I ordered a Mexican Old Fashioned and enjoyed the smoke, Mezcal, and Buffalo Trace. It "hit the spot" for this celebration and our fajita dish. Chips and salsa arrive at the table, for free, before the meal. I enjoyed the crunch and the spice. For the (paid) birthday celebration, the VIDA Cocina staff brought a lighted ballon display, a small torch on a bottle, and a huge cake, and then enthusiastically sang a birthday song.
