After enjoying their food from their truck for the past several months, I was delighted to hear they opened a brick-and-mortar establishment. These fellas have some of the best food in the midsouth! I get the voodoo nachos everytime; the Zapps chips really take nachos to the next level. The fried shrimp is also pretty good but I prefer the Cajun shrimp with corn. Tonight I decided to try the shrimp etoufee and Cajun fried turkey poboy tonight. The turkey sandwich was moist and flavorful and the etoufee was simply awesome. The king-cake bread pudding is one of my favorite desserts in the area as well. They also have TVs there to watch sports or whatever. If you have the opportunity to go, do so! I will also say I appreciate that there is pretty ample space between tables and the servers are all wearing masks. During these crazy COVID times, I do appreciate when a business takes precautions seriously and puts their best foot forward to protect their employees and patrons. This place is small but really good! The chargrilled oysters are fresh and ample size unlike the Half Shell in Memphis that we went to recently. Good size and great flavor! I had the Peacemaker PoBoy and fries. It was delicious and crispy although a little bit small for the $15 price tag. Overall it's worth it to get fresh seafood in North MS. The food was phenomenal. We had the voodoo fries, a roast beef PO-boy and a bowl of gumbo and a ghost River draft as cold as the flip side of the pillow. It's like a unicorn landed in Olive Branch. Support local business and keep these guys around. I need to sample the entire menu. The gumbo had just enough kick to be authentic without trying to be Spicy just to be Spicy. The potato salad was light and fluffy and the roast beef PO boy tasted like my moms Sunday leftover roast beef sandwiches. We will be back. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday about 230PM. When we walked in the dining area was pretty full but there were tables available. We wasn't sure if we were to wait to be seated or if we would go to the counter to place the order first. We did the latter and was told to just grab a table and someone would be with us shortly. The booth that we wanted to sit at hadn't been cleaned off but when we asked, they quickly cleaned it. When i first placed my order, i wanted the oysters and was told that they may be out. I said NO-WE LITERALLY DROVE FROM BARTLETT FOR THEM!! The waiter the said let me go double check. He came back and said that they had just come in and they had to be shucked so it may take a few extra minutes. I was def ok with waiting since these were the reason for our visit. We ordered quite a bit of food. From the appetizer menu we ordered the wings. For our entrees i ordered the dozen oysters with all the flavors and a bowl of gumbo. My son ordered the catfish basket that came w/fries & a cup of gumbo. My husband had the pick two combo with catfish and shrimp. It also came with fries. Instead of getting the wings as an appetizer, all the food came out at once. They oysters were delicious. The only thing i could ask if that they were hotter (as he heat hot - fresh). The gumbo too was pretty good but i felt like it could've been hotter. Everything was just warm not hot. The wings i felt were a bit undercooked. We didn't eat them and decided to bring them home to pop them in the air fryer. They have potential. My husband and son loved their fish and my son loved the gumbo. He ate his and mine. The service was great. What i believe to be the owners were husband and wife and they often came to the table to make sure we were good. Doesn't look like much if you're driving or walking by but when you walk in- you're in New Orleans! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff was super friendly, and the seating was fluffy friendly. Our baby didn't like the seasoned fries and they were happy to make her some fresh ones. The Shrimp po boy was a decent size and the grilled shrimp were delicious. The chicken tacos were the best tacos I've ever had- and I've had a lot of tacos. Very low key, chill place! read more

We went AYCE catfish night. My hubby had fish & I had the shrimp & grits. Shrimp & grits were too spicy for him so we had to switch meals. I definitely recommend this place. Customer service was immaculate. The food was fast and came out hot and fresh. I had the fried jalapeños and the fried chicken wings. Both were great. The seasoning was on point. My wife had the gumbo and she definitely liked it. There was excessive grease on the top of it but that was the only issue. Other than that I definitely suggest that you check this place out. Also...these are "real" chicken wings. The aren't one wing cut in half counted as 2. They are huge. We asked family to checkout 2CF's because we would be traveling there for the Thanksgiving holiday. My SIL and niece ordered fish tacos, gumbo and the catfish po-boy. With it being in a small, strip mall suite one might not expect much, but WOW! They were full up when we stopped by with only bar seats available so we took those. They use regular backed seats so as long as you are okay sitting side-by-side with your dining companion, the bar is plenty comfortable. The menu isn't huge, but contains a really nice variety of cajun/creole cuisine. My wife and I started out with some étouffée balls (four larger than golf ball sized nuggets of awesomeness served with remoulade). She had the Cajun Fried Turkey Po-boy with a side salad, and I had the Shrimp Étouffée, they were both so good we ended up switching halfway through so we could enjoy both! We also ordered an extra side of hush puppies. I forgot to count how many in an order, but there were more than enough for two and probably enough for three people and they also tasted great! I had a couple of outstanding IPAs (Dr. Juice & Ghost in the Machine) from Parish Brewing out of Broussard, LA (Lafayette) and from what I can tell, there is only one other establishment in the Memphis area that carries brews from them! As for the service, which is a make or break for both my wife and me, it was outstanding as well. The owners were running around working as hard serving customers as their employees (they had plenty of staff btw) and that is a good sign they are going to be around for some time. Friendly, just enough attention, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, really perfect. Keep it up folks! And for the rest of you...if you find yourself in the Southaven/Olive Branch area especially, give them a try. Heck, even if you are up in Collierville or Germantown it is worth the extra drive, especially if you are looking for something different! read more
