So I had a warning light on my car pop up indicating very low tire pressure in one tire. I pulled into 2 Brothers garage just after closing time. Now mind you I have never been to this garage before but Brian said he'd help me out if I didn't mind waiting a few minutes. He couldn't have been nicer. Seriously, after closing on a Friday night for a customer he'd never laid eyes on before and he helped me out. Also, he refused any payment or tip. Pretty awesome experience. read more

Brought my girlfriends Kia here having dealt with them a few years ago I thought they were still reputable. Guess not. She is experiencing electrical issues with her car and random lights go out all the time (brake lights, blinkers, head lights) and right from the get go once they realized it was a woman's car they changed their tone. Basically called me and her an idiot for thinking there was anything wrong. Told me they fixed the issue just by replacing a turn signal bulb. The issue was NOT fixed, and there was still a brake light out and the turn signal light (which they "replaced") was still out. They were EXTREMELY rude to her and to me. Our car window decided to randomly come off the track and the window was stuck half open in the middle of the rain and during Christmas week. No other shop was willing to help us and could not get us in for a week or more and with possible snow in the forecast we were worried we'd be stuck. At one last attempt, I called 2 Brothers Garage and the person I spoke with was nice enough to say they'd take a look at it if I came by immediately. They got us in right away and in/out in an hour with our window fixed!!! Thank you so much 2 Brothers Garage for helping us when no one else would and not leaving us stuck with an open window in the middle of winter! Thankfully it also didn't cost us an arm and a leg. I was stranded with an emergency repair, and thought I may need to rent a car for a couple of days. These guys came highly recommended by 3 different random people, and AAA service towed my car to the Islington St. location. They had me back up and driving away in my own vehicle within a couple of hours. The mechanic took the time to explain all of the repairs. Perhaps the worst service I've ever encountered. Please do not use Two Brothers Garage. Not only does the owner Bryan not do his job, he does not call people back, does not work with customers, and refuses to take accountability for his actions. Initially my truck went in for some front end suspension work. After it sat in his yard for 1.5 weeks without so much as a call. Bryan had the nerve to blame it on his employees. As a fellow business owner myself, I understand mistakes happen with employees. But when they do, taking responsibility as a business owner is essential. Bryan did not do this. He blamed it on his employees... Come to find out the work preformed was incorrect. Bryan and I talked, he said he would get it fixed ASAP. Unfortunately the parts needed are on back order. Which he found out two days before the truck was dropped off again. Then a week later contacts me, with the news of the back order... Bryan knew the parts would not be available, saw my truck had been dropped off, and did not call me for another week... Then decided to blame the back order as the problem instead of calling me to discuss alternative options ASAP... I know problems and issues happen. That is life. But not taking accountability should never be in a business owners mind. Honestly I'm very bummed this happened. They used to do great work but have very apparently fallen off. As a young woman who does not know much about cars, these guys were genuine and reliable to help fix my car after I had previously been ripped off and had my requests ignored by a previous mechanic. I had a coolant leak on my Jaguar XJR. I was in the parking lot across the road in the CVS (a long way from home) and I walked over and asked them if they would take a look. They were very helpful - checked it out right away and located the source of the leak -- finding it required a little time and some disassembly (it was below the supercharger). As they didn't have the capacity to fix it there and then, they gave me several gallon jugs of water and set me on my way. They didn't charge me a penny, and were the nicest bunch of people you could hope to meet. If they were in my neighborhood, they would become my go to place for all service work. I highly recommend these courteous and knowledgeable people. read more

I hate to say it, but as a woman I know that the whole "car mechanic takes advantage" is a real thing.....and I'm so glad that I found this establishment. They have a big sign up that talks about SERVICE...and that without it, you can't make a profit or have customers. And they walk it like they talk it. And bonus! Will never go back again ! My wife's 2007 Sonata was stuck in Portsmouth with the check engine lamp on. I was able to drive it to Two Brothers Garage , stalling several times along the way. We spoke with Brian who said it could be a wet distributer cap from heavy rains the night before and might need to dry out . The 2007 Sonata doesn't have a distributer cap. We left both our phone numbers and some how he deleted both of them. When I called at noon he said the Mass Air Flow Sensor was gone and he ordered one from the warehouse and said the sensor was $213.00 and a simple replacement and that I was looking at a little over $300.00 bill. When my wife picked up the car, the invoice was $360.00 with $26.67 added for supplies without any description of the supplies. After looking online for the same Aftermarket sensor , it showed up at a low price of $39.00 and a high price of $84.59 with most being around 50 bucks. I am also a tradesman and understand mark-ups but a 300-400 % mark up is unacceptable, and a 1 1/2 hour labor charge for that sensor replacement is also excessive. My mechanic in Danvers,MA said 'Bob if I charged you $250.00 for that job , I would have been ripping you off. I wanted to give these guys a chance, it seemed like they have a decent reputation and my wife has actually used them for tire repairs but I feel I was overcharged by at least $100.00 and unfortunately will not be returning there !! read more
