The space itself is vibrant and fun, with tons of pink accents and cute floral photo ops everywhere. I took my daughter and my four nieces, and we had the absolute best time. There's plenty of indoor seating, plus outdoor seating for the warmer months, which I love. One of the coolest features is their igloo rentals. They're these cozy, clear domes with a cute little gas fireplace inside perfect for hanging out, enjoying your treats, and pretending you're in the Arctic. Went here on a Friday night around 9 pm, I'm late to the Dubai chocolate trend, so I was happy to find out that Sweet Spot sold the strawberries. I loved the decor inside sooo much, it was really cute. I first tried their location on the board walk some time ago, didn't even know they had a physical location. There were self ordering machines, so there wasn't much engagement with the staff. We ordered two scoops of ice cream, one being their graham cracker flavor (8/10) it was new to me and different. I liked it and their Dubai Chocolate Strawberries (9/10) I loved how it didn't taste overly sugary/sweet and all of the flavors blended well together. My only critique was the size/shape of the jar being a little difficult to eat out of. I'd def return and get the strawberries again if they're gonna be kept on the menu. I came to this location on September 22nd with my family. I can definitely say I prefer the one at the oceanfront that has friendly staff. However, they close earlier then this location does. The parking here is a nightmare for the amount of people that go to this location and be prepared for a long wait (20minutes in our case). After waiting for our food to be prepared they brought it out to us and it was wrong :-( when I brought it to the employees attention he just said "you didn't pay for that" and walked off. No assistance on trying to make it write or offering any other suggestions when all i did was ask for a single scoop in a cone and not a bowl... I understand they were busy and taking care of a lot of people but it is crazy to me that they would risk loosing customers and not try to ensure all of there customers were happy before leaving. its a shame my stepdaughter loves to visit this place when we come to VA beach but we will have to go to the one on the ocean front or just find another dessert place when we visit. read more

There isn't much parking so you may have to park at the bank parking lot next door. We were able to snag a spot at the very end of the row so it worked out. Inside you order on a tablet which I really enjoyed. It gives you a chance to see all the menu options and take your time exploring what you want. I decided to try the Dubai strawberries which were overall very good. The only complaint I have is the strawberries were not sweet at all. More sour than anything. But mixed with the Nutella and pistachio cream it's very good. We also tried the cookies and cream extreme milkshake. For the price, you get a lot. You also get to keep the mason jar and bring back for a discount your next visit! Overall, it was a great experience. Clean, staff friendly even with the line of people. The blue raspberry slush was ordered by my kid and it was taller than his head. Inside was gummy bears and worms. It was a really great way to cool off on a hot day. The orders take a while to make since there's so many parts to it and did I mention it's MASSIVE!? The building is over the top pink with plenty of cushioned seats around tables. There's also a really neat setup outside with plastic igloos. The girls at the service counter are also super friendly and helpful. The 3-4 employees working were doing just that, as a manager myself I noticed no one was standing around lollygagging which is always a good thing! In contrast to the parking lot they utilized their space inside very well. Smelled like yut goodness soon as we walked via the door. We tried their funnel cake with the basic topping of powdered sugar, one waffle cone with "crazy vanilla," and one cake cone with strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Both flavors were rather tasty not too overbearing or overly sweet just right to be honest. Hubby and I both felt like the funnel cake could've been fried a touch harder but that's something to request the next time we stop in. Very family oriented as well. We saw parents with children and couples like us enjoying a quick sweet treat. It is very decorative and great for photo ops.
