com and after two weeks, had not received any shipping information or updates. I called several times to find out the status of my order and was told it was a manufacturer issue. At one point I received an email that said I had cancelled my order, which I hadn't at that point. After 2 more weeks of no updates and still no fans, I cancelled my order. Just called 3 days after cancelling and no refund. I was told my cancellation was denied - WTF? My credit card was charged a month ago, no product and no refund? I was upset. The customer service person hung up on me and blocked my call back. I guess I'll have to fight this with my credit card company. Very unprofessional, dishonest and shady reseller. Would avoid them at all costs. read more

Avoid at all costs! I have been waiting for several exterior light fixtures for over nine months now and still have not received them. Every time I call 1StopLighting they provide a different excuse. Several times they actually told me that they were already on the truck being shipped to me and they provided me with a false FexEx tracking number that is for someone else's shipment and even has a different name and shipping address! One time they told me the lights were in one of those shipping containers off the shore of California. Another time they told me they were in the warehouse or in quality control. The lights seem to be everywhere except my front porch. My next complaint will be the the Attorney General and with the BBB because this has gotten ridiculous! They have had my money for over nine months now and I still have not received the light fixtures. read more

Was a little leary spending almost a grand on a chandelier to a company I have never heard of on the interwebs, but being the manufacturer recommended them I took a chance. It had the 2 day shipping guarantee or $25 back and that is the only reason for not giving 5 stars. I ordered on a Monday and according to the guarantee, would arrive Wednesday. I got the shipping confirmation on Tuesday and said it would arrive the next week. It shipped from NJ and seemed to take forever to move with Fedex. I swear they walked it from post to post. The box arrived a day later than originally said by Fedex and the box was trashed, but thankfully was packaged very well and no damage. I contacted 1stop regarding the $25 and that day responded that they credited my card and it was back in the bank in a couple days. Overall satisfied and would buy from again. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I would stay clear of this company. I have had nothing but problems trying to resolve an issue for the last 30-days. I needed 1 light. Accidentally ordered 2. Called immediately/also submitted work ticket online to cancel 1 of them. Their customer service reps on the phone could care less, constantly interrupt and do not listen to the situation that needs to be resolved. This happened with every call I made to them. I finally reached 1 woman who said she spoke with her supervisor and would process a partial refund as she saw only 1 item was shipped out (they cancelled the 2nd). I received the 1 item, still charged for 2. Never received the 2nd nor a refund on that item. Finally had to take it to American Exp disputes and 1 Stop is still saying I received 2 lights and denying the dispute. I have the final shipping invoice with tracking # that shows only 1 light was sent. On top of this, I was overcharged on the sales tax % in my zip code. Watch out for this company they are NOT on the up and up. I will continue to dispute this with American Express until it is resolved. I would appreciate hearing from 1 Stop management. read more

Ordered new Maxim yard light on 7/15 at a good price compared to other sellers after our 20 year old light was broken by a falling tree limb during a recent wind storm. Order confirmed and shipped on 7/17. Positive experience. Product arrived on 7/21 but discovered the glass globe was broken. Contacted customer service that same day and was told a replacement would be shipped within 2-3 days. Received no further updates and contacted customer service on 7/26. Finally received word on 7/28 of a manufacturer delay and replacement would ship on 8/3. Contacted customer service again on 8/4 after not receiving a shipping confirmation on the promised date of 8/3. (had to submit an on-line claim again because their customer service phone lines were off-line due to "training") Finally received shipping details the evening of 8/4 and the replacement globe arrived on 8/9. I would have expected to receive updates without having to be the one to initiate contact. Regarding the actual Maxim product, it looks nice but is obviously of lesser quality. Our original Maxim light purchased and installed in 2003 was cast aluminum. The current product of same style is made of composite material. I am guessing it won't hold up quite as well but at least it was easier to install. read more

I had a fantastic experience with one stop lighting. I needed some new fixtures for my rental units, and came across their website. Since I have an older building, I needed specific features and contacted them on the phone. The customer service was fantastic and they helped me pick a fixture that worked for my units. They arrived within a couple of days, and were easy to install. Most online stores I purchase from have no phone support and only slow email support. I was shocked I was able to get such great help for the product, and will definitely use them again for future purchases for my properties. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Would give negative stars if I could. Ordered a Hinkley light on 3/30 and it's been sitting at fed ex with unreadable barcode. I call 1 stop lighting and they say they can't do anything until a week passes. Really?? You are not going to offer to call fed ex? You are going to make me wait, call back and sit on hold, again? A week later I call and they say, they will ship a replacement. I call back a THIRD time as it's 48 hours later and replacement has not been shipped, and I am told they put in a request to the warehouse and are waiting for the replacement. Are you freaking kidding me? Then I get an email that says they put in a request to cancel the order, but it may get shipped anyway, even after I requested it to be cancelled. So now I have no product and I still not credited for the $434.00 I spent and it's NINE days later. Is this company a scam? Who the heck is running this company?
