Marisol was a the sweetest and most attentive waitress, the food was great . They use skirt steak for their tacos . It was tender and delicious. Micro green cilantro was surprisingly good. The quac was fresh and the chips were crispy and fresh . I loved the lights and plants and trees in the dining room , made it feel cozy . We will definitely be back if we're in the area again.

My first time here and I loved it ! Vida cocina & tequila was delicious! The margaritas were so good , and the guacamole was super fresh and full of flavor ! The service was exceptional and we didn't have to wait much to be seated and drinks came out so quick! A cute establishment great for dates and to come with family and friends!

Had a good visit to this Mexican restaurant in Altamonte. Decor was very attractive and picture worthy. Restaurant was clean and music was upbeat and light. We were seated immediately upon entry. Of course they have a full bar and tons of tequila choices. I loved the espresso martini, but the bees knees were good as well. Service was excellent and she was very attentive. The trio dip was delicious!! Loved the queso and the chips were freshly made. Guacamole was also yummy and fresh. I did not like the brisket empanadas... the meat was just not to my liking. Loved the tostones. The shrimp were my favorite, but the steak and chicken ones were good as well. The biscoff cheesecake was a perfect way to end the meal with a sweet treat. I definitely recommend and would return to try more.

This was probably one of the best Mexican restaurants iv ever been too. The food was great and service was spectacular. I don't drink alcohol but the drinks look incredible. I will definitely come back!

I took my mom here for a mommy and daughter date and we had the best time. The service from the staff was amazing. They recommended great dishes to us. We fell in love with the planting roll. It was refreshing, not too heavy and very savory. We didn't get to try a cocktail yet but I know that their drinks are really nice. I love the ambience of the restaurant. The decor is top notch definitely will be coming back to try more things on their menu.

I ordered to go and I really wish I dined in. This place is so freaking pretty. I wish I took pix of the interior. But I will definitely be back soon. Everyone was so nice as soon as I walked in. Our food was hot and ready. Everything was so good. The soup was my favorite. They have a nice drink menu , so many things that I want to try next time. There's ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating.

I went for my birthday and had so much fun!! There's a DJ so there's loud music playing the whole time. But it's a vibe, so if loud music isnt for you, you may want to try during the day? The decor is soooo cute!! I had the plantain sushi wish was really good! They also have patron bottle drinks for $22. And they are strong!!! The staff were nice and the service wasn't too bad of a wait. I want to come back to try other foods. I love how cute it is. Definitely recommend

The service here was great. Esteban was very attentive. He made sure we were taken care of all throughout service and that our waters were always filled. For my entree, I ordered the chimichanga. I wish there was a bit more queso, but the meat and sides tasted great.

Anytime I had someone visit me I take them to Vida you will never go wrong here, consistently great food and phenomenal cocktails. Parking is a nightmare here, come early and be patient that's they key, this may be the busiest plaza in Maitland! It was quite busy, however, we were seated us in about 20mins. Really fun vibe to celebrate, or have a great meal. I ordered the Passion fruit Margarita, sooo delicious! Fresh Guacamole and they brought chips and Salsa. You'll only get chips and salsa if you order an appetizer, this is the thing I like the least about this place. Also ordered a Sushi Roll I don't remember the name...yikes.....but it was good! Service was great and fast!

We loveeeee VIDA ! We took our chances and popped in for a late dinner on Vday and VIDA did not disappoint. There was a short wait (they quoted about an hr but we waited 30 minutes or less) our waitress was nice and the food was really good. Fresh and hot ! We loved our margaritas, the shrimp ceviche, tostadas and birria tacos The music was lively lol I wish the Dj played a few love songs **the ceviche was really tasty and fresh. My bf doesn't usually indulge but he had a taste and went back for more. It was sooo good** This was my 3rd visit here. I love this place. It's so cute inside.

Went to this place for a team building Lunch on the road with my team. What a great Mexican restaurant in the area, top notch and great food. I had the burro with shrimp and it was delicious. the Guacamole was also tasty. The service was excellent and staff made some great suggestions. Really nice inside and was not expecting such a cool ambiance. We loved the Gluten free meals for one of our co workers which was perfect.

I recently visited Vida Cocina for a team lunch with a group of about 10 people, and it was a great overall experience from start to finish. We were seated quickly despite the size of our group, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Our server handled the table well, checking in often and keeping everything moving smoothly. We started with the Santo Trio for the table, which includes fresh guacamole, queso, and esquites served with tortilla chips. The tortilla chips deserve special mention. They are easily some of my favorites out of all the Mexican restaurants I visit. They are crispy, fresh, and perfectly salted. The guacamole tasted fresh and made in house, the queso was creamy and flavorful, and the esquites added something different to the table with its mix of corn and seasoning. It is a great appetizer to share and always a safe choice. For my entree, I ordered the steak fajitas. They were delicious. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The portion size was generous, especially for lunch, and more than enough to leave satisfied. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, making it a great spot for both work lunches and casual outings. It feels upbeat without being overwhelming. Overall, Vida Cocina continues to deliver when it comes to both food and service. It is a place I would confidently return to with coworkers, friends, or family. Chicken fajita
    Ki L.

The drinks look so good online, but they are super overly sweet in person. Same with the food; the food look so good on the pictures. But lacks in flavor. Maybe this is not a fair view based on the fact that I'm from San Antonio, but if I go to a Mexican restaurant, I expect balance and flavor, not bland food. I ordered enchiladas and my date ordered the chicken fajitas. He did tell me that they were less flavorful this time than the last time he got them a couple of months prior. So I couldn't help but taste the chicken from his plate and he was right, it look like I had so much season on it, but sadly, it was very bland. The beef from the beef enchiladas, dry and very lean and stringy for some reason. I don't understand, we go to a Mexican restaurant to eat good enchiladas not super Uber healthy meatless, fat list dry meat! I like the service because the waiter was phenomenal, I like their chips, and I absolutely love their verde sauce that they put on the enchiladas. That sauce was the best part! If you are not from Texas or any of the bordering states of Mexico or have not ever had authentic Mexican food or even authentic Tex-Mex food, you should be fine. I however, am not lol.

(I gather you can order food from the neighboring restaurants while drinking here.) It reminds me of The Courtesy in Winter Park--which I definitely mean as a compliment. The drinks are inventive, well-crafted, and well-presented, and the service is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The drink menu the night I went was divided into sections: effervescent, shaken, stirred, and "exploring technique." I had two drinks: the "Siam Silk" is a tiki-ish riff on a clarified milk punch using cognac, a rum blend, and Thai iced tea with fruit; the other drink I had was a low-ABV riff on a Sherry Cobbler. They were both great, and I appreciate that they have a creative low/no-alcohol portion of the menu. This was definitely a pleasant surprise to find up north of Orlando, although perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised at all--Maitland has another one of my favorite bars in the metro area (Permanent Vacation). I'll definitely be back.

I was glad to see there was parking in the back when I arrived, always an important factor these days in Orlando, which keeps getting busier and busier. The bar has cozy lighting, and the Halloween décor was spectacular. Worth a visit to The Courtesy just for that. The bar specializes in cocktails, and their Halloween cocktail menu was long and creative. That said, since I wasn't really in the mood for a cocktail, I ordered a glass of white wine instead. The appetizers, however, aren't as inventive. We ordered curly fries, Brussels sprouts, and the smash burger. The latter was a bit of a disappointment: the patties were thin, overcooked, and almost tasted like a frozen burger. The other two were good, with the sprouts being my favorite. I plan to go back for one of their cocktails with those long descriptions; maybe I'll just pick the one with the longest description and see how it goes.
