Ice cream can get incredibly rich for me very fast, but that wasn't my experience with their rainbow cookie ice cream! Very smooth, almost reminiscent to birthday cake, with just the right touch of sweetness. There are plenty of seating indoors, and lots of spots to park your car outside! The staff are friendly and they keep the place extremely spotless, cleaning surfaces and even wiping down the glass doors and windows through the night. They also have a water dispenser in the event that you need a sip of water and it's great for people like myself who need water after a sweet! The place is very quiet around the evening (we were there around 8:40pm) and there's hardly a line, if at all. But the place stays open til 10pm throughout the week. The place deserves more traction. I will definitely be coming back here with my husband who is an ice cream fiend!

That's honestly not an acceptable excuse, especially when a customer has already been standing there in the rain waiting for an order that was ready. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn't the only issue. The ice cream itself was terrible. It tasted sour, was watery, and honestly just nasty. I threw it away after a couple of bites because I couldn't finish it. The location itself also isn't very inviting. There's nowhere to sit or enjoy your ice cream--it's basically just surrounded by parking lots with no real atmosphere. I'm very disappointed because I've been to other Bruster's locations and have always been treated like an actual human being. This location was the complete opposite. I learned that during the winter they don't open till 3. Asking if he was the owner, he confirmed that he & his wife were. Going to the back while I got my two pints of Ube Ice Cream from the cooler, he returned with three complementary containers of flavors that I hadn't tried. Sharing with him the fact that I wasn't an Ice Cream person but loved his, he asked if it was the Ube. I told him that flavor was my favorite but it was because his tasted different & so much better than other Ice Cream. Mentioning that other Ice Cream was just too sweet. He confirmed that was the biggest mistake people made preparing Ice Cream. He certainly knows the best way to prepare the deliciousness. Somehow we also even got on the topic of NFL Football. Don't I always? It's wonderful to learn that one of my favorite spots is owned by such a friendly & nice person. He didn't have to unlock the door so I could buy Ice Cream. But he did.
