We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon, and there were only 2 people at the bar. The bartenders were friendly, and the food was really good, although way overpriced. We ordered pretzels and beer cheese to start, and bacon cheeseburgers. The burgers were large, juicy, and cooked perfectly. However, these burgers were $22 each, and our 2 other favorite burger places are $10 and $14 for just as good quality and the same small local bar atmosphere. I am sure the rest of the menu is delicious as well, but we are just not willing to pay more than double the price for anything unless we are somewhere in paradise looking at the ocean, and not sitting in an old dark bar in a shopping center. read more

Good food in a comfortable setting. Service was great. My friends and I split a couple orders of wings so as to try a variety of sauces. Big meaty wings, pleasantly fried, awesome sauces. Soft pretzels with cheese sauce met with enthusiastic approval. The unexpected favorite for me: chocolate chili, which despite its name is non overly sweet or desserty. The wings and burgers are delicious, but do yourself a favor and take it to go. The restaurant is dark and dingy. I ordered a half sandwich and a half salad. The salad was decent, but the sandwich was greasy and seemed carelessly thrown together. The worst part, however, occurred when I politely asked a question about the bill. Our waitress was sweet and kind and addressed my question appropriately. However, another waitress, who I assume was her boss, heard our conversation and invited herself to add her two cents. She was rude and came across as combative rather than conciliatory. She didn't care to listen to why I was confused, she only wanted to point out why I was wrong. She also walked away several times in the midst of my trying to explain my confusion. All in all, the whole interaction left me with very little taste for ever returning to this restaurant. read more

The food is 5 star - the menu is pub food but it's really good. Best burgers I've had in years and I can get 1/2 burger and 1/2 salad! I order medium and darn if my burger was squarely medium and juicy. Service has been hit or miss, I'd rate that a 2 or 3 as it's been mostly a miss over the last few months. Bar orders take quite some time to fulfill and we try to order food & drink when the server stops by because @ 2FG they tend to get busy and forget you. We go on Tuesdays for the Sightline Events trivia with Ashley and last evening it was uncomfortably warm in the restaurant, I'd guess 78-80 inside. The ceiling fans were on but going quite slow so it didn't seem to help. The service however was better last evening so I have hope. The lighting as noted in other reviews is dim, the inside could use a makeover w/ better lighting, heating/cooling and larger TVs to see the trivia questions. And 2 Fat Guys have not held back on their ability to give the QUALITY for their juicy delicious burgers and they're incredibly yummy wings with their special sauce. My go to burger is an American cheeseburger with the BEST CHEESE & the fixings and it's cooked right to my specifications. And the food was ready and no time and packaged extremely well. Everything was amazing! I had the "State Fair Burger". 1/2 pound burger, cooked perfectly (medium, thank you very much) and topped with pulled pork bbq, cheddar, bacon & onion rings. It was insanely delicious! I find myself daydreaming about this burger - it was really that good. Everyone else in my party had burgers as well and were beyond pleased with their food. Our server was friendly and did a great job. They have a pretty good craft beer selection which I definitely appreciate. This place is about a 2 hour round trip from my house. My daughter picked this spot out to grab lunch on our way to our Airbnb. We pulled into a non-descript strip mall and I admit I was leery. Upon entering, we saw that there was only one table occupied. Again, I was sensing cautionary flags, but thought "hey, it's 2pm on a Friday, it's past lunch time, that's why there's no one here." Her name was Stephanie and she gave us menus, as well as the specials and drinks menus. My daughter went with a turkey club and I opted for the Fair State Burger that comes topped with cheddar cheese, pulled pork, bbq sauce, bacon and onion rings. Both orders came with natural cut fries. We asked for a couple sides of ranch and were informed it would be an extra 50 cents for the dressing. Let me tell you something... when Stephanie came around that partial wall with our heaping plates of food, I was shocked. Both my daughter's club sandwich and my burger were absolutely huge! The food looked amazing and I was pleasantly surprised that it was DELICIOUS! Even the ranch we paid extra for was amazing! Love this place. We go a couple of times a month, and always enjoy our time and our meal there. Wings are great! Whenever folks ask "best wings?", I refer them to Jeff and his crew. With the wings.....The sauces, they have really good selection.........they all have a bbq sauce base to them, so it's not the same old wings you get everywhere else. The chicken salad is a great choice! I have friends who order that option regularly too. PB&J burger, top notch. As a dad, one great feature, is it's a smaller space, so it's not loud, rough and rowdy like other large "big box restaurants" are. Support local during these challenging times. My boyfriend and I went to 2FG last week for dinner. We had wings, a burger and a sandwich. The wings were pretty good. I'm from western NY and will say these are the best wings I've had locally... they've still got nothing on wings from NY but for Delaware they're really good. The burger was also delicious. Reuben sandwich was just ok, the meat was a little tough, but the fries were good. I really enjoyed the beer selection as well. Also, our server was awesome - super friendly, personable and attentive. My only real complaint was that the smell of stale fryer grease permeated the entire restaurant which made it a bit difficult to enjoy our food. We realized when we got home our clothes and hair also smelled very strongly of it. Overall definitely enjoyed and recommend this place though! read more

I've been on a ribs kick. I got the craving for that good, smoky, melt in your mouth stuff and I've been ordering them from everywhere for weeks. This is the place that finally ended my craving. VERY disappointed in these 28$ ribs. Far from "Fall off the bone". There's pre-cooked ribs you can buy from the grocery store that have the same taste and texture. Texas Road House is slightly closer to me, but surely the local small business has better quality than the chain? Not the case. TRH is better and cheaper. I think I'm done with ribs for a while though. I got through my first half rack and groaned at the sight of an entire second one. 28 bucks! What a bad experience. I've never eaten here before, but I was in desperate need of a good wing place for a medium sized graduation event. I called to ask a few questions and the person couldn't have been nicer. I knew I had found the right place, so I called back later and placed an order of 70 wings, and boy did they go quickly! Someone had requested chicken wings for this event, so I knew I had to bring them, and I have to say that I'm relieved that I got the wings from here. Went to one in greenville. Git there waitress took our order didn't write it down . She was to busy with her family took 17 mins to get our water. Another 20 mins for her to tell us the system was down . Didn't bring our appetizers out . Git our burgers were over cooked . She never asked if we wanted more water. Fries were so over loaded with salt couldn't eat them . Never got coleslaw we ordered. Just a horrible experience manager did come over and took our bill. Other customers who came after us got their water and food in way less time. Our waitress just stood and talked with her family . Never again will I patronize this establishment read more

We ordered three burgers, and three iced teas. After a 50 minute wait where the server walked past us at least a dozen times, our first iced teas were long empty,to the point where all the ice in the cup had melted away to water. Not once were we offered refills.. About an hour in the server comes to us and says, "you are the next ticket up, should only be another 15 minutes." When the food finally came out the burgers which we ordered medium were extra well done and they had forgotten fries on one of the plates. We said something and they did comp our drinks and discount the food, but it was too little too late. This may have been the worst service I've experienced. I won't be returning. read more

Seemed like bistro like until you get past the host stand. Then, just a pub restaurant. Dining room needs a good clean and paint job. Bathroom fairly clean. Food...great wings- we ordered them without sauce and 3 sauces on the side. Great way to go. Chocolate chili- fantastic. Strawberry blue cheese pecan salad- mom and dad loved 1 daughter tried...not really. Burgers- excellent...three cheese bacon and a classic with cheddar. Kids meals- ribs 7 ribs finger licking good...steak- good, good size too.last few restaurants did not give enough food to fill the girls. This was just right! Great beer selection.
