I just had Jerry out to repair my dishwasher and clean my dryer vent. He cleaned out the vent and then the hose going to the dishwasher. Only charged for the dryer cleaning. If there was a minus rating I would use it. I hired 2 Brothers appliance to repair my ice maker. They came 3 times and it still did not work. I was unsuccessful at reaching them at first. When I finally spoke with them I was shocked not only by their antagonist attitude, but use of profanity as he screamed at me after I told him I would be going to Seniors against Crime. I then had to hire Desantis Appliance. They repaired it and diagnosis was that icemaker was unplugged (which I had 2 Brothers replace). Also, Desantis found that left side optics was not correctly plugged in (which, again 2 Brothers replaced).I had paid 2 Brothers a total of $326.35 to have it not work. It then cost me another $89 to have it fixed by Desantis. I plan to go to the County and pursue reimbursement once the County opens up. Definitely stay away from  2 Brothers appliance. In fact after multiple requests I have not received all of the receipts. read more

BEWARE!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. In my opinion, these people should not be in business. I hired them to fix my ice makers and dryer, and my first mistake was paying them for a part up front. I paid them over $800 for work to be done on two ice makers and they were also supposed to fix my dryer. After repeatedly failing to show up and failing to fix what they were supposed to I told them that I did not want them to continue and to just forget about fixing the dryer. I paid them for their shoddy work on the two ice makers. However, I have been trying FOR FIVE MONTHS to get back my $405 for the part that they never installed on the dryer. It has been a wild goose chase and they have been rude, nasty, unprofessional, and have lied. I have the texts to prove it. James, the head tech, texted me "You will have the check by June 6 it will have been postmarked." Over a month later, on JULY 9TH, when I still hadn't received the check, James wrote, "there was a 15% restocking fee . . . Jenna left a check [for $335] at the office . . . you will have [it] this week for sure." When I still did not have any check or correspondence in July I inquired again, July 27, July 28, August 7, and August 8, when I finally received a response. James apologized and said the check "got stuck on a board and forgot." He assured me it would go out "ASAP." Over A MONTH LATER, on September 15, 2016 I inquired again because I had still not received the $405 that I had given them in advance to use to pay for a part that they never even came back to install. James said he doesn't control the checks, the owner, Jenna Brown, ARNP, does and "SHE IS NOT GOING TO WASTE TIME TALKING TO YOU YOUR [sic] NOT A CUSTOMER." He then told me that I could speak with her attorney! I asked for Mrs.Brown's phone number and the technician stated, "You can stop texting me please and you do whatever. No one is doing anything for you. That ship has sailed." Just WOW. read more

My washer was not draining and completing all the cycles. The technician came the same day and fixed the problem. I thought the charge was fair and the man who did the work was very pleasant and had the job done quickly. It required replacing parts and I was given a years warranty on parts and labor.. I just made an appointment for another appliance to be fixed. I give them a 5 star rating. They also fixed my refrigerator a while back and that repair was also done well. read more

Terrible experience with this company. I have a RV with a residential refrigerator that went out. Called this company and they came and said it was the board. Called me back and asked for the number off the refrig. He is suppose to be the mechanic. Finally came back after numerous calls and installed the board. It still did not work. This went on for approximately two weeks and never returned to fix my problem. The worse company I have ever dealt with i my many years. read more

2 Brothers Appliance has long been the company that we call for appliance repair when an inspector notes an issue with one of our listings. They provide competent service at a reasonable price. This past month we had two occasions to call them to our own home. One was for relatively minor repairs to our stove and washing machine. Then this week our refrigerator had a power surge run through it during an electrical storm. We gave them a call immediately (before the storm was even over), and they sent out a repair person. The damage was too extensive to repair. Within two hours we had a loaner refrigerator delivered to our house while we make a decision on our replacement refrigerator. We didn't even lose a stick of butter! Okay, we didn't even lose the ice from the bucket! 2 Brothers provides service like "the good old days." Those of us living in The Villages, Summerfield, and the surrounding towns are VERY lucky. Thanks 2 Brothers! read more

2 Brothers appliance repair sold us a range with a warranty . 6 mo into a 1 yr warranty . If failed and they refuse to honor there warranty. We are out $900 and have a range that don't work. a second repair co estimated $430 to repair the range. The police can't/won't do anything and the "Seniors against Crime" laughed and said they have a long list of complaints against The 2 Brothers. We were told we would win in small claims court because they won't show up. Then we are left with a piece of paper and no way to collect. Upon checking the BBB found a "F" rating and a long list of complaints. Other web/blog reviealed long list of complaints also. I have reported this information to the police in Marion county. Sorry that I have to give one star! I paid a $250 deposit for a refrigerator part on 6-22-17. I have placed numerous phone calls since that time to request service or a refund. Most times the call is transferred to another number and then goes to Voice Mail. If I don't receive the refund by next Wednesday, I will be contacting the credit card company and Seniors Against Crime for assistance. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

I had 2 Brothers appliance service my stove which was fluxuating bad, set for 350 & was heating to 425. They put in a new main board ($235) to correct the problem. It did nothing to fix.I called MANY times to have them come out to address the problem, I left messages,talked to them with NO response . I told them to come & & take the stove & give me money back,Still no response!!! I have since purchased a new stove & I am out my $235 and have a stove we can not bake in !! I have used this company in the past without any issues. However this time was quite different. On Thursday 08.24.2017 I called to schedule an appointment to have someone look at my clothes dryer the woman at this office told me someone would be at my home at 10 am on friday 08.25.2017. I stated that this would be acceptable. So Friday arrived and 10 am also arrived.But no repair technician [being fully aware that sometimes they could arrive late] Well 11am arrived then 12 noon and then 1 pm. . So i deceided to call their office where I was met by voice mail telling me that someone would call right back At 5:38 pm [ 7hours and 38 minutes ] past my appointed time I received a voice mail massage stating that he is running a LITTLE late and if I still wanted service to give him a call [REALLY!] I am sorry 7 hours and 38 minutes is NOT A LITTLE LATE it`s almost an entire work day. Very poor customes service [did he not have a phone to let me know earlier?????] Needless to say I have deleted this number from my phone and have no reason to call them again. I am not sure what happend maybe it is a new owner maybe if it is the same owmer he just doesn`t care about how he treats people.If this is how they treat an existing customer, how is he going to treat a new one? read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This guy, James, accepted a Choice Home Warranty claim two weeks ago for my dead refrigerator (on a Thursday). He said he would submit the diagnosis by Saturday so we could get a new refrigerator. After one full week, I started calling him, as did Choice Warranty. He finally submitted a very vague diagnosis in their system. They said there were no details at all and requested more information. He refused to answer phone calls or return voice messages. Today, a full two weeks later, Choice Warranty said they would have to send out a new work order to be reassigned because James refused to complete the necessary information. I called him to let him know that, and he said --- Great - I'm so tired of getting phone calls from you and Choice Warranty. I have 22,000 customers. When I told him I would be filing a complaint, he started texting me ugly messages. His final message was: "I love cry babies that don't get what they want." read more
