I am very pleased with the service I received at the FM 529 location. I had a very elusive problem with a noise in the front end of my 2005 Toyota Avalon. It took three attempts to solve the problem. The mechanics replaced the inner tie rod ends, the two front shock assembles, and the right front CV axle. The noise was still present. On the third attempt, the mechanic retightened all the nuts involved in the front end suspension and that fixed the elusive noise problem. I believe that one of more of the rubber shock absorbers that are intended to absorb the shock from impacts had become stiff over the years and shrunk slightly. It was no longer as effective as it was originally. The mechanics very patiently fixed the problem and the cost was very reasonable. My credentials for making this assessment are the following. I was once a car mechanic. I graduated from college with a degree in engineering. I had a very successful engineering career. In my opinion, the employees at the FM 529 location are first class. We had a very good experience here and will be bringing our cars here from now on. We called for an estimate for a specific repair (cylinder and spark plug replacement), and we were quickly given a straight answer and price quote. I felt like they listened to us when we explained that this was an old car that we only wanted to drive for another month or so until my husband finishes school, so we wanted the bare minimum repairs and inexpensive parts. Other shops gave us all kinds of excuses for why they couldn't give us any sort of estimate over the phone, we needed to come in first, etc. And the shop that identified the problem was insisting on replacing several unnecessary parts, which would have cost 4x as much. So we drove the car from there to 2 Quick, and they put a movie on for my son, worked quickly, and charged us what they said they would. I took my Mustang to this shop because I felt it was running a little sluggish but the computer was not showing anything wrong. They took a look at it and told me what was wrong, then told me to take it to the dealership because it should still be under the power train warranty. The problem would have cost a lot of money as the transmission wiring harness had to be replaced, but was covered just like they said. Had I taken it to the dealership without their diagnosis they would have told me nothing was wrong because the computer didn't show a code. Also I didn't even realize I had a power train warranty. This place was recommended to me by Discount Tire. I went in this morning for an alignment, they let me know that some other things needed to be replaced soon but didn't pressure me into doing it right away as it was a little pricey for me. I also had a brake light that needed to be fixed, they took care of it all and in a timely manner. All of the employees were very honest and friendly! I liked that even though I had no idea what they were talking about they still took the time to show me what they were talking about. I've been to 2 Quick before to have my oil changed. While I was there, Feras told me that I needed front brakes pads and rotors. I did not hesitate to have the work done at his store. I read the reviews and was told by several people how honest they were. I took the car there yesterday. They did a great job. My car now drives a lot better and I feel a lot safer. Even though I called five minutes after closing they were still happy to take a moment and talk about my needs over the phone and even provide me with a quote...Which came in less than two other quotes I had received to change out a valve cover gasket. Completely honest technicians. I have taken my 2013 honda accord to john eagle honda a few days ago and was told that my front brakes needed to be replaced since i only had 1/3 left and it was dangerous continue driving. Took it the car to 2quick automotive and the technician indicated that the front brakes were fine!! For almost a $100 less than the dealer they replaced the rear brakes that needed to be replaced.
